  1. I’m ok with McD having taken us to the playoffs last year (in 17 years)...and we didn’t have Brady at QB. Something tells me “football DNA” has something to do with it. McDermott is quite a bit different from 95% of the other coaches (in my opinion).
  2. Yes. Yes. We need a millionaire WR who quits on his team.
  3. I’m with ya. Do I think they could have perfected the roster with the salary cap as it stood? Sure. But it’s a sum certain that depends not only on price tag, but personalities. I’ll take this team as presently constituted over the alternative (egos like Dareus, Incognito and Watkins). I’m willing to wait and I’m thrilled with the progress from Week 1 to Week 3.
  4. There is a process (which we aren’t privy to) and once the defense, QB and Oline/TE’s (Croom) are shored up, it will be refreshing to see a stud WR and RB drafted next year. In the interim, we can relax and enjoy the games. Casting blame on coach and GM for a 3-4 year process seems pre-mature after three games. Let’s see what these younger guys can do.
  5. Kirby - I respect you as a poster. Always good stuff. But disagree with your view on this. If the coach and GM want to change the “culture” (or as they say “football player DNA”) and build through the draft, they had to make a decision: either keep Sammy Watkins and Robert Woods (and pay them contracts we couldn’t afford) or cut bait with Dareus, Glenn, Tyrod and fill in the gaps with guys like Tre White, Milano, Edmunds, Hyde and Poyer. The offense be damned...the defense carried the season last year so I suppose WR’s and OLine are on the list this coming year. Anyway, I see your point but think there’s more to it than simply blaming them for bad WR’s....what else was out there besides these guys? Go Bills!
  6. I noticed you didn’t deny it. ?
  7. “Gutted” is such a graphic term...I prefer “culled”. Where the the hell are Brandon Reilly and Tanner Gentry???!!!! I hear they are amazing!!!!
  8. Thanks for the heads up. You’ll hear from us tonight at 11:30pm
  9. I didn’t mean give you a drink now...I meant give meeeee a drink now.

John Ledyard Born November 1751 Groton, Connecticut Died 10 January 1789(aged 37) Cairo, Egypt Nationality American Education Dartmouth College Occupation Explorer Early life This guy criticizing Josh Allen is a !@#$ing explorer!!! And he’s dead. What does he know about QB’s???
  11. Gone are the days of Pat Summerall, John Madden, Howard Cosell and even Greg Gumbel. The new age announcers are mediocre compared to the classics. Give the ladies a chance...they can’t do any worse. For God sakes though, would someone get Michael Irvin off stage!
  12. What is this you speak of?
  13. We need another Tanner Gentry thread!!
  14. Shoot me now
  15. Anyone who thought Milano was “on the bubble” must have read that garbage piece by Joe B during the preseason. Please stop listening to that dolt and form your own opinions.
  16. Our defense had the game in hand. No sense running up the score. We have a backup QB who needs to work the kinks out just sitting there board out of his skull. He should have taken over at halftime to get his confidence back.
  17. I think you just proved my point. I rest my case.
  18. This was a perfect opportunity to showcase his talents.
  19. “White men CAN jump”
  20. Yeah. But we were up 38-0. Let the young guy plink some balls around.
  21. Ummmm, so I guess you never got kicked down when you failed? Here’s the deal - when you’re up 32-0, you should let a guy who starves for confidence to throw a few balls into the end zone. Pederson needed a little boost and McDoormat deprived him of that. No probs. Just making an observation.
  22. It’s a team sport (last time I checked). Let the team win.
  23. There were times when Bellicheat ran the score up. So at the start of the second half, McDermott should have given Peterson the rains to show how he could menege a game. Pretty sure Peterson was managing Allen this week (kinda like McKown). Give the old timer a chance to show the youngin’ how it’s done
