The law license was revoked after Hunter was found guilty of three felony counts, meaning he is immediately prohibited from practicing law in DC. This is more or less automatic with felony convictions. His legal team can appeal, but they're almost certainly more interested in appealing the conviction and preparing for the tax-evasion trial that's coming up in California.
