  1. Looks like playoff Gabe showed up today!
  2. Got away with one there! Good job by the defense
  3. Bills are going to steamroll the Bucs
  4. Miami will be in the hunt in December. That's a great job by McDaniel
  5. If I had to pick 1 of McDermott or Beane to stay I would choose McDermott and it's not even close. And I'm not a huge McDermott fan either
  6. It feels like every international game goes to OT
  7. The rumor that Beane was "not allowed" to move meaningful assets at the deadline sort of fits if McDermott wants a new GM IMO Pegula loves McDermott and really likes Beane.
  8. Looks like none of that will matter
  9. So many huge games today Great weather for watching RedZone all day when the Bills game goes to commercial not to mention later
  10. Wow! Defense totally dominated those 2 plays
  11. Wait til you see the Belichick and Allen commercial during the Super Bowl!
  12. At 4-7 the Dolphins wouldn't be out of the playoff picture Their next 2 games are Saints and Jets Anyone around .500 in December has a shot
  13. Oh geez ... Yeah that's a bad look
  14. Late is late but I wonder how late we're talking...
  15. Yeah that was pathetic, honestly... I clicked (of course the goal of the writer) expecting to read that Daboll came across the table at someone in a meeting but turns out he said he would take playcalling away? I mean come on
  16. The season needs to play out still. We could go all the way still. HOWEVER, if it doesn't look good and the offense struggles and we exit the playoffs early, especially if it's against an up and comer team and not KC again, do not be shocked if McDermott and Beane are let go and Brian Daboll is the new HC.
  17. just gross, no thank you
  18. Bills can also very easily get to #1 seed by ripping off a few wins in a row and KC beating Denver and Indy One thing that playing with this tool proves: so much football left to be played and so much can still happen The Chargers, Bills, Patriots, Broncos, and Colts all have viable shots at the #1 seed
  19. I've got the Bengals leading their division at 6-6 after all week 13 games have been played, and the only "iffy" result was Bengals over Ravens on Thanksgiving.
  20. Bills by a billion this week. Book it! This game is nowhere near as important to the Bucs as it is to us. That division is awful and they have a ton of injuries. This is one they'll just want to get past and never really think of again. This is going to be a steamroller of angry Bills players and coaches tired of being written off and criticized, miserable weather, Bills badly needing a W and the Bucs more so "meh" in terms of the effect on their season, and the biggest equalizer in sports: the NFL narrative buster effect. I've often thought that football especially is such a mental game and these players are all the best of the best, even on so-so teams and even the backups. What makes great teams and players great is consistent focus and execution. That's where the narrative buster effect comes in. Player A has been distracted, not totally into it, maybe not always giving his all. He hears it week after week until it hits a boiling point: Player A needs to be benched. He's a bust! So he locks in. He's already one of the most physically gifted athletes on the planet, or he would not be in the NFL. But now pride kicks in and he goes 100% into the game prep. As a result, he has a great game. Narrative busted, and everyone is so shocked. Same thing with teams overall. Fire the coach! OC is terrible! Defense can't stop the run! They're having a fire sale! It's going to be a cakewalk! And a 6-2 perennial contender gets dominated and blown out by a 2-7 team that just fired its GM and traded one of its best players. It's because not everyone is focused 100% all the time. When they are, LOOK OUT.
  21. I get annoyed by usurper teams! It's our turn dammit! I know that's not how it works, but it's one thing to lose to Mahomes or Burrow or even Jackson if that came to pass. That's bad but I can live with it on some level. But watching the Colts, Patriots, Chargers or Broncos jump ahead in line and have these great exciting contending teams while we run a HS offense is too much.
  22. It's just processing... sometimes these things get hung up in the system I do wonder what happened to the barrel.
  23. Beane and McDermott want to build the 2015 Panthers. Beane has mentioned that team specifically in comments, which proves it's on their minds. IMO the see Josh as a version of Cam, only this time they won't ruin his career by having him take too much of a beating early on. That sort of explains most of their philosophy. The only major difference is they have never found their MLB equivalent. Other than that, they want a superman QB, jags at WR, and lots of resources spent on defense so they can scheme it up. McDermott is distancing himself from Beane so he can avoid the blame, but I think it's clear as day where the philosophy comes from.
  24. Ravens have some tough games coming up, including 2 Burrow Bengals games, Patriots, Packers, and Steelers twice if you want it (Pittsburgh always plays them tough even when they're bad) Every one of those teams will be playing all out to win because they need the W's for division races, seeding, etc. It's no guarantee that the Ravens suddenly became inevitable If they are some juggernaut and beat all those AFC teams then it just helps us
