Odds Jimmie Kimel gives a unifying monologue tomorrow:

ABC Affiliate Stations Push Back in the Face of the Network’s Cowardice on Kimmel. It’s fairly obvious why Sinclair is doing this, and it wouldn’t surprise me if we see Nexstar, another large affiliate owner, follow suit. These companies do not expect Kimmel to go on air and show any contrition about his comments, much less offer a sincere apology. Rather, they expect him to double down in a show of defiance. Whether ABC can somehow persuade him to do otherwise has yet to be seen. So why should Sinclair put its neck on the line for a clown like Kimmel when they don’t know how this will be handled? In that sense, their decision to preempt Kimmel’s show is just smart business. It’s also a necessary moral stand in the face of abject cowardice on the part of ABC. The legacy broadcast network had a chance to rid itself of a money sink and negative lightning rod, but instead, they let a bunch of actors and politicians intimidate them into a self-defeating reversal. What now? They just keep setting cash on fire to make sure Jennifer Aniston and Jim Acosta are happy? Talk about painting yourself into a corner. Kimmel will now be unfirable no matter what happens. https://redstate.com/bonchie/2025/09/22/sinclair-stands-up-in-the-face-of-abcs-cowardice-on-kimmel-n2194234 That should do wonders for ABC’s ratings long-term: Jimmy Kimmel’s ratings were plummeting before ABC suspended him for Charlie Kirk comments. -

The most important news of the day. SCOTUS allows Trump to fire Biden-appointed FTC commissioner The Supreme Court on Monday backed President Donald Trump's decision to fire a commissioner on the Federal Trade Commission, sending yet another signal that the high court intends to revisit a 90-year-old court precedent about executive firing power. The temporary decision to maintain Biden-appointed commissioner Rebecca Slaughter's termination was issued 6-3 along ideological lines. The Supreme Court set oral arguments in the case for December. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/scotus-allows-trump-fire-biden-appointed-ftc-commissioner

BYRON YORK: Conflict in aftermath of Kirk killing. There are two epic battles going on in the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. One is the battle to define Kirk. The other is the battle to define his killer. There are significant voices trying to portray Kirk as a hateful, divisive figure. At the same time, there are voices trying to portray Kirk’s alleged assassin, Tyler Robinson, as a confused, apolitical young man. In simplest terms, the point for both is to absolve Kirk’s political adversaries — Democrats, the Left, progressives, antifa, trans warriors, furries, whatever — of complicity in Kirk’s death. If Kirk was divisive and hateful, then he might have, in some portion, brought his terrible fate on himself. And if the suspect was indeed confused and apolitical, then he was not acting in any directed way on behalf of an ideology that might then bear some blame for the assassination. It’s instant absolution for the Left: We didn’t do it, and even if we did, he kinda deserved it. Weird how the people claiming that Kirk’s assassin wasn’t one of their own are the same people celebrating his murder. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/daily-memo/3818510/conflict-aftermath-killing-charlie-kirk-suspect-tyler-robinson/ Anyway, read the whole thing.

Fetterman Has Some Sage Advice for Schumer on a Government Shutdown By Susie Moore On Sunday, Fetterman joined Dana Bash on CNN's State of the Union to discuss the potential of a government shutdown, given the fast-approaching September 30 deadline for government funding. Bash had previously interviewed Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) on the matter, and Fetterman's observations were largely in response to that. https://redstate.com/smoosieq/2025/09/22/fetterman-has-some-sage-advice-for-schumer-n2194201

You missed the point again (deliberate?) Jesus was trending due to Charlie's memorial service, NO ONE, but you, would assume that we were saying Charlie is like Jesus. Meanwhile: Charlie Kirk's Memorial Was a Hope-Filled Clarion Call Stephen Kruiser FTA: The impact that Kirk and his organization have made on younger conservatives has just gotten clear to me in the last week and a half. It's nothing short of stunning. People telling me that they've been crying for days. People telling me that they know people who have been crying for days. People telling me that their first experience with activism came through TPUSA and that they're more inspired than ever. My 87-year-old mother and relatively non-political loved ones have been consumed by the tragedy and talking to me about the news. What we saw at Kirk's memorial service in Glendale, Ariz., on Sunday was huge in so many ways. First, there was the sheer size of it. "Five O'Clock Somewhere" producer Jim flew in from Rhode Island for the memorial. He arrived at the stadium around 5:40 a.m., and the lines were already insane. He sent me several pictures from the early hours of the day and — I kid you not — it looked like people gathering for a rock festival. All of this was going on four or five hours before the event was scheduled to start. https://pjmedia.com/stephen-kruiser/2025/09/22/the-morning-briefing-charlie-kirks-memorial-was-a-hope-filled-clarion-call-n4943954 -

This is the kind of Roundy response that gets you laughed at. You can do no such thing. But you still try and sound like an authority. Meanwhile: -
