I am torn. I have thought for a while now that EJ may have #1 locked up. The reason we have been seeing Taylor and Cassel is they are trying to determine if they keep them both and if so what the pecking order looks like. In a perfect world from the Salary cap perspective, EJ starts, Tyrod backs him up and Cassel gets cut. Because while I have been leaning towards EJ starting, you cannot keep Cassel and Tyrod both. Whoever is the three would be pissed in that scenario.

I said "Quality". I don't think anyone would consider Brad Johnson quality. Defense won that game in addition to the Raiders throwing it. As for Cal QB's before Rodgers? Craig Morton, Steve Bartkowski, and Boller. Boller maybe not so much quality. Had some good years in Baltimore. Still better than any bust FSU has produced recently.

He gets a solid B grade from me. Add a QB and it's an A, strong A at that. Tom Donawhore Marv Levy Russ Brandon Buddy Nix I would probably shoot myself if I had to endure another run like that. I give Buddy props too. He started from literally nothing and he was the one who got Whaley on staff. Whaley is the best thing to happen to this team in a long, long time.

I live in the land of cheese and large women. The Packers are a distant second to my Bills, but I do follow them and go to Packer games every once in awhile. Badgers are my college team for sure.

Personally, I thought that article had a refreshing tone for a BN piece. I am looking forward to reading more of Tyler as the season goes on.

They did not come out and say either way Yolo. He said he was done at the end of this month and headed to Buffalo after the 4th. So I would expect him to be there.

They are interviewing Ty on local sports radio here in Madison today about his move to Buffalo. I thought his writing was good before, but after listening to him today--he is going to be great to have around. He is on the ball with where the Bills are at currently and talking about how we are on an upswing and appear headed for good things. Mentioned he is looking forward to covering Rex Ryan after McCarthy, quite the contrast in styles. Radio host talking about how much more snow Buffalo gets than Milwaukee. Blah Blah. Some good info on Packers too. Love the fact that they were talking Bills on radio today, special treat for me.

It was getting Nix back. We were a laughing stock before he came back. When Buddy came back Ralph pretty much exited stage left, my guess is that Buddy being around as long as he had would not have taken the job unless he had the autonomy to do what he saw fit. Barring him getting catfished on the phone call, it has been a very well ran ship since.

Buddy without a doubt laid the foundation. I think he did a great job. Was he perfect? By no means. I liked his candor and the way he went about his business. To those who say he ignored the QB, in my opinion you do not build a championship team by drafting a stud qb and then getting the rest of the pieces after the fact. You build from the inside out. Then you get your QB. Ryan Fitzpatrick's one great season probably had a lot to do with us not getting a QB prior to Manuel.
