  1. Having cleared cap space with the Schnowman, it is time to extend Po. From what I can tell he has universal respect in the locker room and he is a warrior. Extending Po would give the team a boost and help purge the Ariaza situation. I believe it would be a boost for the locker room and the fan base. Not saying be crazy, but I am sure he wants to get something done and finish what he has started here. Could be a real win-win.
  2. This sarcasm expresses my feelings exactly. OBJ for this team is the wrong guy -- I do not believe OBJ would provide too much of an upgrade over Lil' Dirty in the slot and Davis wide. So why spend the money? And even more, why risk the chemistry? We don't need him. Get more Online help at the trade deadline instead (if one needs to make a move).
  3. Happy Birthday Coach. You have always been a class act that reflects well on our City and our Team. Except maybe for that fight song. Yeesh!
  4. One of my all-time favorite Bills. Our family's thoughts and prayers go out to the Schnowman! I knew we had a fun group with him and Tre in 2018. They are heart and soul dudes. Go Schnow!
  5. Sad day for me, when the inspiration for your twobillsdrive username dies it is not good. Loved watching Marlin, he was so exciting. Had to post in his honor. Godspeed Marlin, you should have got a full shot at QB, the world knows that now, but you were a great WR. Here is a new article about him and his Omaha roots you may find of interest - a humble, gracious and sensitive guy: https://omaha.com/sports/local/chatelain-marlin-briscoe-the-magician-had-magic-ability-to-live-in-two-worlds/article_e77f2ace-f70f-11ec-bbb3-9b1fa8ff1710.html?utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter_OWHsports
  6. Every time I watch a Bills highlight film I cannot believe how great Allen is. He routinely covers 30-40 yards at a time running it or passing it. What a horse, and to combine that with his leadership of the team and bond with the community it is just un-bill-ievable. Let's go!
  7. Amazing article. That was my neighbourhood when I was little. A long time ago. I am aware of the differences now. But I bet it still has a lot of the same character. Best thing about it then was it was a walking neighbourhood - you didn't need a car. Some people didn't have one. I could picture what Dion said about people walking there for their groceries. We need to get behind contributing Let's prove Dion right about all the wonderful things he said about our community. I will be doing so as soon as leave TwoBillsDrive. May have to get myself of Dawkins jersey, how can we not love that guy?
  8. While I hate the "pump the brakes" expression, I agree with the OP. Was just posting in another thread that I love all Bills teams about the same (within a range). Even when they suck. Rain or shine, they are our squad. So I am all with the OP on "let's support this excellent group while we got 'em." I want that Super Bowl as much as any fan (I think), but I am going to stay thankful for what we have and support them both when they thrill and when they disappoint. I am thankful that they are here. When I was a kid, Ralph threatened repeatedly to move the squad. So long as the Bills are from Buffalo I can easily support them through anything. Sometimes it is a bit easier than others, but it is always easy.
  9. It is funny, I have always loved the Bills the same amount - a ton. For too many years to report. So it may seem crazy, but I have enjoyed all the years a lot, even when we were horrible. One just had to look harder for silver linings (often finding false ones). And now with Josh or at Kelly's peak, there was this added pressure that if we don't win the season was not worthwhile. Ha! I remember plenty of times 9-7 looked like a steak sandwich. So yes, I love and really enjoy this team, and more so maybe than any other. But I have loved them all, in a maximal kind of way, so the incremental love for these Bills is not as great as I would expect. They are all like my children, and I have to love the goofy kid just as much as the squared-away scholar athlete.
  10. Josh Allen - our guy. A perfect fit in our city. And the best QB in the NFL.
  11. Nothing but respect here. Thanks Jerry, for being a loyal Bill and a real pro. Said a lot about you to me when you survived the (very much needed) McDermott purge - namely, that you played the game the right way and were a great teammate. Lots of fun yelling "Huuuuughes" -- go get 'em in Houston and thanks for the memories! Wishing Jerry the very best.
  12. He is and will continue to be one of my favorite Bills of this era (though there are many to love on this team). Not just for what he did on the field (which I think was solid at worst and pretty damn good overall), but because of how he earned the chance to make the team and earned the chance to start. Because of how he prepared and dedicated himself to the team. Because of the odds he overcame to earn the chance. And for posting his cell number and taking every fans call about the Bills during the pit of the pandemic - gave me something to do and cheered me up. Thanks Levi, go get 'em in Pittsburgh, just not against us!
  13. Liking it better than NFL Network, although I do like Jeremiah
  14. Still some talent - couple IOL I think are interesting, couple safety prospects, couple of power backs with size. I will check out Reece Davis!
  15. Give us one or two big developmental offensive lineman at the end here Beane. But you owe me nothing Mr. Beane, having secured PUNT GOD!
  16. Love this draft, can't believe it really. Was feeling dark in the second when all those WRs were going. And Beane wheeled and dealed and pulled out a beauty. So impressed with our FO. Shakir man, just can't believe we got him.
  17. Bedford does not look like a reach one bit. He looks like an amazing Beane is a witch pick. Kiper went on so long about him they had to cut him off. One of his favorite players in the draft. Then I open the "NFL Draft Bible" and it raves on and on about him and concludes "has the potential to be a star" in the league. Never heard of this guy but he sounds amazing - big and tenacious. From the draft bible: A big physical cornerback, with ball-hawking skills and lockdown capabilities. This is a player that put in the right situations, can become a star.
  18. What a great draft, now that we have the punt monster, I defer to this board on the rest!
  19. Can take him right after Matty Boy, we have two real close here -- like Smith. But PUNT GOD!
