  1. That trade was in the back of Newsome's mind when he was only willing to give up a #4 for a much better player...this was revenge on the part of the Ravens
  2. You're better at making trades than Buddy, apparently...Kenny is worth multiple 1st rounders
  3. Bowling ball shots!! I actually have a few pair of Bills socks....but they do get washed..lol
  4. We usually have anywhere from 4-8 cars and I'll probably be arriving shortly after Kenny does on gamedays to help him set up....that not getting to the lot til 8am last year SUCKED! When they announced the lots wouldn't open til 9, that ended my 15 years in Lot 1
  5. no doubt...Shannon should've gone in 1st ballot
  6. Rather than re-type my solution, check the 2nd paragraph on my blog post a couple years ago for an answer http://buffaloprocheer.blogspot.com/2009/12/jills-at-bills-jets-game-in-toronto.html
  7. This is a joke, right? He quit on the team in 2008, both in not showing up until the day before the season started, and by sleepwalking through the season....he was the worst LT in the game that season, allowing a league-leading 11.5 sacks and was directly responsible for the loss in the Meadowlands against the Jets. There's only 2 ex-Bills I despise...him and McGahee
  8. bingo...some of those businesses basically break even most of the year...weekends around Bills games are very profitable for them and allow them to thrive...losing those weekends hurts those businesses a lot...if a business struggles to make profits, jobs are likely to be cut
  9. Yeah...there's a great idea...besides hurting the teams' bottom lines, a boycott will hurt a lot of businesses that rely on the fans on Sundays to survive...there's businesses in Western NY that are taking a big hit as it is because of that stupid Toronto series. Anyone in support of any kind of a boycott like this shows how short-sighted and narrow-minded he/she is and THAT's the bottom line! Even if the whole idea of a boycott weren't totally asinine, there's that as well...this will be my 16th year with seasons...but I support anyone who wants to give up their seasons....makes an upgrade easier for those of us who are true fans
  10. If the NFL does go to 18-game seasons...and I don't see a CBA being agreed to until they drop that idea, it wouldn't be until 2012...not this year...and preseason games would drop to 2, except for any Hall of Fame Game or American Bowl participants which would get 2 because the team needs those preseason games to evaluate talent and there's been a lot of injuries with 16 games....be even worse with 18...plus there will be more meaningless games at the end of the season...oh, and I'm saying this as a 16-year season ticket holder...when you count 2011 which I've already paid for
  11. first time since 87....the Giants have never had cheerleaders and the Broncos didn't have cheerleaders that season
  12. Jets got their Flight Crew in 2007, actually...they had female flag carriers starting in the middle of 2006...they weren't cheerleaders which explains why the Jills wouldn't be ranked anywhere...because the Bills don't sponsor the Jills, maybe the only squad in the NFL not primarily sponsored by the team it represents..the only sponsorship the girls get is a single seat to each game and the use of the Fieldhouse for practices and a trailer for a locker room...but I'm pretty certain that the Jills are pretty highly ranked as far as how much money they bring in to their sponsors...Citadel Radio makes a lot of money off the Jills
  13. she's a former Pro Bowl cheerleader for the Fish...what did you expect?
  14. It's a week from Saturday, actually...day before the Super Bowl
  15. He has his own website and Twitter now...lol http://www.firemaned.net/ http://twitter.com/#!/FiremanEd42
  16. I have to agree....I've had season tix for 15 years and in all that time, I've only had 1 fight in my area, 1 obnoxious Bills fan (and that's Bernie's personality...loudmouthed but harmless) and no one puking or anything in the stands anywhere near me. And I've been in the tunnel endzone all 15 of those seasons...so yeah, there's some bad eggs in the stadium, but anyone saying there's that many of them is nothing less than full of it.
  17. It also sticks them with a higher salary and singing bonuses that, if the player doesn't pan out for whatever reason (and there have been plenty of players who would've had great careers if not for stuff like injuries...like Ki-Jana Carter), then we're on the hook for all that which will cripple us for several years because there's no way the new CBA won't have a salary cap in place...how much they change the rookie cap remains to be seen. A good GM, like we have now, can make a key pick at 10 just as easily as he can at 3
  18. bad parenting would be allowing children to grow up to be Fish fans (Fish fans are created as the result of severe head trauma) or Pats fans (those are the type who only root for their team when it's doing well and are as obnoxious as anyone in the NFL)
  19. The Stadium Wall The name of this message board
  20. The officials are always doing their best to help them against us..even on days like today in which we played poorly enough that the Pats* could beat us fair and square, they still got help from the officials
  21. It wasn't for 1 game...it was for half a season...but he didn't have a whole lot of time before the home game against the Fish to install it...Spielman got hurt against the Broncos and then Covington got hurt in practice so Wade had a few days to install a 4-3 with John Holocek as the MLB and Sean Moran moving in as the UT next to NT Ted Washington...they actually went with the 4-3 in 98 as well until a few games into the season when they decided they needed to get Cowart on the field and went back to the 3-4 8-8 in 2002 9-7 in 2004...you were saying?
  22. yes...it won't show up in his timeline unless he follows you, but he can see it in his "Mentions"
  23. Stevie is an emotional guy who wears his heart on his sleeve. There's not a person on Earth who hasn't said something similar out of frustration so anyone bashing him for this really needs to do some self-reflection and get a clue.
  24. The phrase "It's unfortunate this happened to me" sounds to many people like he sees himself as a victim...not someone who feels he was in the wrong...not that hard to understand for those of us who don't turn a blind eye to a criminal just because he can play a sport. No convicted felon should be allowed to play in the highest profile sports league in the world...simple as that. Goodell screwed up and hurt the image of the league by allowing him back in and it'll come back to bite him when Vick gets in trouble again...and he will...he already got in some this past offseason.
  25. The NFL is the most followed professional sports league on the planet...it sends a bad message to everyone if they allow a non-repentant convicted felon back in the league...it's not like he couldn't play football elsewhere...UFL, CFL, Arena League
