  1. There will be some big nasty Tackles that can be had later in the draft to play guard. That's how we got Levitre.
  2. Truly insightful and with a fresh perspective. Subtle yet provocative when you think about it. Keep it up.
  3. Dude, enough of this we s*** already. WE have nothing to do with any of this. This team can go 0-16 for a while and guess what, the Bills will still exist, they will sell season tickets, and rake in TV money. The future of this team has nothing to do with any of this. This team needs to truly tank it, save cap space, get the number 1 pick next year, and try to build momentum from there. If you don't have a stud at QB, you're better off tanking it until you do and collect the best draft picks you can get. Once you have that QB, start spending in FA. This team can continue to fail miserably and you and I will still be fans. Being impatient is a conscious choice. Anything short of a Super Bowl victory to me is all the same. The league is full of teams that finally get to the playoffs just to find out that their QB isn't good enough and the tide rolls back out for them. I have watched the Bills win enough AFC titles and play in enough playoff games to not be satisfied with any of that. I say lose out until we get the real deal at QB. There is a huge difference between choosing to tank a season as a HC or player and doing such as a GM. One is a disgrace to the game, the other is smart NFL business. The NFL business model over the last few years has proven to be indestructible in the face of bad press, work stoppages, teams that suck every year that start QBs who suck.
  4. Great strategy. Pick a QB out of desperation while throwing away picks in a weak class and do this all again in 2016. History has never ever repeated itself, but it often rhymes. Your idea is for the song to remain the same.
  5. For all we know you are Fitz weeping all over your keyboard. He is gone, accept it. You must be a real treat at funerals Ryan.
  6. Dansby would be a huge addition.
  7. Tell that to the Titans.
  8. The Bills remind me a few 3 legged dogs I've met. At first I'ld start to think, 'yeah, that boy sure can get around', and I start to forget that the dog has a little bit of a handicap. Then a normal dog comes ripping around and I realize, 'dam that dog is f****d'.
  9. This FA period has extreme depth. The Bills need to be frugal, wait for the suckers with cap space to blow their wads, and not do something stupid. There will be talented players available over the next few weeks that won't break the bank. With a big ZERO at QB it would be wise to not spend a lot of money. Their may be a great QB in this draft. Their may not be. But if there is I think many of us can agree that he probably won't light the world on fire right away. I am fully braced for a season that could be epically bad. For me, I have the rest of my life to wait until they win a Super Bowl. I am a patient man.
  10. WWHHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  11. ...and concluded with a really loud bang...
  12. This board is out of control. People want CBs in their mid 30's signed, but they don't want a half way decent DT in his mid 30's. DTs don't hit their physical peak until their late 20's, early 30's. He would help the D-line quite a bit for those that want a guy to play the zero.
  13. A couple of a******s broke a few federal laws with no chance of profit. That is the only thing stupid about this in my opinion. Nix stated the OBVIOUS. Fitz has proven to be a backup. He will take a pay cut or he is gone. Isn't that what most of these threads are about anyway. If the call was not illegally recorded we would probably never of know about the call in the first place. No franchise QB=bad GM. Franchise QB=good GM. What a revelation.
  14. The draft is about specific players drafted into specific situations. All of this zip code talk distracts from that. As another poster explained, the questions about Nix's drafts have to do with drafting heavy for defense 3 years in a row and still having a poor defense. Nix is wise to fish in the big pond, but who he has drafted from the SEC pond vs what other teams have gotten from the same region might be a better way to evaluate the picks. Lots of GMs have sound philosophies in theory, but most of them fail in the execution.
  15. This is a form of quitting. How can you say that he "aint the guy" and call him the best option for 2013. Best option for what exactly? To me he is the best option to keep us out of contention for next years top QBs. One and done in the playoffs is nothing to aspire to unless you prefer to lose in front of a bigger audience. I don't share that point of view. If your gonna lose, lose big. In the NFL it actually helps your odds the next season.
  16. The bigger fish swim in the bigger ponds. It's not complicated.
  17. Apparently he is wise enough to know that he is only as good as the guy throwing him the ball, when he is actually on the field at least.
