  1. I'd call you an idiot but that would be in bad taste (and would infringe on someone's copyright).
  2. That's Mr. Clown to you. LOL. I haven't seen you on OTW and I miss our MNF threads with San Jose. You're a good egg NS and always have interesting football comments. Now stay in OTW for the offseason damn it. LOL. Have you even read some of the earth shattering commentary posted by yours truly?? You are missing out. Please refer to the "Insult the Previous Poster" thread and "Worlds Longest Run On Sentence". I rest my case. So what are you saying?
  3. I thank you for your comments and look forward to providing you with another 10,000 valuable posts which you may use in your day to day life.
  4. Now that is a proper congratulatory message. I challenge any one of these posers above to find one single post in my history that is not profound, intelligent, and straightforward in football analysis or life lessons.
  5. Every one of my posts has been smart, cutting edge, directly on point and relevant to the discussion at hand. 10,000 valuable posts and I get nothing?? Let me feel the love.
  6. Smart deer staying out of PA....Cletus would have that thing shot, skinned out and quartered in no time.
  7. How is this even a crime?? The "victims" have to see something for it to be a violation. There is no such thing as an "attempt" to expose himself.
  8. That would make sense....considering.
  9. Why is race even brought into this conversation? In my opinion, it is overplayed. But it's not even relevant to the point of this thread: the way I see it, the question is whether a story implicating PM in a one-sided narrative should erase 20+ yrs of QB play without knowing how the trial played out (where is the trial transcript or the jury verdict?). If it was a response to warranted criticism of Cam's on-field play (didn't jump on fumble, post game moping, etc), then the article goes beyond athletic criticism and has one goal: hurt PM with old allegations which have never been substantiated.
  10. You covered alot of territory here but the confederate flag, reputation as a guy who likes women and having an "open marriage" still doesn't establish whether the incident occurred in the 90's. I understand your opinion and the fact you have "inside information" is valuable, but do any of the contacts you reference have any idea what happened in that room 20 years ago? If not, how can a story today which relies on one set of documents (plaintiff) be used to discredit an athlete without hearing the defense case any more than those who implicate Jordan's gambling with the death of his father? It's speculative at best without the entire trial transcript (IMO). I read it in People magazine during the Michael Jackson coverage. I watch Court TV too.
  11. I don't know Cletus. I read somewhere that the civil lawsuit standard first requires a court to instruct a jury what evidence is admissable (relevant, non-hearsay, circumstantial, etc) and then, whether a jury (or judge in the case of a bench trial) finds it is more likely than not that something occurred to jeapordize her career attributable to Manning (or if the incident in the training room occurred). I haven't read the trial transcript or the depositions of Manning or his witnesses....not sure if those would be helpful in writing this article. I need to do some more research apparently.
  12. Eichel, Reinhart are exciting as all hell. Kane too.
  13. Making it to the toilet in time makes me happy. Glad you're feeling better.
  14. 1) the trainer knew Peyton was Archie's kid with all the resources that may involve, 2) the incident occurred in a training room where one other student athlete was sitting so the motives of the trainer and the other student have to be considered, 3) Manning had little to do with her (according to the article) until he first talked about her foul mouth, 4) She wanted to protect her reputation and the only way to do that is to implicate the choir boy Manning, 5) Settling with a pissed off plaintiff is often the most economical way to control damage of "the brand". Much like Kobe Bryant (alleged rape - settled) you shouldn't hear anything more of this until some arrogant, "look at me" journalist with a motive decided to re-open the "allegation" because he felt bad for Cam. It is still an allegation which hasn't even met the civil litigation standard of "by a preponderance of the evidence" (ie. It is more likely than not that it occurred - 51% to 49% that it happened). Without seeing Manning's affidavit, witness affidavits for Manning, trainer's background, finances, everything...this article is nothing more than a hatchet job to discredit an otherwise respectable career.
  15. I bet there's a guy on a mountain bike in tight shorts and a helmet off on stage right.
  16. So when the made for tv movie "Crushed Grapes and Cracked Eye Sockets: The Shady McCoy Trial" premiers on Lifetime, who will play Shady McCoy?
  17. I still have my grandparents' "Ice-o-Mat" which allows you to put the cubes in, turn the handle, and it crushes the ice. It's turquoise in color. Pretty neat gadget. My Dad and I have had one a day for the past 4 days. My grandparents used to do the same with him when he was my age. Pretty silly...but I agree with you. Happy Memories include all kinds of things...even drinking alcohol with family and friends.
  18. A cold, cold, cold manhattan (Canadian Club whiskey, sweet vermouth, a spot of cherry juice and a twist of lemon)...is there anything better??
  19. If I had powers of moderation I would keep anyone out of this thread that threatened to undo our happiness. Then again, if I had powers of moderation, would I be happy or an authoritative figurehead in the shape of a sphere??
  20. Buffalo Bills Football: You mad bro?
  21. Pretty girl and so young. Heroin is pure evil.
  22. As far as TSW threads go, I think the Mario Williams thread went over 100 pages and then they created Part II for another 40 pages (some great humor in those threads....deers, Luke Russert's mom, the AV guy that was trying to get the audio to work, etc).
