Not when you faced them! They were a mess and just playing gods awful! Mind you they still don’t look right to me. Meanwhile you mention one.. Pats—- Cleveland, Chargers, Bills, Titans close losses: TB, Dallas, Colts,Miami Bills. —Chiefs close losses; TB, Jags, Pats, Titans, Steelers so again Chiefs kinda stunk then (they did start 2-4 like the Pats)
-
Ya and we had most of them early in the year and against dang good teams. TB, Dallas, New Orleans.. (Dallas and TB games were exciting too, even in a loss) HFA = loud crowd noise… unlike at home.

A Bills fan of all fans shouldn’t say “ you beat weak teams” when the Bills haven’t beaten ANYONE!!! Garbage time? If you think the fact the score could have been 21-20 during said “garbage time” and they were 2 run stops from getting another chance in “garbage” time. I don’t think that word means what you think it means! The Pats could have very easily won that game. Even with the O not moving the ball the Colts scored only 20 points on the D, the deciding factor was the Special teams and the blocked punt. That doesn’t happen and guess what “garbage” time give the Pats a 17-13 lead and I bet they throw instead of run.. Mind you what was the score for Buffalo against Indy in BUFFALO? Oh right 41-15 and Allen stats were almost identical to Jones… and Jones had to deal with a Hostile crowd.. (and he unlike Allen (who never got the chance) was coming threw in the clutch when they needed him to. Threading that needle to Henry make it 20-17) so basically using your logic Jones was a better QB than Allen and gave his team a better chance to win. (To anyone but the person I’m quoting, no Jones isn’t better by a long shot.. just trying show how silly his point is about garbage time.) I was just saying I can understand why BB was frustrated.. the W was there for the taking.. lol

He is mellowing in his old age.. lol I can see how that game was frustrating. Your D played amazingly wel for 57 minutes and 50 seconds of the game and then give up that back breaker long TD run. (Which Taylor should have went flat on his bum at the one to end the game but hey..) He saw his O sputter and be awful for a half just to come alive in the second and needed just one more possession get the win.. but most frustrating the PUNT BLOCK UGH!!
-
He throws to Borne and Meyers everywhere, including over the middle. The Pats may be down Agalor. And Harry.. Harry be missed for his blocking ability.. Where Jones LOVES to target Henry, is in the red zone. He has I think 9 or 10 TD catches now. The red zone where you need take TE away IMO..

Umm the Pats D dropped no less than 4 other potential picks from Wentz.. so let’s not go saying the Colts dominated on O all game, they didn’t. If anything the Pats D let mistakes slip threw their fingers. The Pats were flat most of the first half and that late pick by Jones hurt in the red zone.. but if anything that Blocked punt annoyed me more than the O Studdering for a quarter. (The O moved it in both the 3rd and 4th quarter) That said the Colts were flying around like mad on Saturday.. I haven’t seen that in YEARS from a team.. mind you I don’t see them making the playoffs with their remaining schedule.

The Colts played like it was their SB, they also got HF advantage. Even with all that it was a 20-17 game with 2:10 to go in the 4th… my point? I don’t see the Bills stopping the pats run consistently, and opening up the PA.. Pats 38 Bills 31 I see Allen having a great day but being stopped 1 more time than Jones and the Pats..

Saturday Night Football: Colts vs Pats thread

Lol my original post said the Colts won fair and square.. I just can’t figure out how they missed such a dangerous hit.. (it hurt both players…) The Colts played hard last night like it was the playoffs for them.. they hit hard and we’re just the better team last night.. that said the hit I am talking about needs be eliminated from the game. Going for the ball? Sorry you can not go THREW the receiver to get the ball that’s PI and a textbook call at that. Per the rule helmet to helmet on a defenseless receiver (or one unable to defend himself) is a personal foul.. it doesn’t say “unless you think he is going for the ball” that’s irrelevant. Mind you success if that happened to a Buffalo player you be screaming for top of a mountain it was dirty. -

He lead with his helmet! Not a shoulder a helmet. It also wasn’t a crappy thrown ball it was in his belly.. -

Probably because their D keeps them in every game like they did tonight. I mean until Taylor broke that long one they only gave up 13 points… considering how dreadful the Pats O was for 2 qrtrs I’d say that was pretty damn good.. -

Can someone explain how that wasn’t a personal foul for helmet to helmet hit on a defenseless receiver?? Colts won this fair and square but damn.. how do you miss that call? -

That block punt was the big play of the game. Both D’s played well and I am impressed with Hones ability to not panic in the fourth.. -
Ya because they scored 22 points, and needed OT to win and the Chargers left a MINIMUM of 9 points out on the field by being dumb. Your right it’s because I am use to a coach not vomiting all over himself when big decisions are needed to be made.. maybe your use to your old coaches always making dumb ass decisions like that.. I mean I remember them from the late 80’s and early 90’s but I never backed them. give credit to who? The Chiefs because the other teams coach was a moron?

With The Exception Of The Colts Game We Could Be Undefeated.
PatsFanNH replied to Irv's topic in The Stadium Wall
Almost every team can say that I mean for example “The Pats could be undefeated except for New Orleans if Harris doesn’t fumble 2 games away and well one dropped INT away.. lol the fact is they all happened and their record is what it is. -
Lol ya that penalty I still can’t figure out how they thought it was late or out of bounds.. You never would make a run against a Brady/BB team like that because BB would have adjusted after the second TD. It’s amazing how many coaches can’t adjust on the fly.
