    When Schobel wasn't in there, Stroud was the ONLY good player on the D-line...the switch to 3-4 and the signings and possible drafting of better players should make Stroud perform better in my opinion. Assuming he plays DE, he will have Davis/Kawika/Poz/other behind him with Williams, Edwards, draft pick next to him...

    Hindsight is always 20/20...but you could probably look at any team's draft picks and say "if they grab him instead"... Past is the past...but I think we can all agree with the signings of Davis/Edwards we at least have some bright spots to look forward to.

    What a nice day for Bills fans! I don't think there was anyone out there who thought that both Davis and Edwards were going to sign... Anyone else we might be looking at pre-draft?

    This made my day for sure! I like to think of this as a well thought out decision since it comes some time after free agency opened. Great move...what's next? Edwards? Does this mean no McClain even if all good OTs and 2 QBs are gone? Who moves outside? Kawika? Our draft seems to be taking shape!

    I still think a 2nd is too high for us to be using on any QB. However, if Gailey is able to work his magic and develop an offense that fits Tebow's skill set then I'd be all for it... There's still a small part of me that even with all the criticism of Tebow, he will open eyes...

    Good point. My thinking is that from a "we could always use Oline depth so we don't have to scour the NFL for practice squad linemen" point of view, we should've at least tried to sign him for a good price. He is at least in my opinion starter quality.

    In general, a team building through the draft isn't expected to win the next season...hence the word building. As for the Browns, I offer the saying "quality not quantity".

    With all the Cody bashing about his "pecs", his work ethic, and his weight, it is nice to see that behind all that is a good human being. I'm not saying he's going to win a humanitarian award but isn't this the type of high character player we are looking for? Cody in the 2nd? If he slips...sounds like he may not considering his offseason weight-loss results.

    Because while Coles would be an upgrade to our WR core, he wouldn't represent a significant improvement to our team... Johnson and Hardy may be unproven but Coles isn't a whole lot better... Besides, with the state of our QB/OT/DL/uncertainties in our switch to 3-4, a better WR core isn't going to do much to get us into the playoffs (see last year)...

    Bad news in my honest opinion. I believe Jones was great because of the Oline...or at least that was my impression. In a straight up battle with LT and Jones (everything else being equal), I'd take LT. Without the pass-happy SD offense taking chance away from LT and a 2nd year QB, I see big things for LT... I HOPE I'm wrong.
