  1. Just stop punting. I like it! Cut Moorman and Easley too! Now will you have enough room for your third string guard?
  2. I totally agree with this point. I would expect Dixon to be capable of playing the way Webb did last night. Even if he seems behind in practice, couldn't hurt to have him take control for the 4th quarter of a preseason game - just to be sure, right?
  3. At first I thought it was a little weird. For whatever reason, I thought we had more players who were great at PR in college. Of the players who will probably make the team (TJ is on the bubble, obviously), I broke down the guys who excelled at punt returning in college: TJ GRAHAM - 66 RET, 628 YDS, 9.5 AVG, 2 TDS LEODIS MCKELVIN - 112 RET, 1471 YDS, 13.1 AVG 7 TDS* NICKELL ROBEY - 20 RET, 208 YDS, 10.4 AVG, 0 TDS DANORRIS SEARCY - 36 RET, 463 YDS, 12.9 AVG, 1 TDS CJ SPILLER - 53 RET, 569 YDS, 10.7 AVG, 1 TDS *4th all-time career PR TDs in NCAA history Robey definitely passed the eyeball test last night (outside of the muff, which is alarming), and looking at these numbers I think he's a safe option if we need to sub in for Leodis.
  4. The pick by Tuel in the end zone in the KC game was the perfect example of why we should never want to see this guy in a real game.
  5. Derek Anderson lobbing a pass 5 yards deep into the end zone...Gilmore should probably get a hand on that thing, right? It wasn't exactly a bullet or a well placed pass. Sometimes you can't just chase the guy. Gotta defend the pass as well.
  6. I don't hate that pass there to Chandler. He broke on that pattern so slowly.
  7. That was an ugly screen for the O-Line.
  8. Good to know we've improved our short yardage run play calls. Maybe we don't want to show our real hand here? Even if that's so, I'd like to have EJ getting reps throwing on third and 4th there for the experience.
  9. Well yeah. That's funny, ironic, etc. I'm in the market for a Mia Hamm jersey if you've got one. Wearing a Watkins jersey is unacceptable (unless you're a kid, if you're a kid you can do whatever you want - because you're a kid). Basically, there are a few jersey rules you must follow as a fan: 1) You can't wear a jersey of a team that you're not a fan of 2) You can't wear a jersey of a team from another city, if you were born in a city with a team 3) You can't wear a jersey of an all-star because he's an all-star (I call these "Christmas Jersey" fans) 4) You can't wear a jersey of a team in your city in a different sport (unless it's an authentic Buffalo Braves Jersey) 5a) You can't wear a jersey of a player who is younger than you, unless: 5b) The jersey is of someone insignificant/ironic 6) Rare jerseys are encouraged 7) Defunct teams are excluded from rule 2 Also, I realize my rules are potentially hypocritical, and they might be, but I'm going to stand by them because they're my rules. Gross. I mean, yeah.. I do constantly. I'm probably a beta male.
  10. Don't you guys find it a little weird wearing another man's name on the back? It always looks like you're idolizing someone years younger than you, and in my opinion sends off weird beta-male vibes. Maybe just buy a team colored shirt and hat.
  11. The only thing you represent is someone that did not take the proper time to learn music theory, a musical instrument or any musical modification software. This anthem is shameful, and as someone that's spent a lot of time improving and working in music, I find it insulting that you could make this and try and promote it on this website and be snarky with feedback. Art is subjective and you are absolutely free to be creative and create art at your will. You should enjoy doing it as well. Those liberties do not extend to posting your music in a thread and responding to negative posts with attitude.
  12. Way to be a transparent person here. You know, it's bad enough that there's nothing redeeming about this "anthem", but false ego like that isn't going to help me defend your "attempt" at destroying my generation's reputation. And another thing... It might help if you look into music theory before "producing" music and trying to sell it.
  13. I usually dislike people that don't spend their money the way that I selfishly want them to spend their money. RIGHT ??
  14. When the hot topic on the forum is Announcer Ratings, you know it's going to be a looooong offseason.
  15. Dan Dierdof made the top ten. This list is credible.
  16. Wait...do you guys seriously watch sports news?
  17. We hired Schwartz. We did not trade for Suh.
  18. We play them at home. I also don't know where to put the blame on the lack of run support. We've been pretty poor at it for a bunch of years, and the only consistency over that time is that we've been overall weak at the linebacker position.
  19. Where are our journalists on this one? Not saying the Bills will tip their hat, but anyone with inside knowledge? Also, if we keep it close to the vest, then just end up promoting Henderson... will the journalists ask any questions, bring up stats (like Wade Phillips' ridiculously good top 10 D history, or Donnie Henderson's ridiculously sparse and underwhelming D history?), or challenge these guys? If we go with a lame crony-type hire, I'm really going to be deflated after this. With our defensive personnel, losing Pettine, and replacing him with a guy like Henderson will pretty much be all but giving up in my opinion.
  20. Care to change your username then? Seems like you were once two games less pessimistic.
  21. Very astute of you.
