Fewell did win a SB with the Giants running that defense a couple of years ago. I believe the Coordinators and Position coaches are considered at the same level. A position coach moving to a Coordinator role on another team is considered a lateral move.

Didn't Wade make Mario move to OLB in the one season he played in that defense. I thought Mario did not like that. Phillips requires a big wide bodied Nose Tackle to make his defense successful. We do not have a Mt.Washington on this roster.

+1. Kiko missed too many plays in the 2nd half. His 4 INT were all in the 1st quarter of the season.

+1 The only bad part is that some good DC like Horton have already been signed up by new coaching staff around the NFL. Marrone would have to dig deep into the pool to get a good coordinator. I hope he does not go after another buddy from his past.

Kiko's play diminished in the 2nd half of the season. Not sure the reason.

And yet our Run-Defense SUCKED!

We need to draft Ebron the big and fast TE. He is a playmaker and a difference maker on this offense. Bringing in Evans would almost be an end for Stevie

And to be fair, Tom Brady has not had much success throwing to the likes of Edleman and Dobson.....Brady has had a pretty average season this year. Their running game has simply kicked into a different gear.

And the injury factor. Both our RBs are injury prone and are likely to miss games over a 16 game season. I am surprised that no one wants a new TE who can be a strong red zone target.

I think Matt Schaub would be an excellent #2. He could even compete with EJ for the starting gig.

I think Marrone has always said about how his entire 80 man roster should compete for a starting spot. His "Next Man Up" philosophy is no different. Where Marrone erred is in having too much confidence in a player like Tuel or Rogers when the starters went down. They simply could not take on the starting role.

The bills should give another year for EJ, but at the same time draft a QB in the 3rd or 4th round and develop him. They should NOT draft one in the 7th round or UDFA and hope he will become a star. +1. Statistics always do not tell the whole tale.

And he would know how to effectively use Spiller and Jackson. Norv has had great success as an OC in Dallas, Washington, Miami, 49ers, San Diego.

Carrington was average before he got hurt. While he was given all the opportunity, he blew it. Hughes has taken over and played extremely well. Good Bye Kyle. Hairston is also done. Stevie - I think the Bills need to move on. They can draft a new WR.

Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if PIT makes it.....They have Cleveland @ Home..That is a sure win for them to take them to 8-8. Baltimore has to play the Bengals have been dominant @ home and can take care of the Ravens. Plus, the Bengals are playing for that 2nd seed and a bye. Dolphins play home to the Jets. The Jets are possibly playing their last game for Rex Ryan. If that is the case, they will go all out one last time for him...Plus the Dolphins laid a huge egg in WNY last week. The final game is Chiefs @ Chargers. The Chargers have been good at home and the Chiefs have been pathetic on the road. I think the stars are aligned for the Steelers. I believe the last spot is going to the Steelers or the Chargers.

The question is that can they play at that same level on a consistent basis.

I think Hughes has already replaced him as the Pass Rusher. I don't think the Bills will sign Carrington. The question is: How long has Hughes been signed.

There are many ways this team could have won TWO more games.....The WRs fumbled against the Falcons; The defense could not stop some of the teams on 3rd and longs which could have then iced the game; we could have beat Cleveland if Manuel did not get injured. We could have clobbered the Chiefs if not for a 14-point swing. THe bills cannot be faulted for letting Levitre go....They MUST be faulted for not finding a suitable replacement.

What is their ranking on # of points allowed.. That is the best indicator of this defense, especially when it has to help an offense bringing in a oft-injured rookie QB

On the flip side, they would have to figure out how to eliminate giving up consistently big plays on defense and their inability to get off on 3rd and long. The defense is also yet to figure out stopping the run *consistently*. They have given up 100 yard games to 3rd and 4th stringers and to teams that were @ the bottom rushing the football.

And the Bills will add more dead money, if they chose to cut/trade Stevie Johnson.

Yup...I think Miami and the Steelers benefited from everything that happened yesterday. With Baltimore's loss, both Miami and Steelers have come back alive. I believe if Miami wins,they are in as the 6th seed.

They need to figure out how to get off the field on 3rd and long. They did it yesterday. Hopefully, they will make that a consistent habit.
