dayman replied to DrDawkinstein's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Newton not an NFL QB. Seems to have turned himself into a good college QB...but watch today you'll see we certainly don't want him...or shouldn't... -

Sean ''Puffy'' Combs wants to buy an NFL team
dayman replied to Welcome To Pegulavilla's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's an owner players would want to play for. I know that. -
I don't buy it...never have...who are the mysterious money guys Jim knows? "I don't entertain offers to move the team"...wtf...he acts like he's getting them. He's a nobody. What is he talking about?

Bills will TRADE top pick next year
dayman replied to Chris in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
To early to know what the draft will be like, who is there, who is good, who wants who...ect..to say whether we will or should trade down from #1 is impossible right. -

Will we make a play for Shawne Merriman?
dayman replied to Estro's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What?! We clearly need MORE steroid users. Have you seen our run D? Anyway, the way I see it as fans anyway we can't complain about sucking and having no talent and then talk bad about the idea of Shawne coming here...he won't...but we should want him to. Same as I said when Vick got out of jail...ect....bottom line...we have no business saying we wouldn't want him...right now or later...whether or not he's the "next Ray Lewis" he was or not...we have not players on this team...and nobody that has every been all that successful... That is truth. -
Anybody Think the Green Injury Is A Ploy
dayman replied to box0life's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What is his undisclosed injury? Is this hockey or what? -
In my experience people have thought low of us for uears already

These guys have to drive their stock UP as much as possible when on field. Also, I don't have a bonus in the millions... I don't feel sorry for these guys...we're in shambles b/c they aren't getting it done on the field. Obviously the FO is responsible for having them here at all in a position to fail...but...just...no.

Just yesterday I heard the PTI guys call us "among the most loyal fans in sports" so IDK what you are talking about. -

Chan thinking of going to 4-3 defense?
dayman replied to Cereal's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
“ I think good coaches will coach with the personnel they have, and if you only have one (good) linebacker, you’re not going to play a 3-4. ” —Hank Bullough, who installed one of the first 3-4 defenses with the New England Patriots.[8] -
A visual of how we're using Maybin all wrong
dayman replied to Got_Wood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
IDK man...that's really not a 3-4 D at all...it's the mayhem D...yeah mayhem D is an option out of 3-4 personnel if you have the personnel but...it's a complete different thing that what we're doing there...the fact that the line has trouble telling who is coming and who is going helps more than the stance...I mean I'd love to see a confusing aggressive D like the Steelers but I'm not sold that we're really to blame for Maybin or that we're using him wrong. If can't even make an impact on special teams...something is up...assuming he's as fast and athletic as he is... sounds like he's a mental bust. A lazy spoiled player that doesn't want to work or get better. -
Pick a song that fits the life of Bills fan

"I'm a loser baby, so why don't you kill me." Couldn't get more hilarious than that fit. -
A visual of how we're using Maybin all wrong
dayman replied to Got_Wood's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
IDK about this point...I'm no expert but I'm not sure a 2 point stance is more conducive to speed rushing than a 3 point stance...at least when you are Aaron Maybin and have an array of technique problems that need to be neutralized..somehow limiting what he is doing (read: get hand in dirt) might be good. Anyway...decent point perhaps good I'm not saying it's not but one thing is clear in those pictures in the OP...the Steelers a running a completely different fit against a run heavy formation vs. our fit v. what is clearly a passing formation. IDK like I said I'd have to sit here and think about everything I just said and I may sound like an idiot in parts of this post (wouldn't be the first time) but honestly I'm looking at this post and thinking..."this is apples and oranges and the analysis makes no sense." I mean to look at that Steelers screen cap and even remotely assume those guys are about to speed rush..it crazy...I'd think you need someone to set the edge against the run or/and perhaps pick up something up in the flat...the idea those guys are set up to "speed rush" as is argued Maybin should against that offensive set is insane... Sorry feel free to bust me. -
Wow, this is some article written by a former agent
dayman replied to plenzmd1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
As others have said, this is simply an amazing article. I found myself reading at a million miles an hour. Names, details, story covering more than 15 years...this is the best article I've ever read from a link on this board. This makes things seem...in all honesty...even more corrupt than I thought it was. I don't want to be an agent after reading this...that's for sure...easier ways to make a living...and at some point...the youthful excitement of working with start athletes has to wear off when that's the business. I don't think that dude, or any of the players specifically named as taking money are necessarily bad people...but...I couldn't work with them. Any of them. -
I would not be surprised if certain things fall into place if he bows out mid-season...I doubt he could bring himself to do that unless they lose a few more though...if they lose another...and the scandal gets bigger w/ more attention and suspension and his arm hurts...who could blame him for going back to Mississippi? I know I love the guy, love the player...but I was shocked to see what he did (allegedly) and it changes how I think about him. Not that I think it's to worst thing in the world but it's weird and creepy to me...
-
We need to slip a little tracking device in his shoe and track him like Santa on Christmas Eve..theorize based on where he goes and how long he's there...haha...sounds more entertaining than the Bills probably.

Whitner finally says something that makes sense
dayman replied to billsfreak's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Said it a million times...he's not great...he's not terrible...but I like him. I just do. I don't know why...I know everyone else hates him...I like the guy..I like the player. -
Ralph calls it top priority and the truth is it's rare you have the top pick so IF they think one of them is the **** they'll take him...and if they think one might be but aren't sure I can't say for sure that we're totally "healed" from the dysfunction that we'd pass in that case either...I think the focus on QB is not that everyone thinks it's necessarily what we MUST do just that it's what we will likely do so that's why we fixate on them. Plus it's just easier to follow a college QB than any other position...analysts talk about them all the time their on every offensive highlight...you don't have to watch the team every week ect... All of that said if there is a Mario Williams in this class...unless there's a Peyton too...I want him.
