Bill Polian Ruined my Day!
T master replied to auburnbillsbacker's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
HELLO !! But try to tell the part of there not being a franchise QB in this years draft to a Bills fan. They will tell you how wrong Mr Pollian is & how much he sucked at what ever point they are trying to make differently than he has said. But i will have to side with him & have. I just hope our FO people are smart enough to see it too & go for the BPA that would have a immediate impact for the good of the team & choose a QB in a later round where they are truly rated & don't jump just because we need a QB. Next years class will be a lot better for QB's than this year i just hope they (Nix- Brandon - Marrone) realize & do something like bring back T Jack or a FA as a stop gap until next years draft or get a QB at the position he is ranked as a developmental back up for a year until we can get a franchise QB -

Mock Draft Game -- January Edition, Round 1
T master replied to Astrobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If we go QB with our first i would like to see Tyler Wilson but given the obvious i don't think that will come to pass (no pun intended) And given the desperation factor this year for teams like the Bills, KC, & others it is driving the QB's higher not solely based on the individuals skill set but need. I would love to see us dump Anderson & his contract given what he was not able to do before he got hurt last year & pick up a DE Alex Okafore or a top notch WR MAYBE at 8 then in the second be able to get a QB, then later on if a Tyler Bray is still hangin around pick up a second QB. It can't hurt seeing as we have not gotten one in a few years... I could live with that !!!! -
WOW there are only maybe 3 QB's this year that can compare to last years list & not even close to the 2 QB's taken at the opening of the draft which you forgot to mention. Last year Luck, RG3, Wilson, Cousins, Tannehill, & possibly Weedon exceed just about any of the guys coming out this year. 3 QB's & maybe 4 if you count Barkley (which given USC QB's of the recent past i wouldn't take a chance on him with a gun pointed to my head) might be worthy of the first round. If you take out the desperation factor of teams like the Bills, Cards, KC, & others some of these guys wouldn't get as much as a sniff until the second round at best. If a guy like Wilson given what he did in college dropped to the 3rd round last year, just on stats & skill set this years guys would drop even farther. The only one this year that can match or beat wilson may be Landry Jones career. Nassib is a decent QB but 2nd round by all counts. Not that these guys can't be good NFL QB's but if your looking for the next Manning, Brady, Luck, it ain't happening this year !! Now next year is a different story !!!

Trade M. Anderson A. Williams & L. Mckelvin to NYJ for Revis, then get Okafor or another pass rusher in the draft for less money & with Pettine leading that bunch !!! I gotta stop !! WOW !!!

What two QB'S do we draft and in what rounds?
T master replied to Dat Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jones & Manuel will be gone but i could see a Nassib / Bray draft happening & that wouldn't hurt my feelings either !! -
I'm almost all the way in on that one except for the other second to get Orapko ?? And i;m not real sure we will be seeing a trade made for either Smith or Flynn there is just to much money to be paid for them unless Overdorf is a financial genius & after the Fitz contract i'm kind of doubting that !! Criticism on this site WELL I NEVER !!! sorry didn't mean to yell...

One More Reason to Hate Tom Brady
T master replied to AC4 IN ATL's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Thats just retarded to spend that kind of money for 2 people & 1 child to live in. I would rather be like the guys on Duck Dynasty !! -
Well running a 3/4 base D wouldn't be that far fetched, every body thinks we don't have any players that fit the mold of a 3/4 but there again we do. I checked the Pats Pro Bowl NT Wilfork is 6' 2" & 325lbs, Dareus being 6'3" & 331lbs has the size top play the position then if Troup proves himself to be healthy he is 6'3" & 327lbs & he was drafted to play NT so there is the possible pairing. K.Williams - Dareus or Troup - Carrington as your 3/4 front then we do have Barrnett which was brought in as the MLB & was very productive at that position in a 3/4 & Merriman at his natural position was a LB in a 3/4 D in San Diego & M Williams was used as a LB in Houston & was productive, of coarse he whined the entire time but for $100 mill he can shut up & play a 3/4 part time. I for one think Merriman has more to give a team in the right situation & Pettine may be able to use him as a DE/LB in his scheme between the 2 - 3/4 4/3 sets. I know there are more positions to fill but that will be left up to Pettine & staff I'm just saying it's not totally out of the realm of possibility to work, especially if you have a coach that can get his players motivated & he can show them that it can work & they can win if they listen to him...

