  1. I'm not crying, it's the dust in here DL could be crazy good soon!
  2. We are literally never going to draft a big DT That said I trust the coach and GM. Maybe he'll be great
  3. OP wasn't necessarily wrong... The guy was just gone way before our pick. No way to know unfortunately. AI kept telling me he was a 2nd or even 3rd round pick so I was hopeful.
  4. I like the speed, skills and personality Good pick I think!
  5. If they draft Grant I will cry tears of joy
  6. Google Gemini thinks Grant is a 2nd or 3rd rounder!
  7. ordering a pizza and watching with the cats. They're ready for some ball, even if it's just picking players. They'll see highlights of each player, and that is enough to tide them over this time of year.
  8. Bills are in a good spot to trade up for a real difference maker if everything goes right... You just never know.. Teams could get QB and WR crazy and all of a sudden a bunch of the linemen fall to later picks
  9. the Bills trading up 10 spots and drafting a 340 pound DT? pretty much my dream scenario, aside from him somehow falling to them at 30
  10. IMO Deion will be his coach in the NFL one day too. Bad team drafts him, it goes so-so, they fire the HC and bring in Deion to maximize their investment.
  11. I turn on WGR this morning and hear them discussing the possible DTs... And of course the big guy (Walker) is "too underdeveloped" in his lower body and all the 340 pounds is up high... There's always a reason not to draft the big guys... If he was 298 pounds soaking wet then he would be a "high motor, high character guy" who would fit right in and disappear on gamedays. But I repeat myself.
  12. of course... always the skinny guy. We need size at DT!
  13. the Bills drafting a skinny DT
  14. ok, I could get on board! 330 is a bit light but he's only 6'3''
  15. This is my dream DT Even with Beane and McDermott telling him to slim down he could lost 60 pounds and still be 400
  16. I should have said "basically impossible to do" but when I think of "clue chip generational player" on defense he just comes to mind. I grew up a Bills fan in the 80's and 90's and even I forgot just how absolutely dominant that guy was until I went back and watched some old games and looked at his stats. The guy was just built different. 10 sacks at age 37 with Washington, and 9 sacks at age 39. Even 5 sacks at age 40 is crazy. But here... Guy had 14-19 sacks most of his prime seasons. He might be more of a once in a lifetime player than once in a generation, though.
  17. Put Bruce Smith in his prime on this team and we already would have 1-2 SB wins with no other changes. Obviously not easy to do.
  18. I like this, because all that happened was the Bengals stayed the same but burned a ton of cap and cash. They are the same team they were last season when they missed the playoffs. Burrow will throw for 6000 yards and 51 TDs and they will finish 8-9 but "be the team nobody wants to see in the tournament (that they won't make)!"
  19. I just get the sense listening to MacAfee and some of the things Rodgers has said that he definitely wanted to play for the Rams or Vikings, and would have signed with either team already. IMO, his #1 plan was the Rams once Stafford left, which seemed pretty likely. He goes to LA, plays there in a fairly weak division with a great offensive minded HC. Then the Vikings emerged as an idea and he wanted to explore that and try to drum up interest. Great team, play in the old division, get 2 shots at Green Bay. But it turns out they don't seem interested. So now, it's Steelers or Giants. Steelers are allergic to NFL offense, and always seem to start 11-1 or 9-3 and then lose a bunch of games in a row before getting bounced in the Wild Card round. But they have a good team and just got Metcalf for some reason. Giants are just awful and have 1 good offensive player and a coach and GM about to get fired halfway through the season if things start rough. Both Washington and Philly are great teams, so it's also a tough division. I could see him saying he came back in his 40's from a torn Achilles to be a top 10 QB in yards and TDs last season (which is somehow true), played all 17 games, was starting to heat up at the end of the year once he fully recovered from injury, won his 4 MVPs and a Super Bowl, and has nothing to prove. He'll also deny that he tried to join the Vikings or kept anyone waiting, saying the media created it all and loves making him the center of controversy. Just my prediction.
  20. he will probably retire, IMO
  21. Please no Thanksgiving game....
  22. 89/90 million is guaranteed.... It's that last million that the team couldn't quite do
  23. Something I don't think you can underestimate is Bosa coming in here and already talking about playing with Allen and going for a SB win That, coupled with a 1 year deal will mean he will be as motivated as ever before. And he is incredibly talented, he's just had some bad injury luck. The way this DL rotates guys in and out hopefully he'll be fresh for the big moments.
  24. I thought the same thing, then realized... they do not like huge DTs
  25. LOL well said! I was honestly shocked to see them, and I doubt anyone actually bought them because they were there all summer and into fall.
