LBs are only as good as the guys in front of them and honestly our defensive front was pretty bad. There was a reason we added Lotulelei and Murphy. Of course still think we need to find a strong side LB.
We see guys like this every year, I see him on Practice squad and/or injury replacement guy. Most likely nothing more than a 4th or 5th guy on the depth chart.
Kerley is a depth WR who can also fill in as a return man. HIs numbers aren't eye popping but he can make a play here and there during a game. I think of former Bill/Cowboy Kevin Williams as a comparison.
Because most LS are LB sized (see 246 lbs). It might look like an easy job but imagine it's quite stressful as one bad one and your career could be over in a snap
Seeing this outlined it looks like we still need to work on LB and possibly a veteran CB.
B - Allen is a C as I felt Rosen a better prospect. Yet Allen's upside is off the charts.
Edmunds was an A and I felt a top 10 talent yet the 3rd rounder we gave up could prove valuable.
That seems like a foolish risk for the Giants if they truly want Barkley or Chubb as could lose them both as I think the Broncos grab Barkley if moved to 2 and Cleveland taking Chubb at 4.
Reports have the Browns making a trade at #4 but won't announce with who until they're on the clock. It could be us assuming Rosen or Darnold are available.
Indeed, on Saturday I'm going with mine to see Phantom of the Opera at Shea's but the cell will be on vibrate but during intermission I'll be checking who we take.