T master replied to Dat Dude's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Or we could pick one this year seeing as the talent level with the QB's isn't really that high & hope to get a gem then when the big boys come out next year grab a Taj Boyd, A.J. Mcarron, or some one like that ... -
A GM's Decision The Futures Calling
T master replied to T master's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
So then what your saying is keep Fitz as a back up & pay him $10.45 mill to do it ? Cause you still got to have a back up but at that price you could have 3 for one . Just asking . -
We all know it's coming up on a new era in Bills football, all of us are trying to look toward the positive side of the future, but there are some elements of our past that need to be considered. This year with the future calling, a lot of Bills fans have their own opinion's of what to do with the QB position, LB's & WR's but how do we not waste one draft pick this year seeing as all of them are needed & could prove useful. One draft pick that i would like the Bills fans to put on your GM hat & make a decision on from this years draft picks is the one that was used last year to get T Jack to come to the Bills. With the new coaching staff now in place do you just totally forget about what was the past or do you try & salvage what you can, in that meaning the draft pick of which i am talking about. Do you just let T jack walk off into the sunset carrying with him the draft pick used to get him here or do you offer him a chance to compete in this years camp ? I think it would be smart to at least let the guy prove he was worth what we gave up to get him here. We know he can be no less than a good back up for who ever is the Bills QB this year. He would probably be money wise a bit cheaper too, but at least by keeping him around seeing if he is willing the draft pick wouldn't be a total lose like the Carder/ Asper picks of last years draft. We can't continue to waste draft picks we need all we can get & we need to add them not give them away. So put on your GM hat & how do you go about making this decision ? Do you just forget it along with the past & move on or do you try to salvage the pick & talk about the possibility of T Jack.

5 candidates in 1 week & the Chip Kelly interview was said to be a very short interview - exhaustive ? Chicago / SanDiego maybe - KC / Buffalo not so much ! Sounds like they got you drinking the kool aid ! I just hope that our new coach doesn't have blinders on when looking at prospects in the draft & isn't relying on his comfort level of his old college players.

2 fines came out of last weeks games . 1 was on Tom Brady for sliding & trying to take out Ed Reed or protect him self at the end of a play. The other was to Frank Gore --- for wearing his socks too short ??? And the big thing is Gore got find more money than Brady, talk about preferential treatment for QB's ! Brady could have very easily ended Reeds career had he (meaning Reed) been going a bit faster or had his weight shifted or any little weird deal so i can see a hefty fine for him, but Gore ?? Gore was fined $10,500 for wearing his socks too short & Brady got fined $10,000 for sliding into Reed & that one looked pretty intentional. I don't mean he was intentionally trying to take Reeds knee out & hurt him but he was intentional in bringing his leg up to hit something or some one it wasn't just the way he landed. I think the commish should rethink his amounts that he charged for what infraction. I mean the punishment should fit the crime & $10,500 for wearing your socks too short as they say ... COME ON MAN !!

Cordarrelle Patterson - WR - Tennessee
T master replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dudes got some moves for sure & speed, i'd be up for it but we do need a QB that can drop it in deep like TYLER BRAY .. If we got him in the first Bray may be there in the third but i don't see Nix waiting that long . I think if the guy they want isn't there when we pick they will go with Nassib, Buddy commented in his interview how he has seen all of his games & how he has just consistently has gotten better each year. I think Nassib is a fore gone deal !! Dudes got some moves for sure & speed, i'd be up for it but we do need a QB that can drop it in deep like TYLER BRAY .. I hope Bills fans have more sense than that ! I would hate to think that our fan base would lower it self to some of the things that happen around the league .. Although i did go to the Pats game this year at the Ralph & sat in the Jim Kelly section & saw a Bills fan go off on a Pats fan b/c the Pats fan was raggin on him due to the come back & dude looked like he was ready to take him out in the parking lot . Security showed up, settled every one down & took the Bills fan out, he was definitely the more obnoxious of the 2 .. But it was a good day first Bills game in years, got to meet J Kelly before the game can't wait to go back this year !! GO BILLS !!!! Maybe this year i can meet Thurman or Andre ...

