The Pats Defense is the walking wounded. The injury bug has hit it hard especially in the secondary, but losing Judon hurt a lot too. Then we have a hurt Baremore and a run stuffer whose name I can never spell lol playing hurt also. Then add an O line that just awful and well Parker who either runs the wrong dang route or drops a perfect pass.. hey you guys want him say for a bag of hammers missing the handles??

I have seen it. You are also wrong Mahomes not only would get the call he wouldn’t have messed up at the end of the 1st half and not gotten at least 3 points out of that drive. Taylor gifted the Bills the win with that dumb brain cramp right there.

Lol they were not Jet lagged! They won because the Bills now get the preferential treatment SB favorites get, and that is refs will lean your way in 95% of games. I THINK most fans are concerned because the Bills offense looked bad for 2 weeks in a row. To them I say do not worry they will look like their old selves next week and put up 46 points. The Pats secondary is decimated, and our D line is missing Judon while Baremore and a few others are playing threw injuries. (They been on the injury report). Then of course you have the most offensive offense in the league that has the O line gives up the most pressures going against one of the D lines that gets pressure.. maybe Malik Cunningham starts since he can run for his life all game. Lol

Agreed! It really hurt on Defense we lost our #2 CB Jones today so now they have JC Jackson and our 5th CB. Then add in losing Judon, and our pass rush is not that good anymore. Them there is the O which has not had the starting 5 O lineman play 1 full game together.. not 1. So while Mac looks gawd awful and I’d love get a shiny new QB who suppose to be good I’d be happy with Hairston JR or heck a nice competent OT.

Hurts, Purdy, Dax, heck Goff has looked real good in Detroit the last couple of years.

A friend and myself were discussing how just a couple years ago we were all saying how tough the AFC is going to be with so many great QBs in it. Well now in 2023 it seems we have 3 established great QBs and the rest well stink. We had a hard time thinking of a top 5 in the AFC. 1. Mahomes - the best of the best till they are dethroned. 2. Allen — been consistently good for years now. 3. Burrow — having a bad year but been good since he entered the league. we thought Rogers be the next one but agreed with him out maybe it Jackson? But the Ravens O still kind of stinks and he has weapons now. Tua could be 4 but will he stay healthy this year? Then Lawrence has shown flashes of being good but has been average most of the time.. after then the rest are garbage or rookies.

I don’t think they are tanking on purpose. But the loss of so many CB and Judon and the D is average now, while the O is an awful mess.. right now they have the 5th pick and Chicago has the top 2 picks and the Pats face Denver and Minnesota will definitely win a few games. So I can see them having a top 3 pick if they win just 1 more game..

Since Kraft became owner: Parcells — Left because he couldn’t “buy the groceries” but they went to 1 SB Pete Carroll — who wasnt’t ready yet be an NFL HC and Kraft still learning. BB — well we know this one. You said only got it right once, I say all 3 were good hires, I think Carroll was hurt by his inexperience as well as Krafts inexperience as an owner. mom not worried about the next HC, I am worried about the next GM he has to choose as he has not gotten that one right on it own yet. (Watch he hires Jim Harbaugh and gives him BB type control lol)

To stay on the subject thread.. if you were him NE wouldn’t be one of those teams. They won for over 20 years and Kraft is still considered one of the top owners. Heck even if people were right and it was all Brady.. wouldn’t your ego as a QB say you could do it too?

No. The simple fact is the O is worse because the O line is actually either the worst in the NFL or the second worst in the NFL. Add in the Pats have average WR, and actually downgraded from Meyers to JuJu (whose knee seems shot). So now even the run game stinks because the O line can’t block and the pass game stinks because the QB has the least amount of time to throw in the NFL. Also the last 2 games Jones has just regressed terribly! As for Kraft he hates losing! If this keeps up BB will be “retiring” before the season ends.

A few things about the Pats with Brady: 1. in the early years he had Corey Dillon as a RB that helped a lot. 2. for most of the time he was in NE he played smart and took what the D gave him and minimized turnovers. This was key because the Pats usually had a good D as well. 3. The Pats IMO had the best OLine coach ever in Scar and he just was able to make almost anyone work on his line. I say the dynasty truly ended when he retired after their last SB win. Their O line been average to down right bad since. 4. IMO what made NE good was the fact they could win by Brady’s ability or by defense or even by special teams making a big play in a game. Also back with Brady every game plan was designed uniquely to attack that team. One week it be heavy pass the next be running it down your throat, and sometimes it be okay safe and don’t turn the ball over and let the D win the game with a big turnover or making them punt deep in their own end zone. (Thinking the Pats v Rams SB)

I can definitely agree with this. As I see it the only chance the Giants have is if the Bills O makes mistakes like it did against the Jets. Before someone says it, yes the Jets D is better but the turnovers were unforced mistakes.
