As much as it hurts to say Jackson has been great this year at his passing and decision making. But that erratic Lamar is still there somewhere and if we can put some pressure on him by being up by a few points and no pressure release with Henry, we can win this game!
The perfect scenario is the Bills getting up in this game and Lamar entering panic mode and having to abandon Henry to start passing . A rattled Lamar trying to play hero ball and throwing erratically in a playoff game has happened before. Now add in the incredibly cold conditions and we might really have an advantage here. Lets hope so.
I thought Rex would be a good hire. He had beat the Pats in the playoffs. His resume was decent and most importantly, I thought Rex would bring some gravitas to the franchise that had at that stage become a place that nobody wanted to play for. He ended up being an absolute joke. From his disorganized playcalling and clueless in game decisions to hiring his useless brother and having that team preacher giving him advice on the sideline. He titillated us with ending the playoff drought but in the end failed miserably.
Even Romo has been muzzled in his criticism of the refs. In his first season, Romo was great for telling it like it is when the officials blew it, but obviously he was spoken to. Brady was probably warned before he started.
The fake was a huge gaffe and the only reason it came about is because we got no pressure whatsoever on the kicker. We havent blocked a punt in a while and we have no KO return TDS or Punt return Tds. The STs today, despite the fake and the punt to the one were ok today. Its unfortunate though that they dont really help us but often hurt us.
The percentage of times that the opposing team gets a big play after McD calls a defensive Timeout has to be like 80%. I cannot understand how a DC and McD cannot dial up a good defensive play in that situation? Just ridiculous!
