If you ask the parent if they would allow their child to drive a car on a heavily traveled road, or drink alcohol at say 2 yrs old, or would they allow their child to purchase a gun at the same age, or if they would allow their under age son or daughter to have consensual sex with a adult although perverts would hopefully sane parents wouldn't but i'm not positive of that because there are some out there that wouldn't care because they are just that stupid . Could it be that he wasn't in full game shape as of yet due to coming back from hs injury & McD wanted to see how at game speed he would handle it, could he have been on a pitch count as they say, or was he used in certain packages & seeing that Douglas has been playing in the system ever since he got here & has been playing at a high level ? Your choice . I don't think any coach worth their salt would start a player coming off IR that has been on it for most of the season to replace a player like Douglas but then that might just be me .

The NFL likes to be in total control of their product & have the final say as to how things will work exactly so they can make as much cash from those rights as they can . It's not just 1 thing it's quite a few things, Stability at the coaching positions, Experience there too, Mahomes, Kelsey, & their years together, great D coordinator, HC & offensive mind, & some really good to great players on either side of the ball . I think your jumping the gun Elam was injured for most of last season I would much rather have Beane get another WR in the draft in the long run it will be cheaper . Plus it's not like CB is a strength of the Bills . Plus knowing our luck he would go to the Titans & the switch would come on & he would be a all pro . Given how the Bills have developed good players like Millano, Benford, and quite a few others i think they should give him a good chance while being healthy then determine how to move forward with him .

He's not going to get paid by this or any other team given the last 3 seasons that would be foolish for any team to pay him as the player he was before the injuries . If i was Beane i would give him a prove it deal (Maybe) but not at corner maybe safety & then i'd have to think about it . True but if there is a rule that says no smoking & the fact that you were a child under the legal age of recognition & not only shouldn't be smoking but had to either steal the money to get cigarettes or steal the cigarettes from someone old enough to buy them (or bribe them to get you some with the money you had stolen or earned) or actually adult enough to make that decision, so not only did you break the rule of not smoking period or not smoking on school property but you also committed some other infractions in order to smoke . I'm not sure that they have fixed it completely . I think if they played another (what ever the time limit) quarter of play which would be OT and who ever is leading at the end of the full amount of time would be the winner & if still tied go into a "Sudden death OT" meaning that who ever scores first wins hence sudden death . My parents agree'd to NEVER hit us kids in the head area but my dad busted my ass when i needed it & it did make me a better person it taught me about consequences for my actions !! Yah i thought that was a bit foolish on his part especially when Reid is the reason why he is where he is I'm not sure if he was on say the Cards he would have the career that he has in KC .
