We were 30th in points per field goal attempt too... That's another stat that hurt more than some may realize... Look, the FLOOR isn't the goal when it comes to passing in the modern NFL... Anyone arguing against change in that regard has simply given up on our QB situation...

We were also dead last on completions per game... NE was #6... And on the bottom when It came to passing yards whereas NE was #4... But go ahead and make your argument in defense of dead last... I'm actually enjoying it.

Except that's not what happened... All the offense did was "gift" terrible field position to a defense that struggled with GOOD field position... And if by "controlling the clock" you mean limiting their own scoring opportunities, then yah, that's exactly what they did.

Alot of them went into Taylor Savings & Loan... Well, mostly SAVINGS... That's where Tightwad keeps all the wide open guys he didn't hit, and all the plays he left on the field because he was scared to throw. Yah... guys were hurt... The WR corp. was weak.... Still, there were many opportunities TT let sail by... This year's schedule offers little in the way of forgiveness for such mistakes. Bottom line? -Ball's gotta fly in '17. or we CRY in '17... -AGAIN!

Praising our run game was part of the original post... Perhaps you should read it .. The problem with the run when you have a LOUSY D, is that you can't keep pace with your opponents scoring... even if you have a middle of the pack defense, the run game shouldn't be your mainstay. Get the TE's involved so you can move the chains and score in different ways... I don't see this offense making any strides if the starter doesn't at least TRY to chuck the ball downfield.

Scanning available stats, I found many areas where the Bills did well... Rushing stats were phenomenal... Believe it or not, Many of our stats ranged from good to middle of the pack Except one. While Deuce doesn't exactly have a RAG arm, Cardale has the most powerful arm on the roster hands-down... Now if we could just pour some focus into that power.

It's Amazing how many people here thought we should keep Fitz after leading the league in interceptions, and being an all-around CRAP QB for three years... Sure, I like what Peterman brings, but he never even came close to winning a national championship in college.. AND, he's a kid who got ran out of town at his first D1 stop...I try to forget that it was by Josh Dobbs.. -A college QB who, IMO, couldn't hold Cardale's jock... Admit it. -Since 1999, both Bills fans AND staff have been TERRIBLE at assessing QB talent... The ONLY thing that MIGHT save McDoomed is a departure from the status quo "he gives us the best chance to win" bullcrap.... Cardale's arm talent gives him as good a chance as any QB we've got, -but he has to make the most of his shot.

Everyone who thought "Cardale wasn't ready" is FIRED! That, to me, says a lot...

This game is an arms race... If you don't have the biggest and baddest athletes come Sunday, you're wasting time... Guys like Maclin, and Decker (if healthy) represent the help we NEED to win games... FTR, I understand the hesitation... I just don't agree with it.
