  1. Good old fashioned Bills start... Let's get it together boys
  2. I've let the last 15 years beat me down too much... After the excitement and optimism to start, I'm expecting a let down, personally... Even though objectively, the Bills should win.
  3. So you guys that are unhappy with Sammy, what do you propose the Bills do with him? Cut him? Trade him?
  4. Any athlete just knows, honestly. Some have ego/pride that tell them to push through it, some finally get it through their head that they need to sit... but you definitely no when your body is right or not.
  5. I've been enjoying* this story. I'm glad it's happening this way. * - enjoying might be the wrong word.
  6. They better! Or I'm holding you responsible!
  7. It's significantly more complicated than an amendment... was just commenting on the "well its in the constitution, so nothing can be done" idea. Culture needs changing, social programs need changing, gun availability needs to be addressed, gun safety needs to be addressed, etc etc It's a problem that the US will likely never tackle because of the divide among our representations, and who is lobbying them.
  8. Why you gotta depress me like that?
  9. I don't see why the Constitution couldn't be changed, so I'm not sure why people latch on to it so dearly. It has changed to meet the needs of a changing society, and I'm sure it will again in the future.
  10. I don't trust Dixon as our backup... so Wood/Thigpen? Harvin? Who should be our 2nd runner?
  11. Definitely gonna be a test for our team depth this weekend.
  12. That's where I'm at. I don't see the Giants as an easy game, but I trust our depth, and its a NFC matchup, I'll go ahead and take the chance to rest our guys for possibly more important games down the road.
  13. They have to respect the run. They have to keep an eye on Clay with a safety or linebacker. And then you have Harvin and Woods who are both good at getting open, and Hogan, while not Sammy, is damned solid. I think we'll be ok.
  14. We're gonna have some really tough choices to make if he's successful. I mean, it'll be awesome to be in a position to make those choices for once, but still.
  15. You hope an assistant or position coach has learned his system, and plug him in to keep some continuity.
  16. Blocking, brought to you by....
  17. We need a change in culture. We need more comprehensive social safety nets (healthcare in this case) We need a better handle on gun availability. Basically nothing is gonna change, all three of these things are impossible to accomplish in our current political atmosphere.
  18. I was wondering that myself. --- He seems to dance around a lot for a big guy... he needs to just run forward, if he only picks up a couple yards so be it... leave the dancing for the quicker guys.
  19. Until I see 100% odds after week 17, I'll keep from celebrating. We've been here before
  20. I like me some Karlos, but behind him is a pile of crap, and McCoy is fantastic at receiving out of the backfield... Sammy, a fantastic talent, but I don't think this offense relies on individual WRs beating their DBs, but rather schemes getting guys open.
  21. I very much prefer the develop a QB for a couple seasons behind a vet approach, even if they show flashes as a rookie.
  22. I always call him the punisher, because he's just punishes whatever is in front of him...
  23. Good point, kind of forgot about Flash... is he a full participant this week? Edit: Look above, Dorkington, duh.
  24. Almost a national game... hopefully our usual pants shitting in these situations doesn't happen
