Maybin would storm the stands if he got a sack

Ngata, Pat Williams, Orakpo, Kelsay...offense has Oher and Vick on it too...a few things that would be done if the team followed my simple fan advice. We'd also still have Winefield if possible and Fletcher. Aaron Hernandez is on the team too. We'd still have a QB problem...but...I don't know...seems like a pretty good team. Those aren't genius picks in our past...those were legit picks I thought we would make and people I wanted to keep. It's hard to drive yourself into the ground the way we did...it takes multiple obvious mistakes over the course of years and there I am thinking "well...what do I know"...well apparently I know how to look at espn and watch a few high lights and pick better than the Bills.

I still prefer us to play and lose than not play.

It's disappointing b/c there are guys that we missed who are good that we easily could have had and most of us thought we'd take. Oher. Ngata. But Orakpo was so obviously a good player, maybe not obviously the game changing stud he actually is now...but obviously good....and Maybin was obviously a coin flip on a bust...I almost root for the guys I wanted us to get...it's like my personal bills team...it's a lot better than what the brains at OBD put together.

Either QB would help us...

Anyway, the way I see it as fans anyway we can't complain about sucking and having no talent and then talk bad about the idea of Shawne coming here...he won't...but we should want him to. These guys have to drive their stock UP as much as possible when on field. Also, I don't have a bonus in the millions... I don't feel sorry for these guys...we're in shambles b/c they aren't getting it done on the field. Obviously the FO is responsible for having them here at all in a position to fail...but...just...no.

IDK man...that's really not a 3-4 D at all...it's the mayhem D...yeah mayhem D is an option out of 3-4 personnel if you have the personnel but...it's a complete different thing that what we're doing there...the fact that the line has trouble telling who is coming and who is going helps more than the stance...I mean I'd love to see a confusing aggressive D like the Steelers but I'm not sold that we're really to blame for Maybin or that we're using him wrong. If can't even make an impact on special teams...something is up...assuming he's as fast and athletic as he is... sounds like he's a mental bust. A lazy spoiled player that doesn't want to work or get better.

IDK about this point...I'm no expert but I'm not sure a 2 point stance is more conducive to speed rushing than a 3 point stance...at least when you are Aaron Maybin and have an array of technique problems that need to be neutralized..somehow limiting what he is doing (read: get hand in dirt) might be good. Anyway...decent point perhaps good I'm not saying it's not but one thing is clear in those pictures in the OP...the Steelers a running a completely different fit against a run heavy formation vs. our fit v. what is clearly a passing formation. IDK like I said I'd have to sit here and think about everything I just said and I may sound like an idiot in parts of this post (wouldn't be the first time) but honestly I'm looking at this post and thinking..."this is apples and oranges and the analysis makes no sense." I mean to look at that Steelers screen cap and even remotely assume those guys are about to speed rush..it crazy...I'd think you need someone to set the edge against the run or/and perhaps pick up something up in the flat...the idea those guys are set up to "speed rush" as is argued Maybin should against that offensive set is insane...
