Democrat Madness Triggered by Sunlight of Common Sense By John Kass | Sunday, Feb. 9, 2025 Why is the hard anti-American left so angry at Elon Musk? They’ve been unmasked. He and his warriors at DOGE have found them out. For years, they’ve been getting paid with your money, a billion dollars a week of American tax dollars, and laughing at you as the United States faces a fiscal deficit and as you’ve pinched your pennies hoping to survive the Democrat Party’s 20 percent inflation, as their leftist allies were living large . That’s why Democrats are so angry. They’ve been discovered. We see the hate and madness in their eyes directed at us for seeing the other side of their face. Now they’re screaming like scalded cats in a sack, because Musk and President Donald Trump have cut off their gravy train. I didn’t approve their spending spree. American taxpayers didn’t vote on the U.S. Agency for International Development spending millions on snacks for terrorist cells of al Qaeda. Or $75 million on diversity scams in foreign nations. What about $17 million for “equity” in Vietnam? Or $8 million to teach Sri Lankan journalists to avoid “binary-gender” language? Or shoveling millions and millions of dollars at left-wing American media organizations without telling subscribers or taxpayers? And so on. And $2 million for sex changes in Guatemala and $47,000 to underwrite production of a transgender opera in Columbia? What of $16 million in condoms for the Taliban? Or $30 million to study AIDS among transvestite prostitutes in South Africa? All this is only a small fraction of federal spending that you pay for. Just wait until Musk and his Department of Government Efficiency move onto other federal departments. Because they’re inviting further detailed line-by-line scrutiny of the federal budget. Nothing illustrates political madness quite like the Democrats screaming in rage, frothing at the mouth, after the corrupt spending schemes of the two worst presidents in American history–Joe Biden and Barack Obama—were discovered and made public. Joe is a drooling meat puppet now, but are Obama and his schemes under every moist rock? It appears so. The Democrats are now hysterically threatening the American people with violence, calling for a fight on the streets if they’re not allowed to plunder the taxpayers. They’re ferocious. The Anti-American left is having difficulty comprehending reality that now they’ve been found out, their gravy train courtesy of American taxpayers is at an end. And so they’re as hideously guilty as the true faces of outrage. More at the link: https://johnkassnews.com/democrat-insanity-triggered-by-plain-common-sense/ .

To be clear, what the DOGE team and USTreasury have jointly agreed makes sense is the following: - Require that all outgoing government payments have a payment categorization code, which is necessary in order to pass financial audits. This is frequently left blank, making audits almost impossible. - All payments must also include a rationale for the payment in the comment field, which is currently left blank. Importantly, we are not yet applying ANY judgment to this rationale, but simply requiring that SOME attempt be made to explain the payment more than NOTHING! - The DO-NOT-PAY list of entities known to be fraudulent or people who are dead or are probable fronts for terrorist organizations or do not match Congressional appropriations must actually be implemented and not ignored. Also, it can currently take up to a year to get on this list, which is far too long. This list should be updated at least weekly, if not daily. The above super obvious and necessary changes are being implemented by existing, long-time career government employees, not anyone from DOGE. It is ridiculous that these changes didn’t exist already! Yesterday, I was told that there are currently over $100B/year of entitlements payments to individuals with no SSN or even a temporary ID number. If accurate, this is extremely suspicious. When I asked if anyone at Treasury had a rough guess for what percentage of that number is unequivocal and obvious fraud, the consensus in the room was about half, so $50B/year or $1B/week!! This is utterly insane and must be addressed immediately.

The American Media Should Not Be Trusted

If you want to know why, for the first time in 30 years, more Americans identify as Republican than Democrat, it’s because Republicans have been given the easy task of asserting intuitive common sense in a country whose leaders got high on reality-altering theories. It’s now liberals who have to explain why, even though every instinct tells you its monstrous, its ultimately good to toy with children’s gender. Why your daughter should face-off against a boy on the playing field. Why, even though, we have a massive illegal-immigration crisis, it’s ultimately good to keep criminals in the country that they entered illegally. Why, it’s ultimately good to spend your money on a Peruvian transgender comic book. If it was hard for conservatives to argue for worthy counterintuitive ideas, think how hard it is for liberals to argue for ruinous ones. Watching them try is as fun as discovering conservatism all over again. https://instapundit.com/701584/ .

Why Elon Musk And DOGE Terrify Democrats Derek Hunter You may have noticed the absolute meltdown of the left over the existence of Elon Musk and the DOGE team doing exactly what Donald Trump was elected to do. I phrased it that way because that’s exactly what is happening – someone is finally going through the government’s books and records to figure out what people do, how much it costs, where the rest of the money is going and whether or not we can live without it since we’re more than $36 trillion in debt. Why would anyone meltdown over that? There’s a very simple reason: Democrats cannot afford for the American people realizing how much government they can live without. More than that, they can’t have the public recognize how much the government was actually getting in their way and impeding their success. The public doing either of those two things would be the end of the Democratic Party. Not one single person in the Democratic Party, either elected or in journalism, has commented positively on anything the Department of Government Efficiency has uncovered and ended so far, nothing. No matter how wasteful, no matter how absurd, no matter how insane or stupid, Democrats are angry that DOGE exists, not that we taxpayers are being ripped off. That tells you something. The most amazing part of all of it is how these people, who’ve spent decades milking taxpayers for their pet causes, for money to fund organizations that employ their children and fund their campaigns, that hire and pay them exorbitant amounts of money for no-show or symbolic jobs when they retire, that use insider information that make them more successful at stock trading than people who do it for a living, have the audacity to refer to what Musk and the crew are doing as somehow motivated by “greed.” {snip} The “kids,” as the left likes to belittlingly call them, who work with him are not in it for the money, either. Most have founded companies, won massive investments in their ideas, and don’t need anything to be more successful than anyone whining about them. What they want, what they crave is a challenge. People who’ve risked and accomplished nothing have no understanding of how successful people, at any level, need a challenge. Standing on top of a mountain is boring, climbing to the top of it is what life is all about. Get there, conquer, then move on to the next things. https://townhall.com/columnists/derekhunter/2025/02/09/why-elon-musk-and-doge-terrify-democrats-n2651908 .

