  1. This will be the NFL Films version, and is reported to be a great summary of the game, if you like the Bills anyway. Does anyone have a DVD version of THIS show? I have the original Comeback on DVD, but this sounds like a keeper, too. I hope you plan on posting your pics, D !
  2. The pick up list is rather sparse; I did not really see any big hitters out there. take 1 A different take Anyone on the current Bills roster you would like to see get cut?
  3. Nah, I behave myself most of the time. Honest! Had the grandkids over Sunday and was teaching them how to walk on stilts. These are the same stilts I made for their Mom, <ahem> a couple years ago. I made two sets. The beginner stilts are only about eight inches off the ground. My stilts are between two to three feet. You should see me walking on stilts after a few LaBatts. Your plunger remark reminds me: HIDE THE TENNIS BALLS!
  4. Glad I could be of help!
  5. Tiny Tim played a mean ukulele.
  6. Happy day to buckeyemike and nero47 too!
  7. I just updated my profile; it used to be on the calendar. I am working today but taking a three day weekend. At 5 o'clock, I will be on my way to the Merchants Grill for a few cold ones. Then my wife, 3 of my 4 kids, and 5 grandkids are coming over for a BBQ. AND the sun is shining too!
  8. Go to Blockbuster and rent The Money Pit. Good luck! My first house was a shack I bought for $4,000 (yes you are reading that correctly). Two rooms and an out house. I added 4 more rooms (removed the out house) and sold it seven years later for $14,000. I broke even. The next house I bought in the city (Rochacha) and sold four years later for a gain of $16K - not shabby. The third house I stayed in for about 15 years. To honest, I lost money on all that I put into it, but enjoyed living there. My current house I have easily sunk $20K into over the last 5 years, but it was very well spent. When I go to sell it one day, I am sure I will have a small gain over investment, but the quality of life that accompanies the house cannot be priced. Now stop reading and go pack or I am telling your wife!
  9. With a broadcast from the city of Bangkok, and one of the judges being a Thailander, former Miss Universe Porntip Nakhirunkanok Simon, I don't think they should B word too much about the Aussie's pasted on gown.
  10. Is that what you are wearing to this year's tailgate?
  11. Ever drive on the QEW from Toronto to Niagara Falls? Oh yeah, Canada is in America too. It's a jerkoff thing. I might have slowed to 50mph to let them get a long way ahead of me. People like that are scary. Like playing with fire. That's why there are hand guns!
  12. Congrats, you old fArt in RTP.
  13. Does wifey have balls? If so, you have bigger problems than poison ivy!
  14. No need to keep them in suspense... R-E-C-T-A-L
  15. My son in law is a landscaper, I will ask him and get back to you.
  16. We had a good time. I would have thought one of the others would have commented by now. It was me, Dan Gross, BRH, and Todd. Everything was a little "off" today but the plates were good. I got there right at noon, and Todd and Bernie were already eating. So I went to order, but did not get served by our usual noodle-haired counter girl. Our usual table was already taken, so I further broke tradition and had the Italian sausage and cheese plate (sorry, RR). Conversation ranged from Bills to family to crazy threads on the wall. Dan started a Gross conversation that I will not comment on.
  17. Whe I coached Little League, three of us were coaches (well a manager and two coaches) and each had a son on the team. Rule #1 was keep your mouth shut when YOUR son was at the plate, or dropped a ball, was counting daisies in the outfield, etc. It was OK to cheer if they did something well, though.
  18. It is not just lately, I coached Little League 20 years ago and I was throwing parents off the field. In fact, when I played in Little League (a little over 20 years ago) I remember we won a championship game because parents contested a game. Seems like a pitcher on the other team had pitched maybe 2 or 3 innings more in a week than the rules allowed, so they were disqualified. Parents were hollering and swearing at each other. Gee, made that trophy SO special.
  19. You and Psycho have fun in Erie! Be safe. Rock
  20. Here is Arnold Palmer's take on child athletes and professional sports from an article by Mike Doser. Under Pressure
  21. yes they are... take deep breaths.
  22. "maybe", upgraded to "likely" upgraded to "should"... are we afraid of commitments?
  23. <bump> for roll call for today's WNYTBDGPS Around noon at Tahoes on Main St. I am drinking lots of fluids to prevent afternoon caramelization.
  24. Besides, Main Street has ambiance. I usually have my plate with a nice Australian Shiraz!
