  1. ESPN is doing their blogger's mock draft, bloggers play GM and make picks/trade for first round At 10, the Bills traded down with....the JETS, who had to give a boat load to move up 6 spots, where they selected Ingram At 16, Bills took Riley Reiff (Floyd and Gilmore were taken with picks before) To trade up the Jets gave the bills the 16th, 77th, 154th and 187th... Overall, not a bad move, most of us seem to want a trade down, however I would definately not want us to take Reiff at that spot..but it seemed like he was dictated to us by the picks right before ours in the trade down....
  2. just came in to say this, haha
  3. david is NOT 6'3 and 243, unless he grew 2 inches and put on 25 pounds since the football season ended...but thats a helluva growth spurt for a 21 year old man
  4. interesting you completely gloss over Gilmore at CB at the 10 spot, he is who I THINK we draft...who I want, is Kuechly (and would be happy with Floyd or Gilmore)
  5. first of all I really dont think Belichick is open to trading Mallet, unless of course hes offered a "too good to be true" scenario from a QB desparate team....and second, I think he (and the offensive staff) really like Brian Hoyer, add in the fact that Brady will probably play for 3-5 more years and you have an obvious answer to why he would be willing to trade a 3rd QB on the depth chart (for a dynamite offer)....and Belichick loves turning one draft pick into multiple...
  6. well I most certainly heard none of those, and id be very interested to hear or see where you heard such rumors....I highly doubt he would have been drafted (let alone in the 3rd round by the Pats) if there were concerns over meth and cocaine....only thing he ever tested/admitted to was pot im certainly not saying I want to trade for him haha, but people talking "relapse" over the dude enjoying a bong hit here and there is rediculous
  7. its not just NFL game carries that wears down your body, its preparing, its practicing, its all wear and tear....I definately understand your point, but if im giving a contract extension, im giving that extension based on a 31 year old running back, not a 28 year old one....2 year extension.... and just curious, but under same scenario, lets say Adrian Peterson stops playing football for 5 years then comes back, do you think he can play until hes 40?
  8. a drug relapse? jesus christ he was smoking pot not shooting heroin haha....theres alot of things probably to worry about with Mallet, a "drug relapse" doesnt even rate....the cluelessness of some people around here baffles me...
  9. what does Fred Jackson have to do with this argument? Fred Jackson's body took plenty of pounding prior to his NFL football career...playing in a different league doesnt mean the wear and tear on your body is any less... I agree, for Weeden, that playing baseball for 5 years didnt take the toll on his body like football would, but there is plenty of body fatigue for athletes in all sports, so its not like his body was in an incubator for those 5 years, he was still "adding up mileage"...but I wouldnt NOT take Weeden because of his age, I would NOT take Weeden because he blows haha
  10. his athleticism was on display at the combine (as well as every play on tape), he compared to and beat the stats put up by Patrick Willis - so he does have athleticism, as well as all the tape in the world that he could be a dominant MLB for the next 10 years...id take that and be happy with it
  11. I could see players "shooting up draft boards" in the respect that the media is finally uncovering information from teams front offices about players they like that the media had previously "underrated".....so they would be shooting up the media/draft pundits draft boards when in reality they have been high on teams draft boards all along (and the media is of course, late in discovering this/reporting this, hence the "shooting up draft boards")....
  12. everyone who grew up with him in Endicott says your wrong : ) but keep that support coming b/c he is the TRUTH (I assume your talking Jonny and not Art haha)
  13. for what its worth, I grew up with his older brothers (both phenemonel professional athletes) and the Jones work ethic is superb...never knew Chandler though, but im sure the apple does not fall far from the tree....2nd round though? I thought he was graded at 3rd or 4th but I guess if the GM is confident then who cares about "grades"....
  14. if by "terrible movie" you mean great action flick that I watch every time it is on TBS, your right : )
  15. agreed, between the twin-like resemblence to Payton, as well as her chin gunk....ill pass
  16. hahahahah, love the Donovan comment....brilliant
  17. first off, I apologize if there already is a thread, I searched and went bank pages in the off wall cat. and cant find any threads... anyone been watching this show? there are some episodes that are HILARIOUS and some duds, but this show overall I think has some real potential when they "figure it out"...the kids are downright hilarious and Bob and side characters make some funny comments as well, but the real reason to come and watch are the kids (all three are unique and PERFECT for what they represent...) love to know if anyone else out there enjoys this show, b/c I dont hear much hype about it (although it had to have had decent ratings to get brought back as a 2nd season?)
  18. first off OP, GREAT post...explains things about RW (not ralph wilson) very well... ill admit, ive been a big RW hater for a while, because I always just thought of him as a little running QB who made big passing plays off of play action where he didnt have to "Fit the ball in there" or "put it on a rope"...and while sure, those plays did pad his stats....what is no longer ignorable for me is the amount of passes this kid puts exactly where they need to be so only his receiver can catch the ball. He makes the tight throws very, very well, and honestly his tiny stature doesnt seem to keep him from seeing the field/making the throw/not being batted down Now, granted Wisc. (and even NC State) used A LOT of boots and roll outs/playaction to get RW 5-7 yards deep so he had clear vision...but all that is set up off of a solid run game, which the Bills do gave. However, given Chans past offenses and play calling (and maybe an Oline who is very very good at blocking for the quick hitting spread offense) I dont know how much of a fit RW is for these Bills I know Chan could design an offense that plays to RW's strengths, but it is NOT the offense that is in place for Fitzy, so drafting him would most likely leave him as a 3rd QB - project, who maybe could take the reigns and be the bills QB (however, Chan would probably not be the coach of that team) Overall, Im changing my mind on the kid, I think he is a gamer who, of all the short QBs (whom I normally loathe), this kid looks like he could seriously be the real deal with a good system/head coach/offense....just my two cents
  19. oh my god how I have forgotten that scene...I wish you had the full clip (not your fault) b/c that scene is F***ing awesome, good call man
  20. no one, because trade downs dont often happen (especially outside of the top few picks) so the Bills will be selecting at 10 overall
  21. they should have signed Shane Falco instead
  22. The scene from Reservoir Dogs: totally bad assss Also, one of my fave action scenes from any movie, True Romance: (longer but sooooo good, just makes you feel hurt yourself) enjoy! it is perfect...there is no other ending to it, its just like the book
  23. depends on which "juices" your referring to...like, get you pumped up, or get you "in the mood"? haha
  24. no no no, gotta play hardball with the fins....a cart for the round of golf AND complimentary food and drink from the clubhouse at the turn...