Newsom Signs $50 Million to Fight Trump by Joel B. Pollak California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) signed two bills Friday providing $50 million to fight President Donald Trump’s policies — after returning from a trip to Washington, DC, where he sought federal aid money for recent wildfires in his state. Both bills were passed after a special legislative session called by Newsom after the election to prepare California to lead the opposition to the second Trump administration. Newsom and the Democrat-controlled legislature reached a deal to fund the anti-Trump effort even as the Palisades Fire and Eaton Fire were still smoldering in Los Angeles. https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2025/02/07/newsom-signs-50-million-to-fight-trump-after-asking-for-federal-aid-for-fires/ https://fastdemocracy.com/bill-search/ca/2025-2026/bills/CAB00033320/

RFK Jr: CONFIRMED Trump 47 HHS Secretary
B-Man replied to BillsFanNC's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/rise-and-rise-robert-f-kennedy-jr There is much to learn about the way the world works today by watching the confirmation vote on Trump’s pick of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to head the Department of Health and Human Services. In so many ways, this is a remarkable development with a dramatic story arc, one that speaks presciently to events over the past five years and where they stand in public consciousness. A choice for him would represent a repudiation of the past five years of policy, a prospect nearly all of Washington dreaded. In the course of events, an incredible irony emerged. In committee—and likely too in the larger Senate—the vote fell along party lines, but not in the way one would expect. This lifelong Democrat and scion of the great Democrat family was opposed by every Democrat and supported (so far) by every Republican. Not only that, but the Republican-friendly press opposed him tooth and nail. The Wall Street Journal, National Review, and the New York Post all published bitter editorials that called the nominee a crank and conspiracy theorist. Largely because of a huge push from the grassroots—and because of support from Trump—the Republicans voted for him in any case, while the Democrats simply could not and did not, despite the manner in which Kennedy, in many ways, represented causes long important to many people generally considered to be on the left. Thus does the expected confirmation of Kennedy—his rise and rise for fully five years—embody the best symbolic indication that the old partisan and ideological divides in the country that date back three-quarters of a century find themselves fully scrambled into a wholly new alliance. If you attend any events that bring together MAGA and MAHA, you know exactly what I mean. They are exciting scenes of people who have never been in the same room together, gradually discovering points of agreement and feeling very optimistic about the future. -
The US Treasury Spent HOW MUCH Illegally? Now You Know Why the Left Wants to Stop DOGE. Congress illegally spent at least $516 billion in 2024 on programs for which there was no authorization. Yes, billion, with a "b." A stunning report by the Congressional Budget Office underscores the reason for the legal assault upon President Trump's right to audit payments by the Treasury Department. In a report titled "Expired and Expiring Authorizations of Appropriations for Fiscal Year 2024," the CBO observes: "Historically, House and Senate rules restrict lawmakers from considering an appropriation if it lacks a current authorization." Nevertheless, "CBO estimates that $516 billion was appropriated for 2024 for activities with expired authorizations, which the agency identified for each House and Senate authorizing committee and appropriations subcommittee." That $516 billion in illegal payments cover "1,264 authorizations of appropriations that expired before the beginning of fiscal year 2024 and 251 authorizations of appropriations that were set to expire by the end of fiscal year 2024." The legal authority for some of these payments expired 40 — that's not a typo — years ago. {snip} Making this all the more intriguing is that it would seem that the President could stop those payments without worrying about violating the Impoundment Control Act as they are not legal appropriations by Congress's rules. I will guarantee you that when DOGE really digs into this, they are going to find other ongoing illegal payments on a Biblical scale. https://redstate.com/streiff/2025/02/08/the-us-treasury-spent-how-much-illegally-now-you-know-why-the-left-wants-to-stop-doge-n2185365

USAID has pushed nearly half a billion dollars ($472.6m) through a secretive US government financed NGO, "Internews Network" (IN), which has “worked with” 4,291 media outlets, producing in one year 4,799 hours of broadcasts reaching up to 778 million people and "training” over 9000 journalists (2023 figures). IN has also supported social media censorship initiatives. The operation claims “offices” in over 30 countries, including main offices in US, London, Paris and regional HQs in Kiev, Bangkok and Nairobi. It is headed up by Jeanne Bourgault, who pays herself $451k a year. Bourgault worked out of the US embassy in Moscow during the early 1990s, where she was in charge of a $250m budget, and in other revolts or conflicts at critical times, before formally rotating out of six years at USAID to IN. Bourgault’s IN bio and those of its other key people and board members have been recently scrubbed from its website but remain accessible at http://archive.org. Records show the board being co-chaired by Democrat securocrat Richard J. Kessler and Simone Otus Coxe, wife of NVIDIA billionaire Trench Coxe, both major Democratic donors. In 2023, supported by Hillary Clinton, Bourgault launched a $10m IN fund at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI). The IN page showing a picture of Bourgault at the CGI has also been deleted. IN has at least six captive subsidiaries under unrelated names including one based out of the Cayman Islands. Since 2008, when electronic records begin, more than 95% of IN's budget has been supplied by the US government (thread follows)
