  1. Who cares what we could have got for Lynch. What's done is done and we can't turn back time unless I missed something the last 36 years.
  2. Why replace the entire middle three to play two guys, namely Wang and Urbik, who have exactly ZERO NFL experience? What have these two characters done to earn an NFL start? It's called a youth movement you can only get experience by playing in a game
  3. Bell isn't serviceable at LT, Levitre and Wood aren't playing to the level at the round they were selected (for guards especially) and Hangartner is average at best. I beg to differ. I think Bell is doing much better and still has a lot of upside compared to last year. And we get 90% of our running yards off the left side. I really hope our line looks like this in the near future. Bell, Lavitre, Wood, Urbik, Wang
  4. I dont know about you but I would like to see more rookies play. It really doesn't look good for us this year. I do like the fact that Nix/Gaily have a plan and are not letting anyone get in there way with execution. I would like to see more Troupe, some Carrington, bench Green he is not the answer, (in fact he is the oldest and slowest guy on the team) and lets see what we have in Wang if he is ready at Right tackle or put that Urbik guy in there either one of those two is better then Green right now and they both have an upside. Or Nix should trade Lee Evans to S.D. for Jackson cause Jackson is more of a number one reciever then Evens is. I like Evans, but he really doesn't do anything but go deep or try the WR screen that never works. A number one WR to me does it all (i.e. goes over the middle). If we go youth movement let's go all in. By the way what ever happened to our ratation on the D-line??
  5. They should call this game before someone gets killed. The Bills are playing like they just don't care. Play Brohm cause we aren't going to win a game this year anyway
  6. And the 3-4 defense is better the the 4-3 we were running why? I would rather be running the 4-3 we were running last year at this point.
  7. Did our Offense know the game started. Fitzpatrick sucks not even coming close to the recievers put Brohm in. We are doomed.
  8. As I step back and watch the college games that have been played so far here is my take: Adrew Luck is by far the best QB and has the best potential coming out this year. I was a little skeptic at first cause we dont score too good with Stanford players. I praised Ryan Mallett earlier too but after seeing him get interviewed after the Georgia game he reminded me of Ryan Leaf (No Way we want a Leaf look alike) I also praised Jerrod Johnson from Texas A&M. I am an Aggies football fan and I like his grit but if we take him we live and die by the sword there is no in between. He can make all the throws and he was hitting all those out throws on Thursday night no matter how far and on the money. But as I watched him closer he reminded me of Byron Leftwich a career backup in the pros. I really can't say anything about Locker just that I really think he is over rated like Russell was. Big arm (wow).
  9. Ryan Mallet is the next BIG thing...literally and physically! He is the answer to turn this franchise around IMO! +1
  10. So much for Chan's offensive master mind. He is just like DJ was on the sideline a "bump on a log" wondering what he is going to eat after the game. I want a firey coach who gets in there face and shows some emotion on the sideline. I mean the Bills were in the game at the half. I just wondered what he said to them at half time. I was also a big time TE supporter but now I am getting tired of him as fast as the sun sets in the west. I say don't even put Fitz in we already know what he can do and play Brohm the rest of the way. Give him a chance and see what he has. Some people can't practice but come game time they perform. The way they played today we aren't winning a game this year. So let's get our choice at the top of the draft next year instead of taking what other teams dont want.
  11. A QB like Ponder or Luck could give us one of the puzzle pieces we need to be a legitimate Super Bowl threat. I don't think Ponder or Luck are the answer and I think both will be overpaid draft busts next year. I think we should go after Ryan Mallett this dude plays in the SEC and has a cannon for an arm. Would be able to throw in Buffalo.
  12. The Bills lost that game in the end. Get your facts straight. And face facts Trent Edwards is our quarterback right now love it or hate it, its a fact. So the best thing we can do is support him.
  13. Don't blame it all on the QB and Line. Although they didn't play up to par but the play calling by Gaily sucked also. I thought we were suppose to be a run first team and the first three plays of the game were passes. I would have been more happy if we ran three times and were out instead of pass. The team is young and inexperienced and probably a little jittery, I just wish they would have ran more. Also on a 3rd and 2 inside your own 15 and you run a play out of the shotgun with an empty backfield. Sorry play call. Take your chances and run off guard or something. JMO.
