  1. I'd think SF would be choice number 1. New Orleans would be in that 2nd tier with TB and Indy. He needs to go somewhere a- that he can at least compete to start and b- that isn't terrible so he might be able to re-establish his value.
  2. Doubtful he fetches much. 3 years burned on rookie deal - 1 left. If the NYJ eat the roster bonus, you get more value (he'd only have to be paid a little under 1 million if you trade him after camp starts... in a year where caps probably somewhat crunched this is likely the case). Assuming his 5th year option is not selected (you don't want it to be - 1 year at top 10 money) - you're getting him as a cheap rental. Not a potential young guy franchise QB etc. You just get the tag as leverage if he's good. Is that worth a 2nd rounder?
  3. Zone corner is not easy to be good at. Its easy to hide a player and avoid getting beat deep. But on underneath stuff you have to be reading qbs and trying to break passes up at the point of arrival. It also requires good tackling. For being an Udfa hes been a solid player though.
  4. My buddy was so jazzed about beating NE week 16. I said - they're going to lose to buffalo next week. Just wait. It will happen.
  5. Sat down and watched the entire game. Their offense is not good. Offensive line isn't good in pass pro or rush blocking. They have no speed or skill players that scare u. Tua seemed very hesitant. Its a bad offense. They did get 2 big turnovers to keep them in it. The defense tackles well, but they honestly don't rush the passer very well. They blitz a ton and were getting caught up field in rushing plays. Fitz turns it over but moves the ball. Tua doesn't do either. The team I just watched? I can't see them winning any of their last 4 games against kc, ne, lv, or buf.
  6. And they aren't a good rushing team either. They should win the next 2 as its probably the 2 worst offenses in the NFL in the jets and Bengals - but after that you're facing teams where you have to score points. So they need to figure something out.
  7. After watching that game, I have a hard time seeing them winning any of their last 4 games.
  8. Figure it this way assuming teams split Both beat jets twice (would be amazing for buffalo if gase were to pull a rabbit here and beat them... i honestly wouldn't be that surprised - they've playedbetter as the seasons gone along) Both go 3-1 in the NFC so now both teams are 5-2. if they both split NE - thats 6-3 -- (This is a game buffalo can't afford to drop. If NE beats miami and loses to buffalo that'd be the ideal scenario for separating the teams in the division) Both lose to KC - 6-4. Say Miami goes 2-2 in the AFC west (loses to KC and LV) and buffalo goes 3-1. Miami would be 8-6 with games against Jax/Cincy and buffalo 9-5 with games against Pitt and Tenn. Essentially - performing better against common opponents might still not be enough - as Miami's 2 non-common games are that much easier.
  9. Figure they split and win the same (or buffalo wins 1 more even) common games. Who's more likely to come out ahead at the end? 2 games can make a big difference.
  10. Bengals and jags or titans and steelers... thats a pretty big difference. Its like a 12 win swing on strength of schedule.
  11. I know they just had a similar covid thing to what happened with norman, but being in florida - and players likely being out in miami... I'm totally waiting for them to be the team that ends up with like an outbreak.
  12. Whatever gives you the best chance of winning. Play the falcons twice in 3 weeks - Could switch it up in game 2 and give them an entirely different look. Hopefully this hurts kamara, as I'm playing against that guy in fantasy this week lol. Hopkins had a fairly weak game so i should have a good shot.
  13. I was thinking Kordell Stewart. Winston's not that bad. I don't know that he should be starting anywhere at this point - but you could do so much worse with a backup. I don't know that from a backup film-room guy he's that good or whatever, but if he came in and had to start games i'd feel better about him than every backup except maybe... Brissett, Keenum, Fitz. Thats probably about it.
  14. For sure - would be hard to carry 5 TEs on the 53 though. So you'd need an injury or something I'd feel.
  15. So 2019 7th round pick that hasn't practiced since July, is supposed to take over at TE over 4 guys ahead of him on the depth chart? Gonna be tough sledding considering he doesn't play special teams and Smith/Gilliam do. So you'd essentially have to say you like him as a TE over Knox or Kroft. He's a big dude, but he's not particularly sure handed and they already have that guy with Lee Smith.
  16. Isn't Sweeney on IR? Doesn't he need to like... practice a bit? The guy was on the PUP/IR since July. I can safely assume, he will have 0 contribution to the 2020 bills outside of major injuries at the position.
  17. Is it all kamara? He's certainly a dynamic player and a great receiver out of the backfield... But Armstead-Peat-McCoy-Ruiz-Ramczyk is one of the best offensive lines in football. Buffalo's is not. Look at elliot - that offensive line was hurt with tons of injuries and sure enough - the game breaking RB looks borderline bad.
  18. Personal foul for nothing and they get a ton of free yards. They showed one replay and then realized it was a terrible call, and just ignored it.
  19. That hold was about what winters did, maybe less. Both on big 3rd down coversions.
  20. That hold was about what winters did, maybe less. Both on big 3rd down coversions.
  21. He landed in a good spot. Gets diggs targets, and with Thielen drawing more of the tougher coverages. I like him a lot though - great back shoulder guy, great hands, fights for extra yards. A bit like JuJu, some of that tyler boyd - both really good players, and he gets to mentor with Thielen. I don't think he's going to get tons of long TDs, but he's good now and going to be a great player.
  22. Trey flowers isn't particularly fast, strong or crazy athletic at the OLB/DE spot but he was really good for NE. Struggling a bit this year, but i guess he's been hurt.
  23. They went with the proven guy in Diggs over who might be there at 22 or trying to maneuver around other teams picks in that round. They wanted a man coverage beater - Jeudy wouldn't have been there, lamb wouldn't have been there, ruggs wouldn't have been there. Jefferson was there, but buffalo didn't know that - and he always seemed to project as a #2 WR.
  24. Diggs being basically 1st has been great. AJ and Moss weren't reaches and seem to be players. You drafted a kicker who made the team. Late round rookie WR looked solid in camp, and with a few guys likely off the roster he may get a shot next year. Jackson didn't look out of place at DB either so he can compete to start somewhere down the line.
