Jasmine Crockett: You're Just Too Stupid to Understand How Awesome Democrats Are Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) continues to make the media rounds, intent on becoming a larger mouthpiece for the Democratic Party. On Wednesday, the far-left congresswoman described a majority of Americans as "uneducated" for supporting President Donald Trump's agenda. Then, on Thursday, while appearing on "The Breakfast Club," Crockett proclaimed she was rooting for other nations to win any trade wars against the United States. She wasn't done with her vote outreach, though. On Sunday, Crockett went on MSNBC to discuss the supposed "anger" at Elon Musk over recent government cutbacks. Her commentary was, in a word, delusional. https://redstate.com/bonchie/2025/02/24/jasmine-crockett-youre-just-too-stupid-to-understand-how-awesome-democrats-are-n2185940 ,

Imagine being lectured about religion by Roundy and Joe. Then the LORD said to me, “The prophets are prophesying lies in my name. I have not sent them or appointed them or spoken to them. They are prophesying to you false visions, divinations, idolatries and the delusions of their own minds. -- Jeremiah 14:14 Meanwhile, back at the thread. Stonewall, UK's Largest Trans Rights Organization, Turned Out to Be a USAID Front David Strom Stonewall UK, which in recent years has been at the tip of the spear in the fight to transify the UK, is slashing their staffing by 50% and even then may be in trouble. Why? USAID cuts. Stonewall UK is a USAID front with some outside donors. Why, you may ask, is the United States government the biggest provider of funding to Stonewall, and organization that has been vilifying women and lesbians in particular for a decade? Stonewall UK began as a gay rights organization and reached its primary goal of normalizing gays and gay marriage in 2014. Since then it has focused on transgenderism, eliminating same-sex space, putting men into women's space, criticizing lesbian rights, transing the kids (although not as much as Mermaids) and promoting the idea that lesbians are bigots for not dating transgender "women." It is funded primarily by the UK and US governments, and in the process, fundamentally changed British culture and law. As an American, I have been outraged about where our money has been going. Were I a European I would be outraged about what the United States government has been funding since it has been focused mainly on radicalizing policies in a way that destroys their culture. https://hotair.com/david-strom/2025/02/24/stonewall-uks-largest-trans-rights-organization-turned-out-to-be-a-usaid-front-n3800132 .

Matt Taibbi: Trump is Trolling the AP. The once-great AP became journalism's word police, and humorously is now claiming to be a victim of censorship “People are claiming the White House is bullying the AP, repeating the saw that Trump is telling them ‘what words to use.’ If you don’t see the irony, you’ve never used the AP stylebook.” https://www.racket.news/p/trump-is-trolling-the-ap

MEGAN MCARDLE: Academia Finally Got Schooled: Universities, colleges took prestige and public support for granted. Now they are paying the price. The left, not the right, picked this fight. Too many institutions set themselves up as the “Resistance” to Trump and tried to make a lot of mainstream political opinions anathematic, while expecting to be protected from backlash by principles such as academic freedom that they were no longer honoring. This was politically naive and criminally stupid for institutions that rely so heavily on U.S. taxpayer support. . . . By presenting their expertise as part of a political fight, academics were not only squandering their credibility. They were asking to be treated like political adversaries. And in a real political fight, the ability to get your opponent’s journal article retracted is way less important than his ability to cut off your supply lines. This danger has been evident for years, yet when I asked academics if this was really wise, most were curiously oblivious to the risks. Though they complained about stingy state legislatures and meddling Republican politicians, many bizarrely took them as evidence that there was little cost to politicizing academia — essentially, “They’re already attacking us, so there’s no point in trying to placate them.” They did not seem to grasp how much worse it could get. Fundamentally, they took their prestige and public support for granted and seemed unable to imagine a world where the word “education” no longer conjured reverent deference among most of the population. Like children throwing rocks from an overpass, they felt protected by their elevated position, assuming their targets could do little but yell back. They weren’t expecting one of the drivers to get out of the car and grab a baseball bat from the trunk. It’s not like they weren’t warned. https://archive.is/qqfXh

Conservatives poised to lead Germany; AfD second The Hill, by Lauren Irwin German conservative opposition leader Friedrich Merz appears poised to win the country’s election Sunday, while the far-right Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) party places second despite making gains. Chancellor Olaf Scholz conceded defeat, calling the election results “bitter,” The Associated Press reported. Scholz’s Social Democratic Party placed third, behind the AfD, in its worst result in a national election in decades. With more than 200 constituencies’ results declared, Reuters reported that the conservative party earned 28.8 percent of the vote with the AfD trailing at 20.9 percent. The Social Democrats came in at third place at 16.3 percent. The AP noted that Germany, as the most populous country in the European Union, , will be key to the ongoing conversation in the region, particularly as it is Ukraine’s second-largest weapons supplier. https://thehill.com/policy/international/5160281-conservatives-poised-to-lead-germany-far-right-afd-second/ -