  14. How about that arm bar on Lee Evans down the sideline that wasn't called. Even Steve Tasker said the refs missed that call. Then the very next play, the dolphins killed Edwards after he got rid of the ball then the dolphins players heckeled the crowd like jerks.
  15. I just have some random thoughts on the O-Line after the Bills picked up Urbik off waivers. This is how I see our line shaping up by season’s end: LT Bell – hasn’t been bad during preseason but still has room to grow. He is a beast when out in the open on run blocking plays. LG Levitre – Long time guard for the Bills to hold down the line C Woods – Will move there eventually this year and Hangartner will be a solid back up. RG Urbik – Now that the Bills have the top three OG prospects from the 2009 draft on there roster and all are still young they should let them grow and jell together. RT Wang – Very athletic tackle and a definite upgrade from Green who is a career backup. This has the potential to be a very impressive line I think as long as we can be patient with them and let them grow together. We also have some solid backups (and yes I said backups) who will push the starters everyday in practice in Meredith, Howard, Green, and Hangartner. I am beginning to really like the way it is shaping up. Your thoughts.
  16. I still think in next years draft we should draft a tackle with our first pick no matter where it is. Then draft Jerrod Johnson QB Texas A&M with our second pick. This guy is a beast and we wouldn't have to pay much for him.
  17. You can't demand chemistry Dan, it's either there or it isn't, and sometimes you have to work at it.
  18. I really thought our O-line did a pretty good job the first couple of weeks last year when all were healthy and playing. Of course they were making some errors and some costly penalties also but all in all they were playing respectable. It takes time for an O-line to gel and work as one. It doesn't happen in preseason or just by hanging out it happens on the field in real time situations. Do you remember how pitiful the Colts line was when Manning started and they just started building there dynasty....they sucked. Just give them some time. All our guys are back from last years starting unit minus Butler so give them some time...
  19. It's going to be Trent Edwards. He will be our starting QB and all you haters will be on his jock by week 10 when the Bills are 6-4 fighting for a playoff berth. Chan will mold him the way he should have been molded 3 years ago when we drafted him.
  20. I think we should target Jake Delhomme (QB) and Maake Kemoeatu (DT/NT) as our top free agents to be. I like Williams to from SD to fill the NT billet but I think he is way past his prime and close to retire. On the other hand Kemoeatu still has a good 5 years left in the tank if all went well from his sergury which according to sources and what I have read this morning he will be ready for training camp. Back to the headline, I think we should bring in Jake to sure up our QB situation and give him a fresh start. Sometimes a change of scenery is good for a player and I think he could teach TE a thing or two cause its not like he ever had a mentor before. Plus Jake is the kind of teammate that I think would make everyone on offense a little better. He definately isn't gun shy and will throw the ball down field (although last year it was to the wrong team alot) but he never blamed anyone but himself for his poor play. He has a big arm and is a Pro Bowler and took his team to the Superbowl and two NFC championship games (proven winner). Remember the situation that Drew was in when he came to Buffalo. Everyone thought he was washed up. Even though he didn't take us to the playoffs he did give us our last winning sean (9-7) and at least a shot at the playoffs going into the last week of the season. I would take that from Jake at least it would make the whole season better for us.
  21. Our backfield is fine. Haven't you guys ever heard "if its not broke don't fix it" trading away Lynch would be stupid.
  22. What is up with all the ND stuff. They suck. We sucked last year! Doesn't make sense you want us all to suck together. I like Toby Gerhart but I like Lynch better. Him and Jackson are a great tandom why change it up. And if you want Clausen in the first why would you get Tebow late if he falls? I am just saying.
  23. I am not sold on the Clausen guy either. I watched a lot of ND games and he had to throw the ball alot cause they were down so much late in games. I am also not sold on any of the QB's coming out this year, none of them knock me off my feet. But, there is a lot of winners in this class and winning is the mentality we need in our leaders (even if they dont start go TE). Come on guys we all know what we need, a LT and NT with the first two picks sign a Porters to mentor Maybin and draft another OLB. Pick up Tebow or McCoy in the third (I like McCoy better but Tebow seems to be a better guy and has a better influence on his team) to be the QB in waiting, both winners anyway you look at it. But you have to give any QB we have behind center a line to work with.
