Best news ive heard all day, i would prefer he got a HC gig so we could get compensation, but ill take it. Hopefully McDermott runs the Defense and is more aggressive and flexible to change or whoever runs it.

another TE would be great but this team doesn't like elite TEs. we do not need to draft a RB. if we sign our DTs back we should draft a legit pass rushing talent. Elite WR or OL should be our first pick.

Settle got hurt, Philips got hurt, Jones got hurt, when they weren't hurt the Dline was great but went south after that. Oliver and Epenesa aren't great Basham is ok. Beane has drafted well on both lines but has been solid with free agents.

Yeah BS, this defense will continue to get run over and give up big third downs as long as we play soft zone. McDermott needs to remember when he worked with Jim Johnson, who was aggressive and had great defenses. philosophy is garbage. Ive tolerated it because i love what McDermott did to get this franchise turned around but ive never liked it and always staying in the 42 and rarely making adjustments is the height of foolishness.
