  1. Well I won't bash you brother, and I totally agree. Marv never even added wrinkles to his own clothes.
  2. Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! Maybin has sniffed the field many times. In fact, I've even seen grass from the field stuck in his facemask.
  3. I for one am quite amazed at our passing game versus the MANY years past. Truly night and day. I really can't remember the last time our team was moving the ball like this. Here is to you, "Jackie Chan" Gailey. Very impressive.
  4. Passion? The Bills win big and you want to cry about Lee's passion. It's apparent you can't tell that the coverage almost always rolls to his side. In Stevie's interview he even mentions how good a job Lee did clearing out the safeties on one of his TDs. Have you at least noticed the TD out of the trips formation that Lee was by himself drawing the double coverage, leaving 3 wideouts covered by 2 DBs and a safety that was late coming over because of Lee. It amazes me how many football fans don't really understand what they are watching sometimes. I'm sure you'll prove what I said wrong with some misinterpretation of what you think you saw, so have at it. It is always entertaining to read these threads. The lack of logic and understanding of the game combined with drunken passion is top notch humor in my book. Go Bills!
  5. I like your assumption that the Bills could have run for the tough yards when we really needed it, just like they have done all game and all season right? On that note good night.
  6. Excellent post. This team was challenged late with aggressive play calling and did not deliver, the players own that.
  7. Kyle Williams will truly emerge when we put play makers around him. It's just a matter of time.
  8. I didn't realize that you were so sensitive, interesting that you immediately project a small penis issue into the argument. Perhaps you should have a conversation with your wife on what's really bothering you?
  9. I guess if Fitz makes the throw to Spiller you would call that being too cute. Give Fitz a free pass for sucking today if you like but based on the defensive looks, this game had to be won through the air. Like it or not.
  10. Why can't anyone accept the fact that we are far away from being a good football team talent wise?
  11. Try to pay attention a little more pre snap. Watch who was covering who pre snap, the chiefs had to spread out with their linebackers to cover because there package on field was the base defense with the intent of loading the line. Just because a D spreads out to cover 5 wide receivers does not mean that was their intent. Personel wise they were caught in bad match-ups one on one.
  12. It must be great living in the universe of what if. The fact is Gailey was trying to go for the jugular by being aggressive through the air when the Chiefs were playing 9 in the box on first and second downs. If we would have run it and gotten nothing against a defensive alignment that screams don't run it, you would be crying about why we ran it 3 straight times against a 9 man front. Don't get me wrong, keep crying if you have to.
  13. The fact that you would like the return of the Tampa-2 says it all. The problem is that this defense from last year can only play soft zone BS. When they have to man up and win one on one they fold. Blame Edwards if you like but this defense is light on talent.
  14. Good luck crying over spilled milk.
  15. Every defense is stacked either 8 or 9 in the box against us, it doesn't make sense to keep running the ball in those situations. The inconvenient truth is that they have to pass it. Get used to it until we win games through the air. This is what it is for now.
  16. I think that the biggest problem on D is the complexity of assignments. This defense is a new world to the soft, play 10 yards off cover-2 that we played. It's obvious that all of our DBs are inconsistent when asked to cover one on one. The truth is that we never had a pass rush from multiple sides of the line while Fewel was here, and that fact is compounded this year by DBs hung out to dry singled up. Everyone says that we need a pass rusher, but the sad truth is that we need more than one. Once we can get 2 front seven players that command double attention, we will begin to see results. Then again I think that holds true for any defense.
  17. I want Lee Evens traded for one reason only, by the time this team is playoff bound he will be on the downside of his career by quite a lot. I would like to see a high pick for him in the hopes that we can get a good young player who can develop with the team during the rebuild.
  18. This team lacks talent, but most of all it lacks desire by many of it's players. The players own that.
  19. According to your logic they will trade for a lousy player anyway since they'll screw up in the draft as well, So what difference does it make?
  20. From what I saw at the game yesterday, ALL positions except DB are a position of need. Our team S*CKS because we have drafted for need instead of best player available all too often. I can't imagine any RB or QB in the league that would have success behind our O-line. With the talent that we have at RB there is only one reason for them being shut down, and that is blocking. When this team finally has real football players on the lines, then and only then will we have success.
  21. Edwards, Hardy, and Mitchell are gone. I call that progress.
  22. Is this your idea of a suicide note?
  23. Is that avatar really your photo? My friend Larry has down syndrome and he is convinced that you have it too. I was rollin when he said that.
  24. Edwards clearly regressed from the preseason, he has no future in Buffalo and by cutting him he has a new opportunity in Jax. What is the big deal? People who are terrible at their job should get fired. I think it sends a message to this team in a big way. Accountability for your play on the field. If your gonna stink it up you are outta here. It is long over due. Besides, if some of the players are angry about it then maybe they themselves should have played better. If I hear about the o-line complaining then that is truly pathetic. They should have blocked SOMEBODY for the guy if they do happen to care so much. Judging by how they played, I doubt that is the case. I can see it now, Cornell Green crying about how unfair it was to cut the guy when he had only 1.2 seconds to throw the ball. HA! Maybe Maybin and Whitner will wake the hell up.
  25. I don't know why everyone has to beat this subject to death. This is a team sport, and the relationship between an o-line and it's Qb are no different. You cannot have championship level success without exceptional performance, trust, and communication between them. Don't BS that you can win a Super Bowl with mediocrity at either one, it's just not possible. One line of thought that I happen to agree with is that you can have a better chance of success at the QB or RB positions a behind a great line than the other way around. The Bills are a shining example of this. Take the top 16 lines in football and plug our backfield into it. One of them gets 1500 yards easy. Let's be honest. How many qbs in the league would have the ability to win consistently behind our line. I can think of only 5. 5 out of 32 is a poor %. NOT the recipe for success in my opinion. It's one thing to have 0 talent at qb like we have, but to also have no talent on the lines to top it off......PATHETIC. If your honest with yourselves, our guards aren't exactly setting the world on fire. To claim that they are some kind of bright spot is delusional right now. They need to get a lot better.
