Bills submit rule proposal change on interviews
Jauronimo replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This Terry and Kim saying it was completely unfair that they missed out on two 3rd round draft picks because Leslie didn't have enough time to interview prep and game plan. -
Ristolainen is the best defenseman on the team and Mitts is actually looking like an NHL player these days.

What was Dahlin doing on the first goal against? Trying to draw the eventual goal scorer soccer Offside?

Texans coaching staff on Watt - bitter or truthful?

How anyone pinned their hopes that he was signing with Buffalo on tweets like that and now feels jilted is beyond me. -
Texans coaching staff on Watt - bitter or truthful?
Jauronimo replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The tweets were only vague to the people desperately trying to interpret them as a clue to where he was going to sign. There is a strong possibility that those tweets had nothing to do with his free agency. -

How in the world did he string fans along? -
Just wait until he starts drawing comparisons between Skinner and some third world despot...

Yet revenues increased in 2020 and 2021 is projected to be their best year by the analysts who follow them. Weird. Are you suggesting that having no more tax credits like the ones that have supported their bottom line the past 2 years and actually having to PAY $1 billion in taxes this year was a result of "Woke Politics"? Pretty much every time I see a post like this trying to connect some corporate release that ruffled some feathers amongst the fragile anti-woke warriors and company performance it is just pure bull####. Gillette, Nike, no Twitter. A cursory amount of research completely unravels the narrative but people still swallow it hook line and sinker every time it gets posted.

Notable Nexflix / Amazon / Premium Channel Series & Movies
Jauronimo replied to Heitz's topic in Off the Wall
New Netflix movie I Care A Lot was a fun watch. I thought it was highly original. White Tiger was also a solid Netflix original. Netflix normally tries to check off as many boxes as possible with their story lines but the two listed above were focused cohesive films. -
The stock market is not the economy. Generationally low interest rates and cheap debt is not sustainable forever.

Texans coaching staff on Watt - bitter or truthful?
Jauronimo replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would have believed this more a few years ago. He has been called out for freelancing a number of times. Particularly in 2015 or 2016 I think when the Texans D got off to a very poor start. I've seen criticisms since that he abandons the playbook to rush the passer and as a result the Texans get scorched against the run. -
Someone needs to scream at Dahlin because in two consecutive games he has stepped up to make a hit or pinched at terrible times and given up odd man rushes the other way resulting in goals. Eichel is no position to criticize since his dog**** effort gift wrapped the goal last night as he didn't even attempt to tie up his man. Eichel's line was completely ineffective all night except for one or two shifts with Skinner in place of Oloffson. EVERY COACH AND GM HAS A PROCESS!!!! Having a process =/= success. Executing the plan is another matter. If Hall, Montour, and Okposo had the skill to convert on an empty net the discussion might be different today but as it stands this team is no different than the Sabres we watched the past 4 years. Allergic to goals.

Few thoughts about last night's game. - Ullmark has been playing great hockey. That series of saves in the first period where he ultimately hurt himself was just insane. Get well soon, Linus. - Hall can't buy a goal. Pegula's could give him a blank check and he still couldn't buy a goal. Breakaway and 2 point blank chances in the first period with nothing to show for it. Need to bury these if we are going to win games this year. - Sheahan has as many goals as Eichel now after one game on top line. Maybe when Eichel comes back he can play on 4th line with Skinner? - Mittelstadt looks like an NHL player AGAIN!! Sick feed to Okposo who blew it and Casey finally buries one himself. Goodbye Rochester. - This game has actually been entertaining! If you're going to suck at least be entertaining and generate chances, score a few goals. This was 3 consecutive solid outings by my count. - This team plays far less confidently in front of Hutton. From the start of the second period the difference in demeanor was noticeable. - Hutton could not have been farther out of position on the 2nd goal allowed if he tried. - Classic Hutton, losing his composure after giving up a goal. - Hutton sucks - Hutton sucks - Hutton sucks!

It really loses its zing in text, doesn't it.

The whole lineup is confusing. Tage is either a first liner or a healthy scratch. Skinner can't crack the lineup on a team that cannot score. Who knows whats going on with Skinner and Ralph?

My take on a fancy thit kho. Sous vide pork shoulder, seared and tossed in a vietnamese caramel sauce served over rice with a marinated "ramen style" soft boiled egg and pickled red onions. Fried shallots for garnish.

Eichel is in the top 10 right now for 'posts per 60 minutes'. The amount of pipe the Sabres are hitting is comical at this point.

Trade up or trade back in this year’s draft?
Jauronimo replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly right. If there is no one worth drafting when your pick is up then find someone who wants to move up the board to select no one good and move back in the draft. But if there is someone you love on the board then you should always move up to get them and its generally impolite for teams to deny your trade request. The only thing we cannot afford to do is stand pat and select a guy with the 30th pick unless that guy is someone we really like. In conclusion always trade back unless you should trade up and never stay in your slot unless its a good idea. -
Trade up or trade back in this year’s draft?
Jauronimo replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I love the philosophical trade up or trade down discussion we have every year as if you can possibly answer this question without the context of who is on the board. -
Skinner isn't playing within Ralph's system and still floats around in the defensive zone waiting for a fast break opportunity. He hasn't buried any of his many chances either. I don't know what to make of Skinner right now. He looks slow out there compared to the guy I remember his first year with the team who was buzzing all over the ice. I kinda think he showed up out of shape and not prepared to play. Maybe I'm just remembering things wrong.
