  1. Yup - plus you can't trade diggs to anyone. But there are teams in the top 10/15 that would absolutely value an extra 1st round pick in 2025. Doing this trade to acquire 2 2nd's in 2025 makes it a beat easier to stomach losing a 2nd 1st rounder.
  2. Yeah - great player here. Never got over the top, but anything other than thank you for the contributions isn't really fair to the guy.
  3. Cash doesn't affect the cap space taken out. It would just... pay for stuff. I believe they can still spread cap hit over 2 years though.
  4. Alright... he's a rookie who was having a very promising season. I don't know that many would say he is better than diggs.
  5. You can't trade cap space, and you can't trade dead cap. It is money that was already paid and using bonus models to spread it across multiple years.
  6. Dead cap is dead cap. It's roster bonuses, restructure, and signing bonuses. You can't trade it - its basically compensation that was spread over several years. All base salary, workout bonuses and per game active bonuses are acquired by the new team.
  7. There is no way to... trade the dead cap. It is money already paid to diggs. They acquire his base salary for 2024 - which we couldn't cut since it was at least partially guaranteed. You can still split the dead money across 2 years which i assume we do. This wasn't the worst contract on the books since we have von miller, but there is no trading von for much of anything at this point since his value is 0 and he's expensive as hell.
  8. You can now more confidently move a 2025 1st round pick as you now have minnesota and our own #2s. Not every team can absorb Diggs cap hits (or wants to), but every team picking in the top half of the first round will have interest in a 1st or 2nd round pick in 2025 in a move-down scenario.
  9. I think with 2 1sts and 3 2nds in the next 2 drafts - you have ammunition to move into the top 10 of the draft without giving up too many of your 2024 picks.
  10. KC called timeout the previous play (and we used our stupid defensive timeout to freaking boot) - like you had SOOO much time to just be like. There are 8 seconds. 2 rushers - everyone else in man, and hold immediately off the LOS. They will call holding and KC probably lose the time on the clock. You can only usually do it once before they'll call the intentional hold foul. After that itll be first and 10 and potentially as little as 0 on the clock for a hail mary at midfield.
  11. I thought this was going to be about getting a really good rugby kicker to just do both punts and FGs with drop kicks. If hes fast enough you can do a lot of fun stuff with fakes in certain locations of the field and just go for it in the no mans land/long FG situations. Basically free up a roster spot.
  12. Yeah, the only reason I'd lean o-line is just because it keeps your shiny expensive QB healthy. Not to mention the Chiefs just won a super bowl with like no one at WR, and an elite offensive line. It also has the bonus effect of helping establish a good running game. Being able to sometimes run the ball effectively is a huge counter for teams built to stop your passing attack. I'll also say it is hard to find a recent super bowl team that didn't have a strong defensive line as well though. Maybe the 2018 patriots? I wouldn't say it was a particularly bad group though - Guy is solid, Flowers was in a pre-injury prime, Malcolm Brown at the nose, Wise in his 2nd year. Definitely some talent in that group, and you could do a lot worse. 2016 Falcons are probably the last mediocre defensive line (and defense) to even make a super bowl.
  13. Yeah. You go into camp with 90. Assume a pick, maybe also some UDFA's. He's there to try and play his way on the roster, or at the very least push the rookies to earn their spot.
  14. My B - i was hunting wikipedia and laughing that her page brought me to his 😄
  15. Probably met her dad: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jake_Steinfeld Her dad does seem pretty freaking
  16. I think an argument can be made to Offensive or defensive line.
  17. But they do carry a decent probability of reoccurrence, not to mention the possibility of sapping skill (long layoffs) and explosiveness.
  18. There's a difference in price from a toyota to say a lexus or mercedes though. I think this would fall into that latter category.
  19. I mean - free ticket to the home opener? Giddy-up!!
  20. I felt like the M&T club was very business like as well. I also hated that you couldn't open a window in there. It was a very sterile environment to watch a football game. Like... i was a little tipsy so at the time - a couple slices of ribeye was amazing. But then the game started and we blew out Tennessee and it was just... not totally right in there. Too many people didn't care about what was going on. My company did an event for bills-KC in KC - and they combined the ticketing process with a sponsored tailgate event. Get the business crap out of the way and then go into the game.
  21. Eh - while there wasn't really a bad seat in the building... The bathroom situation was terrible in many sections. Concessions were slow and obnoxiously inefficient. There were too many seats for a market the size of buffalo. Also - it was like 90% metal bleachers. It's really hard to navigate to certain seats. Have to find the right stairwells to get places. Club entrances were all over the place and confusing Good luck if you're even remotely disabled or handicapped The space around the stadium isn't properly used, its just a big loop of pavement. They host the wing fest event there (and likely are looking to add others in the future), and its just not built for that type of event. A larger actual... event space outside the stadium can make attending these types of events easier logistically.
  22. So founders club is likely businesses. The other two will get scooped up by other businesses, wealthier fans, and ticket brokers. The main points around club seats and PSLs though? That revenue is NOT shared with the opponent. PSL money goes straight to the bottom line, and every club seat has a ticket fee (that is shared) and a club fee (that is not). We were lagging behind probably every other team in the league in ticket revenue.
  23. Friend brought me to the M&T club as a "client" for the ad agency he worked at. Food/booze is included and served the entire game - and it was fancy. Carved Ribeye steak. Risotto. Shrimp. Stone crab claws. Open bar with top shelf cocktails. A sundae bar etc.
  24. Injuries suck, and there is a fair amount of risk associated with the player - but 2x All-pro players under 30 are usually worth taking a shot at. The rams were basically starting late round rookies across the board last season though, so they're looking to add talent.
  25. My only concern is that he had like... 1 play greater than 20 yards all season.
