  1. The Hamlin choice was weird. It's almost like McDermott though they were in a movie or something.
  2. I, like everyone else, thought San Francisco was the class of the league and possibly destined for the SB. They are drowning right now. Lamar Jackson just had a Tyrod Tayor game. If we can hurdle the Chiefs, the world is ours, man.
  3. That video reminded me to put things into perspective when I complain about the current iteration of the Bills. I love Moorman, but it was still a sad time when our punter was one of the most beloved members of the team.
  4. Anytime Lamar runs into a coach in the postseason who has any defensive acumen, he turns into a poor man's Tyrod Taylor. He's not as good as Allen, Burrow, or Mahomes, for sure, and I don't think as good as A- guys like Herbert and Hurts either.
  5. Dale Carter, a forgotten great 1990's DB.
  6. This is nonsense. This team had tons of support when they didn't make the playoffs for almost two decades. Being a loyal fan doesn't mean you have to be a homer doofus who never criticizes anything.
  7. The self-loathing nerds who comprise a lot of the media hate Allen because he reminds them of the guy in high school who dated the girls they had crushes on but never had a chance with. Most of the former players give him his due, outside a few of the black guys who openly hate every white QB (e.g. Dominique Foxworth).
  8. And the Colts and Eagles lobbied for it that year, not the Bills.
  9. The Bills did not lobby for that rule change. The Chiefs did, however, after losing to NE in overtime in 2018.
  10. Would've liked to see him get a chance in short-yardage situations a few times. Their version of the tush push is predictable as hell (Allen always goes left), and it's clear they've gone to the well one too many times there.
  11. In the NBA back during the David Stern years, they always had a specific ref - Dick Bavetta - work playoff games where a series needed to be extended to make it more competitive and/or a big-market team needed a boost to stay alive or advance. I have a feeling that a Hochuli would be a big-time company man and oblige such a request if, say, Goodell wanted to ensure that the most famous woman on earth attended the Super Bowl.
  12. I really wish he'd cut that out. It's not only incredibly lame, it's completely beneath him given how tough a player he is.
  13. Not a ton of reasons to go for two there, even at the one...I guess if you get it, you can give up a FG and still be within a score?
  14. Tough to remember a team that looked better through Thanksgiving collapse like Philly has.

Correct - no team has the balls to give a guy who was railroaded a shot because they're too scared of dealing with one day of Twitter faux outrage.
  16. Shakir going to get chewed out by McDermott for ruining that obvious effort to play it safe and just try a FG
  17. They do not play aggressively on plays where the offense needs big yardage. McDermott always plays not to lose.
  18. I would be pretty raw too if I just came to the realization that they only way my team could ever get to the Super Bowl is if they get home field advantage because they couldn't play outdoors past Thanksgiving.
  19. Every player on this team with a ring (there's like five total) was not a Bill until this season, except Miller. He obviously is the only one who was Super Bowl MVP. Scratching him so we can dress guys like Harty seems insane to me, but I'm not the one watching them in practice either.
  20. Sitting Miller in what is likely the biggest game in Bills regular season history would be a bad move. If anything, he provides a calming veteran presence for a team that is notorious for getting a little bewildered during stressful moments.
  21. Yeah, the Chiefs loss, where they gave up 17 points after the two minute warning, including the tying score after they went ahead with 13 seconds left, wasn't that bad at all. It wasted the greatest postseason a QB ever had and probably cost them a Super Bowl title, but it's okay because they were playing a #2 seed.
  22. I noticed through your sarcasm that you conveniently didn't mention the annual meltdown in January.
  23. This team doesn't absolutely nothing imaginative on offense, so we can probably expect that shotgun RB draw to be run over and over again for 3.2 YPC.
