This is why Democrats are so scared of gerrymandering, because every blue state is already gerrymandered to the maximum possible extent. Guess Who's Paying for the Runaway Texas Democrats' Attempt to Block GOP Redistricting ? Aside from the "we're saving democracy by trying to stop the democratic process from playing out in the state legislature" lunacy from many Texas Democrats, they're also making it clear they also don't believe all their "existential threat from climate change" warnings: https://twitchy.com/dougp/2025/08/06/guess-whos-paying-for-the-runaway-texas-democrats-attempt-to-stop-gop-redistricting-n2416816

RFK In Charge of Health Care

Gone in a SNAP: RFK Jr. and MAHA End the Decades Long Candy and Soda Gravy Train Chase Jennings For as long as I can remember, Republicans have tried to end the ridiculous SNAP benefit that allows recipients to purchase candy, sugary drinks, and junk food on the taxpayer’s dime. President Trump, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and the MAHA movement are working to put an end to that portion of the program. Historically, any change Republicans have tried to make to the food stamps program, Democrats would get real dramatic and say Republicans are taking food out of the mouths of children. Of course, that was never true. The American taxpayer should never fund waste fraud and abuse in any government program—certainly, paying for harmful foods and drinks for the most susceptible Americans falls into that category. This week, HHS Secretary RFK Jr. and Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins, announced the new change to the benefits program. During a press conference surrounding the announcement, Secretary Rollins outlined the overall importance of this change: https://redstate.com/chase-jennings/2025/08/06/gone-in-a-snap-rfk-jr-and-maha-end-the-decades-long-candy-and-soda-gravy-train-n2192492 . -

Is Israel Committing Genocide In Gaza?
B-Man replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
So why are such images — clearly shaped by partisan and ideological interests — repeatedly published by Western newsrooms? Yeah, that’s a tough one: -
The Constitution, in Article 1 Section 8, directs Congress to “exercise exclusive Legislation in all Cases whatsoever, over such District (not exceeding ten Miles square) as may, by Cession of particular States, and the Acceptance of Congress, become the Seat of the Government of the United States.” The idea was that the seat of government should be a neutral zone, one not dominated by any state or party, dedicated to the running of the government. Instead of a local government or legislature, the district was to be governed by Congress. A place that was meant to operate on behalf of the nation as a whole, it was thought, should be governed by the nation as a whole. That gradually changed. This might not have mattered so much if the political makeup of DC matched that of the nation — but in fact, it’s a one-party jurisdiction. Its local government is utterly dominated by Democrats, and it lopsidedly favors Democrats in presidential elections: Despite losing decisively to Donald Trump last month, Kamala Harris got 92.5% of the DC vote to Trump’s 5% — not much less than the 93% racked up there by 2016 loser Hillary Clinton. That has sobering implications for any Republican facing criminal charges there. Because it’s our nation’s capital city, DC is the scene of many political trials, yet its jury pool is as lopsided as the one that tried the Scottsboro Boys. In fact, when special prosecutor Jack Smith was looking to charge Donald Trump, Democratic lawyers were openly bragging about how biased the DC jury pool is. Maybe President Trump can change this. https://nypost.com/2024/12/17/opinion/congress-can-end-washington-dcs-lawfare-and-one-party-bias/

Please read. The cut off text: 1. It should be emphasized that it began, more or less, as a political smear campaign, designed for electoral advantage, that was then co-opted into a full blown information operation against the duly elected President and the American people. Shouting “They wanted to throw Trump in jail from the very beginning!” is just rejected out of hand, as it’s too jarring to their worldview. When they can be shown that what started as little white lies and insinuations were then built upon with bigger and more dangerous lies that eventually resulted in massive domestic and foreign crises with longterm ramifications, they can begin to understand how important it still is for accountability and historical accuracy. 2. The smear was co-opted into a full blown operation by Obama officials, intelligence agencies, and the mainstream media. They all knew from the very beginning that it wasn’t a situation of Trump secretly receiving orders from Putin himself, but in their zeal to support Hillary, and their horror that Trump’s message of calling them “fake news” was actually resounding with the American public, they were hand in hand a driving force behind kneecapping the President. When they claimed his joke about Russia finding Hillary’s emails was evidence of collusion, it was originally intended to maybe sway some low information voters from voting R to voting D. But when they saw the opportunity to partner with dirty swamp creatures to heighten the narrative to “existential” and even “criminal” levels, they didn’t even think twice.

For those with limited perception of issues, I suppose the "they automatically agree with Israel on everything" mentality is the most comforting. You stick with it. *
