  1. Bunch of great names, indeed. I'll have to go with the Captain, though, too. Captain?! Maybe his second name is John...
  2. I do, too. But Tasker Jr. seems to be quite the opposite, doesn't he?
  3. Just to play the game... Who did Ryan Nassib have? Yes, Alec Lemon. He might turn out to be ok.
  4. I haven't seen him, have no idea whether he is any good as a receiver. But, in this short interview, he doesn't strike me as someone who couldn't handle pressure.
  5. I confess to 1st degree Wikipedia-research. But Wikipedia does claim that Buddy was the Chargers Director of Pro Personnel for the 2000 season.
  6. So some of you guys like Colon for depth, hu? But would ya want Colon and Wood on the same OL?
  7. Here's another "local kid" I would bring in for camp. No 79, RT Gokhan Ozkan. Probably move him inside.
  8. Well, Hackett was Quality Control Coach for the Bills when Fitz was backing up Edwards. Haven't heard of any deeper connection. The other point does seem valid, though. To put it more positively: Fitz is probably a rather important part of the Bills' locker room chemistry. Also, as I've stated before, if we're going to draft a raw QB in the 2nd or 3rd round, Fitz is exactly who I want to have as a mentor. Not because he's the best QB of all times but because he's the smartest with an absolutely impeccable work ethic.
  9. I'm with fearthelosing on this one. Geno has talent. But his track record of questionable leadership scares me. I'd prefer a 2nd round guy who's potential needs to be developed over a 1st rounder with a weak arm or one who folds when his team is behind.
  10. James Walker is a Bleacher Report blogger in disguise. Sorry. What I don't get is the Buffalo Rumblings hate. Those guys don't pretend to be pros nor do they claim to be breaking any news. They do offer some pretty decent analysis and uncommon perspective. I go there frequently.
  11. Yeah, mine are, too. I manage life for the better part.
  12. While, slowly, I am buying into the whole Ryan Nassib deal, the guy I really liked all along the way is Tyler Wilson, as the title of this thread may imply. There's about 25.000 articles out there that explore the ups and downs of his last college season. While that is true, nobody seems to doubt that Wilson has got all the tools to become a very good NFL quarterback. Today, there is a short Interview with him on buffalobills.com. Watch that and a few of the interviews and press conferences with him that pop up on youtube. I really like the guy. He seems to have the perfect demeanor. Check him out.
  13. Not I that I know how NFL players feel. But that does look like the kind of message that would get you going in the right direction, doesn't it? He might just have a plan with a text flat rate... ;-)
  14. This is interesting. I'll try to shine a different light on this. I live in Berlin, Germany. The primary spectator sport here, obviously is soccer. The German "Bundesliga" has an average attendancy of about 45.000 which is by quite a margin the highest in Europe. The average ticket price in the bundesliga is around 20 Euros which equals roughly 25 bucks - give or take two or three. Now, European Soccer clubs do earn their money on Club Seats and VIP boxes. But the average price remains. That by no means compromises the "game day experience." German stadiums are among the modern worldwide. Fact is, I can go see a top-level game of soccer anytime for 30 or 40$ unless I'm unfortunate and it's sold out.
  15. Yes, and that was also the single funniest thread since I started out here. I recall going back to it for weeks when I needed something to brighten up my day...
  16. Teams might also carry four or five mobile QBs a few years from now...
  17. I agree that we need LBs. But, actually, slicing through the line and getting tackles for loss is exactly waht Shep is good at. It's just kind of painful to watch him - or Barnett - trying to cover Gronkowski et al.
  18. Wow. Thought you were just bitter. Apparently, you are more troll than anything else.
  19. That might seem, well, not very substantial at first sight. But it does sum up the substance of your posts quite well, actually.
