Dont want to show everything, just remember how bad we always looked the past 20 yrs in preseason . Tonight was great and it shows we can actually run the ball unlike last year.

Preseason games aren't meaningless. Its clear Josh and crew were out of sync and they need more game reps not less. Also way too many penalties on both sides, teams looked sloppy. The less these guys practice the more they get dinged up. 3 lions went down in the first half alone. There comes a point were you actually need to be conditioned to hitting and doing less is not helping.

Watching the first drive that we gave up a touchdown on we used a lot of man defense and it failed. Not sure if they were experimenting but building a zone team with those type of players and having them run man is asking for trouble.

There will always be scrimmage partners and if not no big deal. the teams know who they are going to keep and two games could do that just as well.

definitely should be a lager roster AND it should be fully utilized not this cut down to 45 crap on game day. I want a 60 man roster to cover for injuries. also do not want none this nonsense about players can only play in 16 of the 18 games. Let the greed begin! The faster they get to two games the better. I dont think they will do away with it altogether nor should they as i think it takes a couple games to get everything in sync, not just the players.

Extra playoffs, which im in favor of, doesnt cover all the teams. Preseason game revenue doesnt have to be shared so the owners want to keep that money even if its not as much as regular season and tv money. No more ridiculous than it has ever been, players have played these games since the beginning so not a big deal. Owners are greedy so the games are staying.

Doesnt matter , the league will still have 4 preseason games stars or no stars.

The players only want 16 games not 18.

With teams resting starters there is talking of doing away with the pre season since coaches and players dont want to do it anymore. However until the revenue from those games is replaced its not going to happen. The owners now the players over a barrel in that they really dont want to play in the preseason, therefore the owners will get their 18 game schedule , as eventually the players will cave to it if they want those two preseason games gone.
