  1. Watching that PC, Jones is not all there. He went on a rant about when he was young and 16 or something. The story made no sense lol.
  2. No Twitter insiders yet with contract details?!?
  3. To that point, understanding and treatment of it. Just not enough out there for people who are dealing with it.
  4. Couple of my favorite: I like escalators, because an escalator can never break; it can only become stairs. There would never be an "Escalator Temporarily Out of Order" sign. Only an "Escalator Temporarily Stairs... Sorry for the Convenience." I say that every time I see a broken escalator. One time a guy handed me a picture, he said "Here's a picture of me when I was younger." Every picture of you is when you were younger.
  5. Agreed. And he took jokes from Louis CK.
  6. And with union, that 10% will get out voted pretty quickly if the other 90% need the money.
  7. Hate? Probably a bit strong, I disliked my ex wife for a good solid amount of time because she left me for another guy and broke up a family doing it. But then I decided what's the point? She shouldn't be determining my happiness. And I'm sure she wasn't sitting there thinking about how I effect her life, so I got over it. We are actually able to have conversations now, weirdly.
  8. Fails on several levels? I'm sorry but you've completely switched the argument. This was never about who should pay what in terms of taxes, I merely pointed to the fact that wealthy people do in fact contribute A LOT of money to what you enjoy on a daily basis via taxes. Again, ignoring the point that was made. This isn't about what is far or unfair for the rich to be taxed. That's not the point I was making. This was all about contribution, which they do contribute.... A LOT.
  9. And adding to that, it stimulates innovation.
  10. Not really to get into this too much but the wealthy people already do allocate money to society. A lot of money. The top 20% of the wealthiest people pay nearly 90% of tax money. That money pays for a lot of things that you use every day. Are you saying they should give more?
  11. See I thought it was her belly button that wasn't getting her jobs...
  12. Yup. David Fincher and Kyle Cooper really turned the opening credits into an "opening scene." There were a couple movies previously were guys like Saul Bass worked on the opening credits but Cooper, IMO, really changed the way movies open. Instead of just scrolling text he took the opportunity to expand the movie.
  13. DE/Edge No idea what we will get from Lawson, there is 1 legitimate starter there. If Hughes gets injured, look out.
  14. Yea but if a team wouldn't trade for Taylor it would mean they weren't intersted in him being a starter, obviously
  15. Some of my favorites that I can recall: Se7en The Shining Goodfellas - Also has an amazing opening line to go with it "As far back as I can remember, I always wanted to be a gangster" Jurassic Park Mission Impossible 3 Funny Games - which is actually a tip of the cap to The Shinning The Big Lebowski And pretty much what others have said, Indiana Jones trilogy, some of the Bond films and the Dark Knight. I'd also say pretty much anything David Fincher does opening scene wise to a movie, is pretty good. Fight Club, The Social Network, The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo along with Se7en. Same goes for Kubrick films.
  16. Hahaha, just a legitimate thought I had. Seems like something that the NFL would do
  17. Wonder if he still be punished under the personal conduct policy?
  18. Actually it was 3 11-win seasons, in a weak AFC South. I mean in that 3 year stretch they went 16-2 against there own division. Ultimately, they got smacked around by New England in the playoffs. I think what you mean to say is, you'll take a deal where the Bills could play in a weak AFC South. Of course the other teams in the AFC South, like the Titans and Texans, have had an influx of talent and the Colts are no longer able to run away with the division.
  19. I didn't witness but it happened right outside my apartment window and I heard it all. While living in Venice, CA there was a guy who was doing a drug deal on the corner where my apartment was. The drug dealer was on the corner and the buyer was in a car... something happened and the dealer shot at the guy in the car, who then made it about a 1/4 down the street before he realised he was shot and bleeding and stopped his car. Police brought in a helicopter to find the drug dealer who took off on foot. It was crazy.
  20. It's nice that you are optimistic but I highly doubt Lawson will be at M. Williams level in 2014. I'm sorry but i don't think he will be a first team All Pro in 2017. And therefore to the OPs point the talent is less.
  21. Here's my problem with tanking and why it doesn't necessarily work. Teams completely gut the talent. Did the Colts get Luck? Sure they did but they also completely gutted themselves of talent overall to do that. The team was a mess, no OL, no defense and it's now catching up to them. Tom Brady and the Patriots are such a unique example of what getting an elite QB can do. He is one of the best to play the game and the way the Patriots play, they can afford not to have crazy talent everywhere. But look at Manning in Indy, they won 1 SB. Look at Brees in New Orleans. Look at Matt Ryan in Atlanta. The Jets are apparently tanking and in the process making it a horrible situation for a QB to come into, unless he's the next coming of Tom Brady and doesn't need talent around him. Look at their offense and the weapons they have on the roster currently.
  22. Yea have to agree with that, Mario Williams was first team All Pro in 2014. Where's that talent at DE this year?
  23. Got bored and watched 2009-2011. 2009 and 2010 might be 2 of the worst years of the drought. 2009 being Dick Jurors last season, why he was brought back after 3 consecutive 7-9 season, I'll never understand. The drafting of Aaron Maybin in the 2009 draft. The offense of that team was absolutely terrible. The Browns 6-3 loss might be one of the worst games of the drought. Then after the season Buddy Nix led one of the most depressing coaching searches I can remember. The Bills were turned down for interviews by Shanahan, Schottenheimer, Harbaugh and Cowher. They ended hiring Chan Gailey who still chose to start Trent Edwards as his QB. The 2010 season started out 0-8 but there were some actually pretty good games in there, the Baltimore game that went to overtime, was a shoot out and the KC game that went to overtime that almost ended in a tie. The 2011 season seemed like the season the drought was going to end in the beginning of the season but it really was fools gold. The injuries and lack of depth plus just how horrible the defense was derailed the season. The Bills went on a 3 game losing streak in the middle of the season with a score of 106-26. The worst might have been the loss to Dallas, who were an 8-8 team that season. The Cowboys scored TDs on their first 4 offensive drives. Romo was 23-26 for 270 yards and 3 TDs. Ah well, all in the past now.
  24. Thanks for the 1st round pick. Andy Reid is still running the show.
