  1. Other than a couple missed deep throws, I think EJ has looked really composed for a rookie, especially considering his pre-season. The interception was a dumb, dumb, decision, but it wasn't like he does that a lot, so I consider it an isolated mistake... even vets do that sometimes. The fumble was a missed block, but he could use to tighten up his form so the ball is a bit higher, again another thing that isn't unique to him or even rookies. Two games in, he's shown poise, command, decent accuracy and a solid arm. Couldn't ask for more as a rookie.
  2. I think we could have gotten to the line and spiked it for one last play.
  3. Count me in as one who thinks the Bills defense has improved... but I think one thing to keep in mind in regards to the Panthers and Patriots and our defense, is that we played lesser versions of both offenses. The Patriots, obviously, were missing many weapons from years past. The Panthers have hamstrung Cam Newton and company with their "new" conservative offense. Though, on the other side, we are missing Gilmore and Byrd. Basically what I'm saying is... I'm not going to get too "up" on our defense against the Pats and Panthers, because both teams are shells of what they used to be. The Jets, though, aren't exactly offensive juggernauts. When do we next play a team that is considered offensively great?
  4. I don't think we'll be favorites against the Chiefs. They are a much different/better team this year.
  5. I feel like he's going to scramble a lot, compared to Cam, so we need to be careful to not be *too* aggressive, or at least keep a zone/spy around the pocket.
  6. All I want is a win, the rest of it doesn't matter. We need to beat bad teams.
  7. And yet we gave up 23 points in both games... Not sure if your post last week, was really warranted, considering all the hits we got on QB, just Brady was smart enough to get rid of the ball.
  8. Basically how I feel.
  9. Probably can't, CBA rules or something.
  10. Won us the game, ultimately.
  11. Hell, even the call on A. Williams could be called iffy, the ball was in the air, the WR jumped to make a play on the ball (even though it was above his head) and Williams hit him to push him out of bounds in case he did get his hands on it.
  12. Played really well today. Hopefully his hand/wrist will be fine for next week, looks like he hurt it pretty bad that last drive (and still caught the winning pass!).
  13. I like everything about our defense, up until the last 2-4 minutes of each half. For whatever reason, everything falls apart there. But outside of those handful of minutes, we've been killing it.
  14. Good game by him today. Looked like he banged up his hand/wrist on the last drive, but still caught the TD. Hope he's not injured, we clearly need the guy.
  15. So lucky, but I'll take it, a win's a win.
  16. Well, after the Fitzpatrick like throw and game saving penalty, EJ totally redeems himself!
  17. Game over. Another game of the Bills eating themselves. Hopefully we aren't so embarrassing against the Jets also.
  18. Well, at least the CJ run was nice.
  19. Lets try not to do stupid things this drive...
  20. Terrible decisions on both plays by EJ.
  21. Missed blocks happen. Holding the ball low, should be fixed. I'm not saying the block wasn't missed. That will be looked at also. Again, coaching.
  22. Is this a Moby Dick reference?
  23. Sure it does. Have him hold the ball higher when passing in that situation, teach him to get rid of it sooner. It was a rookie mistake, that'll be fixed with coaching.
