  1. actually, he'd be stupid to sell...period. He'd have to pay a crapload of taxes on the sale...and when he passes away, his heirs would have to pay another crapload of taxes on the inheritance. Yeah...he's gonna pay double the taxes Whether people think he's got a good football mind or not is irrelevant. He's pretty much always been a good businessman and someone voluntarily paying double the taxes when they don't have to is anything but smart.. There are 2 possible ways to avoid double taxation. 1 is the Bills going up for sale upon his death...his heirs would have to pay taxes on the sale but I don't believe they'd have to pay any on the estate...but I'm not 100% certain on that. 2..the team is left to Mary Wilson (his wife)...no inheritance tax when left to your spouse...rumor is that this is what's going to happen and she plans on selling to Kelly's group of investors. She'd pay taxes on the sale only...no double taxation
  2. He's very likely the biggest !@#$ in the NFL...only McGayhee comes close
  3. link? All we know is that it's a 4-year deal.....there've been no reports on how much the deal is for
  4. Jacksonville was predetermined to be on our schedule in 2009 way back in 2002...we play them every 3 years as part of the set scheduling system. In the off years like 2007 and 2008, it's based on how the teams finish in their respective divisions
  5. He's experienced in dealing with strong nose tackles...he faced off against Kris Jenkins in practice every day for a few years...shouldn't be an issue
  6. talking face-wise...just like the person was in the post I responded to
  7. Might wanna read your own post...while those players didn't deliver playoff games (thanks in part to coaching), the fact that we signed them early in free agency is proof that we tried to do something to deliver wins from a free agency standpoint. Oh, and the fact that you have to resort to name-calling (which is pure cowardice to do on a message board, anyway) just makes you wrong. Resorting to name-calling is something you do when you can't make a reasonable point with a level head.
  8. that might be a little extreme but I think she's rather average-looking
  9. Free agency hasn't even been in effect for 2 days yet....talk about impatience.
  10. Only if the dinner is poisoned....it was an idiotic post $49M to Derrick Dockery 2 years ago in addition to Langston Walker's $25M deal Takeo Spikes, Sam Adams, London Fletcher, Trey Teague, Dave Moore, Mark Campbell, Jeff Posey, Troy Vincent, Chris Villarrial, Spencer Johnson, Kawika Mitchell.........all are players we've picked up early in free agency periods within the past 8 years. People need to stop overreacting after free agency has only been open for a day and a half...sheesh!!
  11. except that the Yankees actually win games and titles
  12. who's that? never heard of him...and I know he's not on the Bills roster
  13. If you actually believe Ralph has any intentions of selling the team, then I think you should join us in the real world. He's made it perfectly clear he has no intentions of ever selling the team
  14. We made a few big splashes in free agency 2 years ago....signed some LG for $49M How'd that work out? Yeah...that's what I thought...grow the hell up, kiddies
  15. speaking one's mind is good....acting like a baby in a soiled diaper because the Bills aren't acting irresponsible in free agency is stupid, though
  16. like adults as opposed to a baby in need of a diaper change
  17. The only loser atmosphere around is the idiotic expectations that we make a bunch of major signings in the first day. Funny thing is that these same people B word the loudest when the free agents that get brought in don't live up to the high-priced deals that always mark the first day of free agency
  18. Rome wasn't built in a day there, skippy. They're being smart about things...rather than throw $49 M at a guard who gets cut two years later, they're doing more homework on the players that they have in town and working on smarter deals
  19. I've got one of those 25th Anniversary posters on the wall above my bar agreed on Shaw...I'll take Joe D over Reggie and Thurman over OJ (more versatile, IMO) As far as the possibilities...the only DT in Bills history who'd have an edge over Sestak is Mt Washington...Smerlas would be the 3rd DT...Sestak belongs in Canton. Golden Wheels...going by stats relatively unimpressive going against today's WRs...but that's because the game has changed so much favoring the passing game. On a level playing field, I think Golden Wheels ranks up there pretty high
  20. A tender isn't a contract....they tendered him to retain exclusive negotiating rights. But don't let facts keep you from making posts as bad as Skooby's. Last I knew, they were working on getting him signed to a nice multi-year contract
