What kind of reply is this? Someone yesterday at BBMB asked who the two Bills were on the banner for season tickets and I was looking for the Dareus picture they used. I went to Google Image search and typed in "Marcell Dareus Buffalo Bill" and they are all right there with the first few results... From those pics I drew the comparison to Sapp.

My bold/not-so-bold prediction is how ridiculous Dareus is going to be this year, easy pro-bowl and first or second team all-pro. The guy is the next Warren Sapp - they are very similar. The emotion and intensity that these big fellas play with is amazing! I thought Searcy played very well as a rookie and could possibly earn himself a starting spot on this defense in 2012. Florence has the best shot to start, and Kelsay could be expendable with Carrington and another draft pick. Oh, and although Merriman has a $4.0M base salary, I think $3.0M of that is guaranteed.

The Bears were supposed to be big players in the game for Mario Williams, but with the recent trade with the Miami Dolphins, Marshall is set to earn $9.3 million in salary for the 2012 season. The Bills need this deal done tonight because the Bears aren't the only suitors for Mario Williams.

I'm not getting excited just yet. No expectations = no disappointment. Not being negative, just stating the truth. Maybe after I get out of night class there will be some more news on this matter.

Who's it going to be? Will Dareus and Williams both play 3-tech inside? Will Kelsay jump back to defensive end, or will his tenure in Buffalo come to an end? Perhaps the Bills will draft another DE early to replace the aging Kelsay (Coples?). One man I think many people are forgetting about is the former 3rd round pick Alex Carrington. With Dareus and Williams probably both inside, where would former 2nd round pick Torell Troup fit into the mix, assuming he can come off his injuries and be a force. Would that allow Dareus or Williams to spend a little time playing 5-tech in certain packages. What do you all think about the defensive line depth when healthy? Dareus, Williams, Troup, Johnson, Carrington, Edwards and Kelsay.
