They grew up in a more gentlemanly time. Back in the days of the old Rockpile, football fans could handle their alcohol responsibly. So responsibly in fact that you could bring kegs into the stadium and no one was ever over served. Fans drank so responsibly that they would often toss full or partial cans and bottles of beer onto the playing field to avoid getting too drunk. That's how responsible people were back then. The boorish behavior that we witness today was a thing known only to the lowly minorities, which is why the greatest generation had the foresight not to let them use the same bathrooms as us polite folk. Those were the good old days when people knew how to behave.

I thought the name was stupid when this phenomenon started but the fact that its still around and the way the players have embraced the movement lends some legitimacy. As far as the public image and perception of Bills fans due to these antics, in my anecdotal experience its been largely positive. I now live out of state now in the heart of football country and my colleagues, who all attended schools with major NCAA football programs, tell me that they would love to go to a Bills tailgate and witness this madness.

I believe that constitutes a violation of Buffalo Man's parole. Creepy.

By my tally, 9 times out of 10 the players you love go on to undrafted free agency before a career in insurance sales. Then there are the difference makers that we released that you pounded the table for like Dorin Dickerson and Brandon Kaufmann.

Honestly, I'm kinda relieved. Maclin is a good player but I just don't see how he fits here. Were the Bills going to totally change everything and rebuild around Maclin's needs? I mean, the guy has AIDS so you either build him a separate bathroom or hes got to carry around his own toilet seat. What do you do on the bus or long plane rides? Its a logistical nightmare and all for just one guy.

If we are going to sign Maclin, then they need to add strong vice language to his contract. The guy has a history of questionable behavior. He will command some serious cash and we should have the right to walk away for free if he goes out and gets AIDS again.

Crazy talk. Lots of athletes are tested for CTE while they are alive. The NFLPA consented to CTE testing during the last CBA, FYI.

I hope they tested him for CTE. Hes a vet and taken some big hits. I have no idea why more teams aren't testing free agents and draft eligible players for CTE as part of the physical.
