This is a great signing! No doubt about it. And I'm a skeptic when it comes to everything. This was the best option available to them and they got it done. Combined with the Stevie re-signing, this frees them up to do pretty much whatever they want with the number 10 pick in the draft.

Wow. Sounds like a done deal. Not sure he's worth what we're going to pay him, but at least we aren't so repulsive that we can't bring in a big name player. Draft a couple solid linebackers and we could have a real nice defense for the next five years.

I like Fitz. He seems like a cool dude. He's a gunslinger. He's played some exciting games for us. Having said that, I'm of the opinion that he is what he is at this point, and that he'll never be an elite winning QB in this league because of his inaccuracy. You can blame his crappy season last year on his "injury", but his accuracy problems were there before the Redskins game. Don't forget...we win the Giants game if he hits either of those throws to an open Stevie down the sideline. Just a hunch but I think he'll be our starter for two more seasons...max.

I agree. He'd be a fool not to sign with a better team for comparable money. Would you rather be making $8 mil a year playing for a playoff team in San Francisco or making the same money with the bottom-feeding Buffalo Bills? It's a no-brainer.

I'd take him on the cheap. He's still a decent player and a good locker room guy. And he's definitely an upgrade over anything we have after Stevie.

I don't buy Tiger as disliked. Maybe two years ago right after the affair stuff came out. But most golf fans (that I know at least) are now rooting for the guy to get his career back on track. The Humphries inclusion is just stupid. I doubt 5% of sports fans hate the guy. He's basically a nobody. Sort of surprised about Plax too. What he did was stupid, but that was half a decade ago and it wasn't as if he hurt anyone. More than anything, he just embarrassed himself. I get Vick.