God's Team: Ray Lewis vs Tim Tebow - same or different?
T master replied to WotAGuy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
First off being a christian especially in todays world means you will be persecuted in some way & i believe that is part of the fascination with Teabow, is to follow him & see if the bright lights of the NFL will take him down or expose him as a phony christian. Along with the guy being used incorrectly & not given a true chance to prove that he can be a good player for some one i think has really tested his metal ! But as the person he is he always comes out on top b/c god has his back !! I believe that Ray has real conviction but b/c of his announcement the media will grab any chance to sensationalize any little tid bit of that story, if it was any one else i don't think they huddle around him like that. Maybe 1 or 2 would pick up on it but b/c of his situation they will be all over any little thing he does. I just hope one day Teabow gets to prove all these haters wrong & he doesn't have to prove that he is Montannaesk but just shows them all he can be & is a good NFL QB !! -
Jamarcus Russell Making a Comeback
T master replied to truth on hold's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We all make mistakes & it seems as the older you get things come more into focus, & i think all of us at one time or another in our lives have had a second chance so what would be so different in giving this guy a second chance ? As long as his motivation is for the love of the game & wanting to prove that he can be that guy then that's great, but if his motivation is because his check book isn't looking real good then every one needs to steer away from the guy !! Besides with the money he got for being a first over all QB i don't see how he or any of these guys could go through as much money as fast as they do !! -

What should the Bills do at #8?
T master replied to Solomon Grundy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
There are so many really good defensive players in this years draft even though we do need a QB i hope & pray we go defense ! Alex Okafor, Berkavious Wingo, just to name a few that will go in the first round. Can you imagine Okafor to mirror Williams on our front 4 of the D ? A player like him can change your franchise look at JPP. He would be a lot cheaper with a lot higher upside than the other guy that we picked up from NE that made such an impact that i can't remember his name ?? Seeing as this year the QB's in the draft are mediocre at best i hope that we at least wait until the second round to get one & take a first year impact player to add to our D . Defense wins championships it was proven by what the Ravens did to the Pats this year, shut them out in the second half . Although i don't see this happening we can all have our own personal ray of hope & this would be mine for this years draft !! Beside Pettine would dig that pick !!! -
Mayock: 3 or 4 QBs will go in first round
T master replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well get use to it because he is going with his former coach this has been a homer type hire & we as fans will have to watch it play out . I hope that it plays out for the better ! But my gut tells me that the actions of the Bills FO namely Russ Brandon was to get HIS GUY in as the HC . They said in interviews after the hire that it was a "exhaustive & thorough search" If 1 week & 5 candidates & one of those being a very short interview with Chip Kelly & 2 to suffice the Rooney rule constitutes exhaustive & thorough then we need to change the definition in Webster's because the Bills FO definition of those 2 words are 180 from the true meaning !! But here's hoping ??? go bills (limited enthusiasm) -
Have any of you heard about this guy, Da'rick Rogers ? He started out at UT & in his sophomore year led the SEC in receptions with 67 for 1040 yds. & was second in TD receptions at 9, also was named a first team all SEC selection. But was suspended indefinitely for failing a drug test at the end of that season & transferred to Tenn. Tech & this past year he caught 61 passes for 893 yds. & 10 td's. He has decided to forego his senior season & will enter this years draft. The kid is 6'2 or 3" depending on which bio you read & goes 215 lbs. Seeing as we need a #2 WR despite the drug thing do you think he would be worth a flyer in one of the late rounds if he is there at our pick? OH & has any one seen the guy in action b/c this is the first that i have heard of him, but i will go check him out on youtube...
