Defense needs improvement. I say that I want to see wins to prove Fitz's worth as a starter, but he gave us every chance to win the game. Picks are part of the game when you actually throw for over 150 yards each week. How long has it been since we had two players with over 100 yards receiving in the same game? It was an exciting week, but I'm not letting hope get me down three weeks from now if the offense regresses. I'll let Fitz prove something to us before making a judgment, but what a fun game to watch. When's the last time you could say that you had FUN watching a Bills game? That's improvement.

I agree that it's not Chan and Nix. They haven't had enough time. You are also correct that it's been 10 years. The frustration, anger, and hopelessness, are misguided when pointed at Chan/NIx, but the emotions are not misguided in themselves. We've been offered a fresh start too many times and been dissapointed in the end. It is said that past behavior predicts future behavior. Although this is a new regime, the one thing that remains is the front office. Until that changes, it is practical for us to assume that past behavior will re-emerge. Whether the fault of Chan/Nix, or not, they are the face and they will take the blame. Just ask Modrak... The hell with it though...GO BILLS!

I don't really mind hearing that we suck. We do. there's nothing we can do about it, and no defense this year. But what really bothers me is when they say that our fans are awful and that it's the reason we're going to lose our team and move to another city. That one hurts.

No way he quits. And with the other stuff, the woman hasn't pressed charges or filed a grievance. Who knows, it might have been a mutual adult act. Anyway, he's a married man and shouldn't have done it. One things for sure, he really should have stayed retired because he is not playing up to par this year...

Wilson knows the score. He's old, but I don't think he's suffering from dimentia. Chan and Nix will be given time to right the ship.

I can't refute that he hasn't impressed since joining the nfl, but keep in mind that Edwards won his job based on his awesome performance in practice. We have nothing to lose by putting him in for a game or two and seeing what he's got. Wilson already broadcasted to the world that our QB's are crap and we're getting another one in the draft. Maybe Brohm will end up being the better #2 down the road.

Why is a man of such importance and high moral character - who always accomplishes his high-standard tasks - involoved in this conversation? I think we can all agree this team is awful and we're left with no hope in a three year rebuilding process that will go beyond our lease in 2012. No reason to take it out on eachother. The bag wearer speaks the truth without opening his mouth. This team wouldn't last in our collective jungle; even the jungles of low moral fiber.

So, he's now getting laughed at off the field as well? Great! All of us get laughed at everyday for rooting for this team. Losing teams lose fan support. If Donte contributes to wins, we'll all stop laughing.

Evans is great. He doesn't badmouth the team and he's had plenty of reason to do so. He also performs reasonably well, but his numbers were better when JP was throwing the ball. He's just not the same player he used to be. And if he is, we just don't have the talent to utilize his skills each week. If Lee can be bought for a fourth rounder, it's reasonable to believe that we can get a decent replacement at the same cost when we have a solid line and QB to work with. Until then, draft picks will help us to trade up in the draft which will help us more down the road than Lee will help us in the next two years. Besides, I think Lee deserves to go on to a team that can utilize his skills and maybe introduce him to the post-season.
