  1. Man I hope you’re right.
  2. @GunnerBill I like the Olave idea especially long term. If Beane doesn’t want to burn high draft capital just pull the trigger finally on Hopkins if it looks like we’re actually a Super Bowl contender. All in all we need to spend more draft capital on the WR room year in and year out like he does on the d line
  3. I disagree on Hamler. I don’t fault him for not breaking a bunch of tackles on the couple catches he got last game because immediately after he caught the ball he went upfield and was swarmed by defenders. Our QBs aren’t doing a great job putting WRs in position to win but then again they are Jags that are taking up space to get through the preseason. Hamler has shown explosiveness with the ball in his hands and you saw that when he ran the ball at the end of this game and on the kick return he didn’t drop lol. Patrick isn’t sexy but when healthy he’s very reliable. Hes not a guy we’re going to want to punch the TV over for dropping a ball on a routine comeback route. I 100% agree with you that our WR room outside of the main 4 is a mess and if we’re truly being honest those main 4 should be moved down a peg for a true #1…but I get it we’re hoping Kincaid is that guy this year. I just hope we have a little better depth and versatility so we don’t have to count on MVS or even Hollins regularly
  4. Why no chance? Did MVS do anything to make you think he’s worth a roster spot or do we just give people spots based on what they’ve done in the past. He's continuously a liability at anything that’s not the deep ball. He is Gabe Davis without the blocking. Patrick is an actual WR who does all of the little things. Is he an athletic freak no but at this point getting Josh dependable WRs that don’t drop the ball and can find open spaces in coverage and the red zone is what he needs
  5. No I misspoke. So in that case I guess if we can’t trade for him for a 7th we can just bring him in and sign him. I really do think he’d instantly be our #3/4 WR over Hollins. He’s very dependable when healthy
  6. They have a plethora of young WR talent they don’t want to lose. He won’t get through waivers imo. I would give up a 6th or 7th for him but I think you’re probably right, the bills are cautious in these situations and will just wait to see if he clears waivers and miss out.
  7. Hamler can fill that role as well and Tim, when healthy, is great at finding space to get open. He looks fully healthy this preseason and was Bo’s favorite weapon. I just want guys who can create separation and catch the dang ball lol and he checks both boxes
  8. Broncos beat writer Mike Klis reports the Broncos are moving on from WR Time Patrick and “are currently exploring trade possibilities” for the veteran WR. He’s finally healthy. Would take him over MVS all day because get this…he can actually catch the ball. Give up a 7th and make it happen 🥳
  9. If we’re trading Elam at all, which I wouldn’t, it better be for a WR on a cost controlled rookie contract still. Grab Iosivas from the bengals
  10. Man I’m going to have to call them now lol. I just did the student offer for $199 but with that offer you can only use it on one tv. Bet the military offer lets you use multiple am right?
  11. Where’d you see this? I couldn’t find it anywhere
  12. I agree that Cain showed up and deserves at least a practice squad spot but the bolded just isn’t true. Not sure if Hamler hurt you or not jk but the disdain is clouding your judgement of what he can do for our offense. He’s at the very least the backup role to what they want Samuel to be but with the added dimension of being able to blow the top off of the defense. With the ball in his hands he’s clearly the most dynamic player on the field. Hes had some ups and downs this preseason but unlike MVS and other jags he’s worth the risk imo
  13. Yes and my opinion is a gauntlet drill is a very small part of the evaluation process. We don’t get to sit in on interviews and I have a feeling that holds more weight on what’s going on with him than a combine drill. He’s still a very good prospect because he showed out every week as a difference maker at Oregon. Maybe he’ll just take a little longer to prove it in the NFL. He’s got the talent, just watch any game of him at Oregon
  14. Crazy that 2 of the top 3 vote getters don’t belong on our 53 (MVS and Anderseen). I can make a case for every other player on that list to make it though and honestly they all should. Better to have young talented guys then old has beens/jags
  15. 😆 after a gauntlet drill?! Really? So who cares about how productive he was in college and how much separation he could get on his routes. The gauntlet drill is the end all be all for evaluating WR talent. Puka killed it so that must mean that’s the only way to find a true difference maker in the NFL How about we wait and see how they year plays out before branding these rookies that have never played a regular season nfl snap busts
  16. Same as last year and yet Smiley remains…
  17. Hope he sticks on the PS. Imo he should be WR5. He’s unique and brings a burst no one else has. Cain looked good too. MVS shouldn’t make the team, he’s a playoff hero for the chiefs and they didn’t want to keep him that should be enough said on Mr. Drop
  18. I don’t care what anyone says. KJ Hamler is a difference maker and needs to make this team
  19. Davidson needs to make this team
  20. I’m saying if a team has enough love for him to poach and put him on their 53 then why not shop him for a WR like Bo Melton or someone on a team with a crowded WR room
  21. If that’s the case trade him for a WR
  22. Hoping Beane has the balls to take one of GBs practice squad WRs lol
  23. The constant posts about how crappy the receiving corps was shouldn’t distract us from Josh being a seasoned franchise QB who has the only FO who consistently lets him down during the draft. Even when KC misses they still try and get Mahomes weapons with Hardman, Toney, Skyy Moore. They hit on Rice even if he should be suspended and got more weapons this offseason and they’re not even the best at getting their franchise QB weapons (still better than us). Bengals every year draft 2 WRs or more for Burrow and have a plethora of young talent in Iosivas, Burton, Charlie Jones on top of their 2 top 10 WRs. The Packers every year draft multiple WRs and they have a plethora of guys that now would be #2 or 3 WRs on most teams. The SF 49ers and Miami dolphins don’t even have a franchise quarterback and they always put weapons around their guy in the draft (Pearsall, Cowing, Malik Washington)… our boy Josh loses his #1 and #2 WRs and we draft ONE WR in the draft and then go back to defense on day 2s next 2 picks. Couldn’t nab a decent safety for cheap in free agency? Can’t find a rotational d lineman off the streets? The second most important and highest paid position in the NFL and we don’t want young talent to develop with a once in a lifetime QB. We want retread JAGs that couldn’t cut it on the teams mentioned above. Until Beane and McD change their mindset on focusing on Josh’s future with the Bills, he will continue to have to be Superman making the lame look competent. I truly hope they fix this soon or we may not have Josh much longer because he’s not an idiot and he sees what’s a priority in McD and Beanes eyes right now
  24. If Shakir is healthy I bet he gets over 1100 yards and 7 TDs this year. He’s our version of Puka this year so I’m underselling what he’s going to do. He’s our only WR (not TE) I think will be a consistent fantasy threat each and every week
