Again, a personal attack instead of answering the question. I know this forum tends to think me fairly idiotic*, but I am quite capable of taking care of myself. While I personally think it's ****ty for her to do those things, I'm not so sure if it can be enforced legally without entering an impossibly slippery slope. What do you think? Possibly. But that doesn't answer my question. If life starts at conception, and the mother is wholly responsible for said life, and the mother unintentionally kills said life, shouldn't the mother be charged with manslaughter?

Agreed. I'm willing to accept and be patient that this year might not be playoffs for a variety of reasonable reasons, but I have a feeling many won't.

Basically if he would have accepted the penalty and said something like "Every player tries to gain an advantage, I got caught... lesson learned. I'll come back with a vengeance." He would look a lot better, and no one would really care all that much.

Garoppolo will be a lot better prepared this time... the Bills will be in a "new" defense, and the Bills "suck".... and the Patriots are run by a "genius" coach. I could see why national media types think its an easy win for the Pats. My vote is: 'Maybe' I didn't think Garoppolo looked terrible when we played last year.... he had rookie nerves, then calmed down nicely. Does that mean he's gonna be any good? Who the hell knows. Being that he's totally unknown, I have no way of forming a real opinion on the game. Maybe after they play week 1, but still... there's not a whole lot of info on the guy.

Honestly, after he settled down, he didn't look too terrible. It'll be interesting to see if he develops or not. For our sakes, I hope he doesn't...
