  1. I'm just gonna go ahead and say it... -Supporting cast on that 4-man front is going to be critical... I like Peko's energy... I think he can be coached into a mean D-tackle, and I think the vet, -Jordan Phillips will want his name mentioned in there too... The consistency of these players (Star and Harry included) will be key to EO doing what he's supposed to do... I'm also going to say that raw instinct will not be enough to carry Oliver... He'll have to be refined and educated by this coaching staff, -fashioning him into the weapon he's capable of being... I'm excited to see this defense, but I feel there's a whole lot more at stake here in 2019-'20.
  2. Wow.. You... Are not... Funny... I don't know WHO told you that you were... -But stop... Okay?... Just stop.
  3. Some great humor from #95! Relax. You told a tasteless joke that made you look creepy. stop blowing it outta proportion. -it's nbd.
  4. I cringe at the comparisons to Donald, and the expectations of replacing K-dub... It's such a high damn bar. -Too high... Yah, to most, Child molestation is a bfd... The fact that you think it's not tells me all I need to know about you... Great way to introduce yourself, bud!
  5. A lot of people don't find assaulting underage girls funny... Doesn't matter if it was R. Kelly or anyone else... The joke was lousy.
  6. Kyle back as an assistant coach seems like a good idea... Even if he's just one on one with Ed.
  7. Thanks Cripple for getting us all on the same page.... I wanted the dates confirmed as well. CAN'T WAIT.
  8. Did these kids not learn a thing from Ray "ruined career" Rice?
  9. When the **** is minicamp? -I am thirsty for some fresh-pressed process, baby!
  10. Let's not be coy... Chad could conceivably kill someone... -Either through intoxication, deliberate act, or gross negligence. You shouldn't want this kid anywhere near your football team.
  11. One wonders what it's going to take for Jim to let go...
  12. I'm expecting a breakout year for him at BC. -Stay tuned.
  13. Hating myself for liking this painfully slow, lumbering, kid... The annoying part is that I watched BC games because I liked the QB (Anthony Brown).... Trying to get a bead on his potential as a pro... Next thing you know, I notice that this oafish Sweeney kid can be elusive in certain spots, -take on anyone in blocking situations, -and has an insane catch radius... I don't want to believe he can play at this level, but Sweeney has surprised ( and Impressed) me before.
  14. Milano was my favorite out of the ones you mentioned. I thought he had great instincts at BC, and seemed to always, always be around the ball. -it was uncanny... From the beginning, I was skeptical of the others you mentioned, TBH. To answer your question, I had Kaden Smith higher than Knox, as well as Hakeem Butler... There were a few more I had ranked higher because of their versatility. -Drue Tranquill being one of them, but I gave Beane a pass because of Drue's injury history (maybe I shouldn't have)... There a several more, I could mention, but it doesn't matter now... The Die is cast, and we are eyeball-deep in Mcbeane's "process". -Like everyone else I'm just waiting to see the baby. Not even the mighty Beane is certain. As far as Singletary goes, I had Winovich, Damien Harris, and Miles Boykin ranked higher. -Way higher... But as someone else pointed out, I don't get paid to assess talent... -We'll see how those pan-out... Travis Homer was another kid I had a 4th-5th round grade on that I would have easily taken before Singletary... In my opinion, these are kids that have a good chance at excelling in the NFL, and helping teams win football games... Again, there's no point in any further hand-wringing. The die is cast. -I'm just answering your questions.
  15. If there's any truth to this process spiel, ten wins is more than reasonable to expect... TBH, 11 wins would let me know that all my skepticism was unwarranted. Also, McBeane's draft picks have to make strides... If there really was a plan for taking these kids, It'd be nice to see it in action...
  16. I'm glad they both ended up where they did, and on a purely human level I'm happy for the kids. That's the bottom line... The groceries have been bought, and now we anxiously await the meal. ( As Bill Parcells might say.)
