  1. I appreciate that he takes care of the ball, but a conservative offense isn't going to advance us to the Superbowl. I kind of wish we could keep him for cheap while bringing in a young guy or two to see if they have "it", but he'll probably demand more money than we want to give someone like that. Thanks for not turning the ball over much, Tyrod. Also, thank you for being a class act even if us fans were !@#$s to you.
  2. I'm glad he got the opportunity to go play with a real offense and QB.
  3. To those that gave serious answers/are discussing the topic, thank you
  4. I still think he's good to have on board until a new QB is developed, but I think the asking price will be too high now that he's taken us to the playoffs (so to speak).
  5. I'm still not a fan of giving away talent, but it's pretty clear that the coaching staff and Dareus weren't seeing eye to eye. It's best for both to move on, it's just a shame that it's going to cost us so much money.
  6. Same as the one month and six month polls. Do you approve or disapprove Trump's job performance so far? Feel free to expand on your answer in a post. For example, is how your feeling about him now different or the same as before the election? Are you happy with certain parts, and down on other parts of his performance? Etc. One Month: 45% Approve/55% Disapprove Six Months: 32% Approve/68% Disapprove
  7. I agree that this team isn't any better than the last 9-7 Bills team, but playoffs are playoffs and it's awesome to have the 'streak' ended.
  8. Thank God we got that monkey off our back. Also glad to see Kyle get a postseason appearance. Not expecting to advance but it's nice to play in January
  9. This. There are maybe 2 or 3 QBs in the league that can carry a mediocre team to the playoffs. The rest need to have a decent team around them to get anywhere. This idea that you can just draft a stud QB and be set for life is so stupid.
  10. I'm not one to call a rookie a bust their first season, but Jones is going to need to fix his case of the yips next year, otherwise his career will be short.
  11. The hot takes here are as spicy as ever.
  12. Really curious what our options will be heading into next year. I can't imagine we enter next year with just a rookie and a 2nd year guy. But then again, it wouldn't be the first time we've done something that stupid.
  13. In the case of a football *game*, and the Bills/Pats, yeah I think accepting it is the way to go. The Pats get calls. Just like Lebron James "never" fouls anyone. Oversimplification or not, the Patriots are a good team, are a very popular team (because they're good and live in a big market) so it benefits the NFL to give them favorable calls. Whining about it every time we play them does no one any good. You'd think Bills fans would get it by now. If you consider the Patriots getting favorable calls to be an injustice in the real world, then you haven't lived in the real world. There are people dying and living without basic rights out there, those are injustices. The Patriots getting favorable calls is a predictable annoyance due to capitalism.
  14. You can either choose to live in the real world, or not, up to you.
  15. I don't understand why Bills fans continue to be surprised by this. Good teams get calls, middling/bad teams don't. Simple as that. If we all of a sudden have a HoF coach and QB, and become a ratings and ticket darling, then we'll get calls too. The NFL isn't unique in this, it happens in other sports too.
  16. I don't agree that he's 'bad' necessarily, but he is on the low end of starting QB talent in the league. He's not the answer, but he's also currently the best QB on the team right now. The Bills have screwed the position up for 20 years now.
  17. Play the game the right way and focus on winning. Getting a bunch of personal fouls from cheap shots won't help us make the playoffs.
  18. I'll likely be donating my tax savings to charities that I think the federal government should be making unnecessary. If the tax plan results in the lower and middle classes having significantly more spending power, then I'm all for it. But if their spending power continues to stagnate, while the rich get richer, then I'll end up being against it.
  19. We've been *very* lucky this season compared to past seasons. It's nice to experience for once.
