  1. Yeah. 238 is Sideline club isn't it?
  2. Trying to find out if any of you guys that bave Van Miller Sideline Club seats use a particular secondary market for games you can't attend...StubHub or Ticket Exchange?? Probably sell for a loss I assume but if I can't make a few games I'll have to sell some. Also wondering how you like the atmosphere, seats, views, etc. Tried to open up eball's 2014 thread but it wouldn't let me.
  3. LOL. I got over a 200. I did sign my name....and I knew what the " 2/5ths Compromise " was.
  4. So I decided to get season tix today (haven't had them since 2013 and before). I never took advantage of the "secondary market" before. Do you guys have any preferred method for selling games that you can't attend? Looks like TicketExchange is the "authorized" dealer by NFL but what about StubHub, etc? I'll probably get to 4 games this year so I'm wondering if anyone has any thoughts on ways to maximize re-sale so I can build up a credit in my account for next year. Thanks
  5. Who is the dumb ass police officer who decided to keep the knife and frame it for his wall?? What an ass!!!!!
  6. Looking back at my SAT scores, I'm surprised I was accepted at all.
  7. I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were part of the "inner circle" back then. Can you provide me with any proof that Marrone wasn't treated unfairly? Let me ask you this: If everything was butterflies and daisies at One Bills Drive back in November 2014, why did he choose to go elsewhere? Answer: He was treated poorly and opted to try and find a place where he was loved. Once again, OBD bit the hand of the master who brought us a winning season. #smh
  8. Yes!!! See? You may come around to appreciate his little quirks as much as I do. #secondchances
  9. Thank God! We need to give every child an even playing field; the only way to do that is to bring the standard down to the level of the least intelligent.
  10. I was hurt back then. I'm a changed man now. I think I really feel a connection to Doug and Adam now.
  11. No, did Gruden? Did Cowher? Did Saban? Did Ditka? How about Chuck Knox? What's your point?
  12. Thank you for seeing my point. An employer can make things so unbearable for an employee that the employee has no other option than to walk away. That is precisely what happened in this case. I can only imagine what would have taken place if Marrone held the reigns last year. #fireworks
  13. That's funny...I thought the team quit on him (refer to: "he's too strict!! waaaaaa", the Raiders game, infighting between Russ and Doug during the pre-Pegula power struggle, etc.). You think a guy with Marrone's credentials is just going to sit back and wait for everyone to take blame themselves for failures clearly attributable to management or the players themselves. He was kicked out the door basically by the "piss poor" attitudes of the players (Orton was comatose half the season) and the front office (Russ was figuring out what the unit cost of white towels made in Ethiopia vs Bangladesh was for the annual "White Out" game). Marrone had no support and to say he "quit" on his team is similar to a coyote walking away from a stripped deer carcass...there was nothing left on the bone.
  14. I always liked Marrone and what he brought to this team. As Schefter said, Marrone is a highly coveted head coaching candidate and I can see a few teams putting him at the top of their list if their current head coach starts off with a few losses. He brings discipline, intelligence and experience as a head coach with great successes in his past. Not sure why you guys beat him up so bad all the time. Schefter is usually spot on in his analysis of front office sentiment and, in this case, the majority of GM's around the league would jump at the chance to bring Marrone into the fold.
  15. $50 says the girlfriend did it and staged it as an accident.
  16. I guess it depends if you are a "strict constructionist" or a "soft constructionist" (Thanks for serving.)
  17. If you take a detailed look at the Constitution, the separation of powers clearly vest military power with the President..."The President shall be commander in chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the militia of the several states, when called into the actual service of the United States". Interestingly, though, the Constitution does not grant military powers with regard to the Marines, the Coast Guard or the Army Corps of Engineers. So really, he can kick ass with the Army and the Navy, but he can't tell the Marines, the Army Corps of Engineers or the guys in the speed boats what to do. My understanding is the President is a veteran of the Army and Navy...but not for the other branches like the Marines, Army Corps of Engineers, the Coast Guard or the Postal Service.
  18. Like referenced above by someone, Pegula is a millionaire and doesn't want to appear pushy or overbearing. So assuming he does have the extra 27 million that the league allows, he can trickle it into players with pool tables, gourmet lunches in the cafeteria and Evian waters instead of Mayer Brothers or Wegmans. See, those are just small examples of how he can re-work the cap without technically violating the 155 cap and the 27 million soft luxury use tax. Another option: put more starters on the practice squad. They don't count toward the cap so we could stockpile players on the practice squad and when we need them, deliver a few backpacks of cash and call them up. No cap money to report and they don't get injured as often.
  19. Try horniness or thirst for beer...it might work.Tom - tried sending you a message but you haven't authorized idiots like me. #rejected
  20. The menstrual cycle is a hormonal and biological phenomenon. A guy's horniness or thirst for beer is equally hormonal or, at a minimum, a byproduct of genetic forces that preoccupy his mind to the point where he is unable to engage in constructive work. I will need 20 days off per month.
  21. So glad you guys are having a chuckle at my expense..but the fact remains, we have a 27 million soft luxury user tax that Pegula hasn't even thought to use yet. Who the hell is manning the ship over there?
  22. So if the top 51 is a moving target, then it fluctuates....doesn't sound like a hard cap at all.
  23. That's what I was saying. Use the extra 27 million after you use up the 155 million. Why is this so hard to comprehend. I guess the extra 27 million is the luxury tax component?
  24. So the cap is 155.27 million...what you're saying is, once they spend 155 million, they have an extra 27 million to throw at other players including rookies and losses to injury? It makes sense to have that extra 27 million in case a guy sustains an ACL in Sept. I guess.
