  1. Mahomes is the definition of fearless.
  2. Mahomes so accurate
  3. After yesterday's game I wonder if they think to upgrade both lines as a priority in the off season. Mcd mentioned winning the line of scrimmage aftergame.
  4. He's just not dropping it in the bucket when the play is there and that is concerning. He called it "jitters", but you never want to hear your franchise QB say they have "the jitters"... they are supposed to be in the zone and have ice water in their veins. Although I love him for it, this is what I thought. Sometimes he plays like he's got ice in his veins, normally the more the game goes on but I've got the same concerns
  5. I'd love hester to return a punt in jeans.
  6. Just seen this. Week 4 Allen was very poor and yesterday as the game went on he was better than that time against the patriots, and he threw no picks. I agreed in another post that there is some progress in regards to that. On certain plays we can see the 'ceiling' point, usually really tough throws and moments like the TD to brown when he gets hit. Great plays. I also agree with Allen's own words that he almost needed to have a game like week 4, to make those mistakes and learn. You know what tho, week 4 was very bad but something about those picks dont bother me personally as much as early in yesterday's game. Problem I've got, the 'basement' I'm mentioning, reared it's head again (from the first pats game) yesterday.. Its when he looks like he cannot play the position for a few series. You know that thing that tends to happen with him when he is way off, missing short throws to an open Beasley and low to knox. Before you know it (playcalling probably doesn't help Hugely) the one throw is incomplete and we are 3 and out. Its JUST HOW OFF HE IS HERE. When people post here 'come on josh', '' you got to make that play josh', 'Geez josh, that's a simple nfl throw'..that is his basement, it just rears its head from time to time and those posters are RIGHT.
  7. Well put. If he gets the consistent touch on his throws is the way I would put it but I'm probably more glass half empty than full. ? It's fair to say that, he's a 'project QB' .
  8. You see I disagree with 'he is a big reason why' we are at 10 wins. He is not a big reason why. He is a part of it absolutely, at times he is a reason why but not in total. The accumulation of talent and depth, Coach motivation and the defence are a bigger reason as to why we are at 10 wins than Allen alone, generally speaking. True.
  9. Yeah. There's the overthrowing but also what I would describe as not seeing the game, flustered, jittery, intimidated. I do remember last year in green Bay was similar. He just looks a different player like a switch is turned.
  10. Antonio brown is the most obvious case of this narcissism.
  11. So you think Daboll is the issue generally as opposed to Allen? If that's so then you might be right. When there are open receivers on shorter throws and the QB doesn't hit them and throws inaccurately I find it hard then to put that blame on Daboll as he has schemed players open. The predictable playcalling yeah totally. Sure no problem
  12. You make an interesting criticism of my point about 10 more completions being 89 percentage, then finish the post eluding to the fact that I and others hate Allen because we are critical. I love allen but I am really disappointed with some of his play.
  13. I take your points, I do, but QB is still the most important position on your team. Show me an OC who gets criticism when their QB is playing well. The defence was disappointing.
  14. All of this I agree with. Dont let this blind you to accurate criticism of the QB though.
  15. No I agree with that. Allen should have hit it
  16. LOL A phrase from the film 'a few good men' comes to mind. ?
  17. For the record, I don't know that I'd say "most" QBs make those 2 throws. I would say, however, that Allen should have hit at least one of them. Though the play at the end I admit I'm okay with throwing that one over the top and safe; the thinking being that you've got 2 more chances. How was Josh supposed to know that the right side of the line would play turnstile on consecutive game-deciding plays? Play at the end by allen no one should criticize, he gave beasley a chance.
  18. Something is going on mentally with him that is affecting his technique. If you watch his presser he talks about having to sort this out. Haha or a wide open throw.
  19. What I will say is Allen looks like a different player when he has run calls built into the gameplan. So many of his good drives have one or two or his runs in them.
  20. I agree with all of these points. they could do these things. I think my concern is why Allen is so off. I'm sorry, but calling a couple of running plays to start the game shouldn't mean that the QBs arm is totally off on the first throws the QB has, know what I mean? . If we are always trying to make the QB comfortable to start the game then the opposition starts to know what we are doing more.
